Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

The first piece of dark gold artifact has been created!“Hmm…” Ye Xingyu pondered for a moment.

The emeralds wish was a very standard gold-grade weapon.

If it could be used in a forest environment,

it could increase movement speed by a full 40%!

That was equivalent to wearing two extra pairs of speed boots compared to others!

This effect was quite exaggerated.

The only regrettable thing was that

its usage range was limited.

When used normally, it only achieved half the effect.

It made one feel a slight sense of imperfection.

However,

compared to the golden hunter bow Ye Xingyu was currently using,

the emeralds wish’s biggest advantage was that it was originally a gold artifact from the factory.

It hadn’t undergone a quality upgrade like the golden hunter bow.

That also meant—hehehe (*^▽^*)

“Ding! Hint: You can consume 100,000 gold coins to upgrade the emeralds wish to dark gold grade. Do you want to upgrade?”

“Hiss—!”

Although the price of equipment upgrades was getting more expensive,

this would be his main weapon in the future.

Upgrading it was definitely not a loss!

Ye Xingyu gently stroked the bowstring of the emeralds wish.

Instantly,

its original appearance underwent a huge change!

“Ding! Upgrade successful! Congratulations on obtaining a dark gold artifact—emeralds wish!”

Ye Xingyu eagerly gripped the brand-new Emerald Longbow in his hand.

And checked its current attributes!

【emeralds wish!】

Part: Weapon—Bow

Quality: dark gold grade!

Level Requirement: Level 20

Attributes:

Physical Attack 676 ~ 707

Strength +26

Agility +34

User’s attack speed increased by 40%.

Hit rate increased by 15%

Additional Effects:

emeralds wish:

Passive: When attacking, there is a 50% chance to fire an additional arrow.

The additional arrow inherits 100% of the original attack power and damage, and can apply the same attack effects as before!

This passive effect does not consume additional arrows when triggered… “Whoosh—!”

After the emeralds wish was upgraded,

the new bow’s effects completely changed!

And it became extremely powerful!

Ye Xingyu, who was extremely familiar with bow-type weapons, could calculate at a glance.

The additional effect of “emeralds wish”

could increase his output by a full 50%!

This boost was too great!

Moreover, the additional arrows fired did not consume extra arrows.

This could save Ye Xingyu a lot of arrows.

The additional arrows could even inherit the original attack effects.

Taking Ye Xingyu’s current Piercing Arrow as an example,

the additional arrows could also inherit the Piercing Arrow’s attack effect of ignoring 30% physical defense.

It was really too cool! (✪ω✪)

This wave was a huge boost for Ye Xingyu!

It truly lived up to being a dark gold artifact, one grade higher than a gold artifact!

The additional effects were just strong!

Far better than the previous additional effects of the emeralds wish.

This was the value of SSS Talent!

So satisfying!

Ye Xingyu held the brand-new Level 20 dark gold bow in both hands, unable to put it down!

If only he wasn’t currently Level 17 and couldn’t equip a Level 20 item.

He wished he could immediately replace the golden hunter bow!

Just then,

a special system prompt sounded:

“Ding! Player Falling Nine Heavens has been detected to have obtained the first dark gold artifact on the entire server. The system will now issue a server-wide announcement. Do you wish to hide your name?”

“No.”

Ye Xingyu was already used to hearing such prompts.

He decisively denied it almost in the next second.

Just three seconds after he made his choice,

a world announcement, three times in a row and even louder,

then resounded in the ears of all players across the server:

“Ding! Heavenly Might Vast, World Announcement:

All players please note!

Xia Country player Falling Nine Heavens has obtained the first dark gold artifact on the entire server!

Becoming the first player in the world to own a dark gold artifact!

The system specially rewards 30,000 reputation points and 30,000 gold coins.

And immediately refreshes the Xia Country equipment ranking once!

This is hereby announced!” × 3

...The announcement was deafening.

It spread in all directions in one breath.

The billions of players who heard the announcement collectively froze for two seconds.

Then a collective burst of heated discussion erupted!

“My diu~! It’s Falling Nine Heavens again! It’s him again!”

“How many more world announcements does he have to trigger?”

“What did Falling Nine Heavens do this time? Let me hear.”

“Oh! So he got the first dark gold artifact on the entire server, that’s all, I thought it was something big.”

...“Brothers! By the way, I just looked at myself, and then at my brother, and my brother’s wife. I found that the highest grade equipment on all of us is only bronze!”

“I was terribly wrong, woo woo brothers (┯_┯) I am not qualified to mock the big shot’s dark gold artifact! Please, big shot, give me a leg to hug~ Even the third leg is fine (✪ω✪)”

“Ordinary people like me are too pitiful, woo woo woo woo >︿
