Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

A second rare item! A golden treasure chest in the wild! An encounter with an angel!”Tip: You can spend 100,000 gold coins to upgrade the quality of the Verdant Cloak to dark gold grade. Do you choose to upgrade?”

”Whoosh!”

Ye Xingyu chose to pay without hesitation.

”Ding! Equipment upgrade successful! Congratulations on obtaining the dark gold artifact — orange wind’s green!”

”orange wind’s green!”

Part: Accessory — Cloak

Quality: dark gold grade!

Level Requirement: Level 20

Attributes:

Physical Attack +125

Constitution +15

Agility +44

User’s movement speed increased by 25%.

Dodge rate increased by 18%.

Additional Effect:

Riding the Wind:

Passive: After entering combat, each attack accumulates 1 stack of Wind Force.

Each stack of Wind Force increases physical attack by 1, attack speed by 1, movement speed by 1, and physical critical hit rate by 1%.

When Wind Force stacks reach 50, physical attack increases by 300!

When Wind Force stacks reach 100, physical critical hit rate doubles! Any physical critical hit rate exceeding 100% will be proportionally converted into extra critical damage!

When Wind Force stacks reach 200, all skill cooldowns are reduced by 50%!

Wind Force can stack up to 200 layers, lasting until the end of combat... ”Whoa—!”

After glancing at the additional effects of the new dark gold grade cloak.

Ye Xingyu immediately grinned.

This is the additional effect of a dark gold artifact!

It’s so much stronger than the previous gold-grade cloak!

With this cloak.

When he faces high-grade, high-level bosses again.

His sustained combat ability is almost invincible!

As long as the Wind Force effect is stacked to 200 layers.

He will transform into a superman!

Not only will his attacks always deal 100% critical damage.

But all skill cooldowns will also be reduced by 50%.

What kind of concept is this?

Ye Xingyu was already grinning in anticipation (º ﹃ º)

As expected of a dark gold grade cloak!

It’s just awesome!

He joyfully put away the cloak.

When he reaches level 20.

A world-shattering change will surely occur!

However, since ”orange wind’s green” was the second dark gold artifact on the entire server.

It did not trigger a world announcement.

Of course, that didn’t matter.

Ye Xingyu continued to check the remaining items... After a busy session.

Ye Xingyu found 3 silver artifacts and 5 bronze artifacts, a rich harvest!

As well as several types of silver grade and above recovery potions.

Three thousand gold coins!

Finally, he also obtained 5 rhomboid crystal tubes with viscous green liquid flowing inside!

”Superior Agility Essence”

Item Category: Special Forging and Enchanting Material.

Quality: gold-grade.

Effect: This material can be used for forging or enchanting equipment.

Adding an appropriate amount of this material in relevant crafts will significantly boost the equipment’s agility.

Description: Boss drop only!

...This ”Superior Agility Essence” is just like the ”Superior Strength Essence” he obtained before.

Only gold-grade bosses drop it.

It’s absolutely a good thing!

Ye Xingyu happily put away all the items.

Ready to continue his journey.

Just then.

An unexpected situation occurred.

A brilliant golden light faintly emerged from a low bush ahead!

It was flickering in and out of view.

”Could there be something good hidden here!?”

Ye Xingyu stood behind where the boss had fallen.

From his direction.

He could just see the golden light emanating from the bush.

So, he was suspicious, and walked over to push aside the bush.

”Whoa—!”

The green bush was parted.

Immediately, a golden treasure chest was revealed!

”gold-grade Wild Treasure Chest!”

”From it, you might find weapons, equipment, skill books, hidden class transfer quest books! And gold coins, potions, enhancement stones, rare monster materials... and all sorts of good things!”

”And gold treasure chests have a 100% chance of dropping a gold-grade accessory! Much more valuable than bronze or silver treasure chests!”

A smile quickly appeared on Ye Xingyu’s face.

He hadn’t expected that besides the boss.

The nearby ground could also give him such a huge surprise!

As everyone knows.

Treasure chests can be found anywhere in the game.

And most of these treasure chests are not locked.

Anyone who encounters them can take the treasures within.

These are wild treasure chests.

Purely for giving players unexpected surprises.

”Quickly open it and see what’s inside!”

Ye Xingyu excitedly rubbed his hands.

Impatiently, he was about to open the treasure chest.

Just at this crucial moment.

A mighty roar suddenly came from the distant sky:

”Stop!”

”Put down that gold treasure chest!”

”Did I tell you to take it? Xia Countryman!”

”Stop it!!!”

”Hmm? ? ?”

Ye Xingyu was full of questions.

He couldn’t help but look up in the direction of the sound.

That’s when he noticed.

From a direction slightly to the left and behind.

A bird-man was flying rapidly in the high sky.

The bird-man was flying fast in mid-air, while angrily shouting.

A thought quickly flashed through Ye Xingyu’s mind:

”Could it be a bird-man from the neighboring Lighthouse Country?”

Looking at the appearance of the person in the sky.

A pair of thin, scrawny wings.

An ordinary human torso.

And in his hand, he held a Western sword resembling a thin branch.

The familiar appearance immediately reminded Ye Xingyu of

A classic hidden class in Western countries — the Angel!

Which is what the Xia Country people colloquially call bird-men!

After a mere two or three seconds.

The bird-man Ye Xingyu spoke of flew closer.

He hovered, stopping in the air about three meters above the ground.

After the bird-man arrived.

He immediately looked down at Ye Xingyu and said:

”Hmph hmph hmph ~ Xia Countryman, you’re quite sensible, aren’t you? I told you not to touch the treasure chest, and you didn’t.”

”Too bad being so obedient is useless, because I came here to kill you, hahahaha!!!”

”You are Falling Nine Heavens, right!?”

”Since you’re in front of my Lord Angel! Don’t pretend anymore!”

”The enemies of our Lighthouse Country are all powerful Xia Countrymen!”

”Prepare to receive the punishment of God and the Angels!”

”Foolish Xia Countrymen! You are forever destined to be trampled underfoot by the great Lighthouse!”

”Any country that dares to dream of surpassing the Lighthouse Country will only have one end — death!!!”

After speaking.

The Angel raised the sword in his hand towards Ye Xingyu.

Making a gesture as if to strike!

At the same time.

He also deliberately displayed his ID, level, and some sensitive information:

”ID: Angel Level 16 Hidden Class: Angel Country: Lighthouse Dungeon Points: 121244”

This person was currently the number one on the Lighthouse Country’s dungeon point leaderboard.

He was also currently the number one person in the Lighthouse Country.

The first person to become a hidden class — Angel!

His great name.

Was already known by all players worldwide.

Because he not only often ranked first on all Lighthouse Country leaderboards.

But also massacred a large number of Xia Country players in this large-scale cross-country multiplayer dungeon event.

Earning a huge amount of points.

Countless Xia Country players hated Angel to the bone.

Unfortunately.

No one was a match for Angel for now.

This also made him.

Even more arrogant.

He specifically targeted Ye Xingyu for a chase and kill!
