Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

The impact of the first gold artifact discovered in deep space! A perilous situation has been created!Just as Ye Xingyu was feeling emotional, another system prompt quickly sounded:

”Ding! Due to you obtaining the first gold artifact in Deep Space! The system will now make a server-wide announcement! Do you wish to hide your name?”

Ye Xingyu was making progress!

He didn’t expect the golden hunter bow to be the first gold artifact dropped in the entire game!

The total number of people playing Deep Space worldwide now exceeds 5 billion!

This meant his ability to acquire equipment surpassed everyone else’s!

This was of great significance!

Ye Xingyu decisively clicked -> No!

”Hide what? It’s no longer the era of pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger! Announce it for me!”

”Ding! By the grace of Heaven, server-wide announcement:

Attention all players! Player Falling Nine Heavens has obtained the first gold artifact in deep space!

The system will now activate the Gold Ranking!

Players holding gold-grade equipment and above will be listed!

Player Falling Nine Heavens Gold Coins +10000! Reputation +10000!

This is a special announcement!” x3

A sudden server-wide announcement shocked everyone in deep space.

At this moment, countless players, numbering over a hundred million, involuntarily stopped their work.

They looked up at the sky, appearing dazed.

Then, they suddenly burst out:

”Damn it! Who is Falling Nine Heavens? I’m still using a white-grade weapon, and someone has already gotten a gold artifact!?”

”I don’t want to live anymore!”

”I forgot to tell you, that’s my godfather.”

”baka! A Xia Country player has actually surpassed our Little Sun Country Empire’s progress! This is truly unbelievable!”

”Yoshi! This person is named Falling Nine Heavens, right? I’ll immediately arrange for spies in Xia Country to kill him! Die, die, die! How dare he surpass our Little Sun Country Empire, he doesn’t want to live!”

”Fujishio Mishiko, come in with me for a moment, I have a big business deal I want to discuss with you.”

”Aishiba! The title of world’s number one has been stolen by the neighboring Xia Country people!! Is there no one left in our Big Stick Country?”

”Aishiba! The world’s first gold artifact was clearly ours, the Big Stick Country’s! How did it get stolen by the Xia Country people! Does anyone know why?”

”Shit!”

”Shit!”

”Holy Shit!”

”Xia Country wants to surpass us, Alimeka! No! The world’s number one is ours, Alimeka’s!”

”I declare an immediate equipment war against Xia Country! Impose a 100% export tax on all equipment from Xia Country! At the same time, prohibit all gold-grade and above equipment from flowing into Xia Country! Let the whole world blockade Xia Country’s high-end equipment industry! Let them never rise!”

For a time, the server-wide announcement caused by Ye Xingyu stirred up a huge uproar.

Countless game players expressed their opinions on this from all corners of the globe.

Of course, Ye Xingyu himself didn’t hear any of these words.

”Ding! The Deep Space Equipment Gold Ranking has been activated! All players can view it at any time!”

He opened the Equipment Gold Ranking!

[Gold Ranking] (Xia Country Server Region)

1, golden hunter bow, Weapon - Bow, Level 10 gold artifact, Equipment Index 10080. Holder — Falling Nine Heavens.

On the entire Xia Country Server Region’s Gold Ranking, there was only one lonely piece of equipment: the ”golden hunter bow.”

The name Falling Nine Heavens instantly entered the public’s view.

”Gulu lulu...”

”Gulu lulu...”

Ye Xingyu’s voice communication immediately rang.

At this moment, tens of thousands of friend requests and voice call requests were being sent to him from countless players in Xia Country at the same time!

And countless private messages almost simultaneously began to bombard his message bar:

”Ma De Falling Nine Heavens! Are you selling the golden hunter bow? Price is negotiable!”

”Ma De, do you have any other unused weapons, equipment, or skill books? Apply for a trade!”

”Brother Nine Heavens! Are you looking for a long-term leveling partner? A warm-hearted, sweet girl can be hooked up with one click! I can do anything, choose me and you’ll forever say goodbye to lonely nights and have endless joy!”

”A little game that makes people blush, heart pound, and hormones rise rapidly, essential for home, click to play and start immediately!”

Bombarded by countless messages, Ye Xingyu had to temporarily close the private message function for strangers.

At the same time, he changed the scope for adding friends to only allow face-to-face applications.

Things got much better then.

But!

Although the remote troubles were gone, a large group of people immediately gathered around Ye Xingyu.

Everyone stared at him with burning eyes!

”Falling Nine Heavens! Don’t deny it! You are Falling Nine Heavens, right? I just personally witnessed the Ma De drop a hunter bow! It’s the golden hunter bow on the equipment ranking!”

”So many of us worked together to defeat the Ma De! It’s not right for you to take all the equipment by yourself, is it?”

”Exactly, we need to split it! We can’t just put in effort without getting paid!”

”Exactly, exactly!”

One by one, the players began to clamor.

They inexplicably surrounded Ye Xingyu in the center, tightly packed.

Shameless!

Clearly, Ye Xingyu alone had dealt all the damage to the Ma De’s health.

None of these people had contributed any effort.

When the Ma De was killing people, these surviving players were all desperately fleeing.

Now that they saw the Ma De fall, they actually came back wanting to share the equipment!

Ye Xingyu immediately understood the intentions of the people around him.

Many pairs of red eyes stared at him, threatening:

”Falling Nine Heavens! Don’t even think about hogging the equipment! The golden hunter bow isn’t yours alone! You must give us compensation!”

”Exactly, exactly!”

”My demands aren’t high! Just give me 100,000 gold coins!”

Everyone pressed him aggressively.

Ye Xingyu snorted coldly, too lazy to argue with them:

”What do you want? If you want to PK in the safe zone, first look at the faces of the village guards.”

The surrounding players heard him speak.

Some of them actually turned their heads to look around.

They immediately discovered that from both sides of the village street, groups of Novice Village guards were rushing over in a hurry.

They immediately exclaimed:

”Damn it! Something’s wrong! There really are guards rushing over!”

”Could it be that Falling Nine Heavens is protected?”

Countless people exclaimed.

The players immediately became nervous.

Everyone looked at these unwelcome newcomers.

Approximately 12 Novice Village guards, led by an old man, quickly approached.

The guards shouted:

”Move aside! Move aside! Who dares to cause trouble in the Novice Village!?”

Seeing the fierce guards, the players dared not move even more.

”Holy crap! The old man leading them is the Village Chief!”

Someone recognized the leader as the Novice Village Chief.

Looking at their posture, something was going to happen to Falling Nine Heavens!

Countless players thought gleefully.

So they all made way for the Village Chief and the guards.

Ten seconds later, the Village Chief and 12 guards indeed gathered in front of Ye Xingyu.

The Novice Village Chief asked with a cold expression:

”Falling Nine Heavens! Did you kill the villager Ma De? Committing murder on the street! What do you have to say for yourself now?”

The Village Chief vigorously waved his arm.

The guards understood and immediately surrounded him to arrest him!
