Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Tier 1 Archer Exclusive Set, Level 10 Stats”Ding! Detecting that you have just completed your class change, the system has specially prepared a novice-exclusive class change gift pack for you! Please choose—”

Before Ye Xingyu’s eyes,

A selection interface for several gift packs suddenly appeared.

The gift packs looked splendid and valuable.

Extremely tempting.

The prices of the gift packs were:

0 / 100 / 1000 / 10000 / 100000

Exclusive Class Change Gift Pack.

Of course, he chose the most expensive one!

As everyone knows,

The more expensive an item is in a game, the better it is.

Ye Xingyu didn’t even look and directly chose the last one.

”Ding! Gift pack opened! Congratulations on obtaining the Archer Exclusive — First Class Change Professional Set × 1!”

”Oh! It’s actually the Archer First Class Change Set!”

Ye Xingyu remembered that this First Class Change Set could be specifically farmed in a certain special dungeon.

In his previous life, right after changing classes,

He and a large group of companions even spent an entire month farming in that dungeon specifically for this professional set.

Only then did they barely manage to gather a complete set.

The attributes and special effects were quite good for a novice.

He hadn’t expected it.

In this life, he directly relied onPay-to-win (paying to win) and immediately obtained it the moment he completed his class change!

This was equivalent to saving a month’s time compared to his previous life!

”Not bad at all!”

Ye Xingyu said joyfully.

In his backpack,

A complete set of equipment indeed appeared: First-tier Archer Leather Armor, Archer Trousers, Archer Bracers, Archer Belt, Archer Boots, and so on!

All components were of bronze grade.

And came with set special effects!

However,

Ye Xingyu was not in a hurry to put on this set of equipment.

Instead, he held them in his hand.

”Ding! You can spend 50,000 gold coins to upgrade the Archer Set to silver grade. Do you wish to proceed?”

”Hahahaha! This is what I’ve been waiting for!”

”Definitely upgrade!”

As time passed, Ye Xingyu became more and more familiar with his talent.

Anyway, he had spent a lot of money.

When encountering such situations, he didn’t even consider other options.

First and foremost, it was most important to quickly improve his strength.

”Hint! 50,000 gold coins have been spent. The Archer Set has successfully been promoted to silver grade!”

...The biggest feature of a professional set is that

Its main function focuses on increasing the character’s skill levels.

Compared to other sets,

It provides relatively fewer attribute bonuses.

But it does provide them, and they are very comprehensive.

For some professions that are extremely reliant on skills—it can be called the optimal choice.

On other scattered equipment,

It is rare to see entries that increase skill levels.

A true pro player should always have at least two sets of equipment in his backpack.

To facilitate selection when different needs arise.

At the current stage of only the First Class Change,

Ye Xingyu didn’t want to make it so complicated.

He directly put on the entire set of equipment.

His own attributes instantly soared by a large margin.

At the same time,

All his current skill levels increased by 2 levels!

...Ye Xingyu currently possesses a total of 7 skills.

For someone who just completed his class change, this was already quite a lot!

After each class change in Deep Space,

Only 4 skills could be learned from the mentor.

Other skills of one’s own class

Could only be obtained from specific NPCs

Or dropped probabilistically by wild monsters upon death!

Therefore, every skill was extremely rare.

One had to rely on a bit of strength and luck.

This was also the fundamental reason why the prices of skill books for various professions always remained expensive.

After equipping all the gear,

Ye Xingyu finally opened his panel to check his current attributes:

Especially the golden hunter bow, which provided a high amount of attack power.
