While doing a quest, I encountered an enhanced monster!Sure enough.

As expected.

Four tall, yellowish-brown figures, hearing the cry from moments ago, rushed over.

They were all bare-handed.

Their faces were completely hidden by a thick, long layer of beard and hair.

Making it impossible to see their features.

Their bodies were covered in crude clothing made from bark, leaves, and animal fur.

One after another, they roared and charged.

Ye Xingyu noticed they were spread in three directions.

So he quietly approached a lone Forest Savage from behind.

”Whoosh!”

Because it was one against many.

He chose to strike first!

An arrow, cutting through the air, flew from an incredibly tricky angle.

And pierced the back of the Forest Savage’s head!

”Awoo!!!”

-280 (Weakness Critical Hit!)

Due to the increase in Strength just now.

Ye Xingyu’s damage to the Forest Savage increased by another notch!

The Forest Savage, with an arrow in the back of his head,

Reached out with an extremely pained expression to pull out the arrow.

His pupils, looking at Ye Xingyu, were filled with deep red bloodshot lines.

”Roar!”

He let out an angry roar, immediately applying a buff to himself.

But Ye Xingyu’s second and third arrows immediately followed, piercing the Forest Savage’s left chest.

-280 (Critical Hit!)

The first Forest Savage to arrive in support fell with a thud—crashing to the ground.

”Hint: You killed a Forest Savage, gaining 72 experience points.”

”Roar!”

In just these two or three seconds.

The remaining three Forest Savages simultaneously discovered Ye Xingyu’s position.

Witnessing the death of one of their kind firsthand.

They all let out a deafening roar of fury.

Roar: Briefly increases self-attack by 25%, and simultaneously summons allies within 500m!

The three Forest Savages charged at Ye Xingyu from two directions!

Ye Xingyu calmly fired three arrows in succession.

”Whoosh!”

The three arrows each aimed at a Forest Savage’s knee!

Then all the Forest Savages let out a collective shriek!

They involuntarily clutched their injured right legs.

Their speed towards Ye Xingyu slowed significantly.

Ye Xingyu let out a confident sigh.

His archery skills, painstakingly practiced for so many years, were indeed not for show.

Precisely hitting everyone’s knees.

Actually, Forest Savages are extremely agile monsters.

If he had shot at their eyes.

The Forest Savages would have easily dodged.

But if the target was changed to their legs, used for running.

The situation would be different.

During their wild charge.

The Forest Savages could barely notice arrows flying towards their lower limbs.

Hence the current result.

Ye Xingyu struck while the iron was hot.

Continuously firing arrows at the three Forest Savages!

”Whoosh!”

...The cold arrows were like soul-reaping chains,

Hitting the Savages’ necks, throats, and hearts one after another!

-140

-280 (Critical Hit!)

...After a series of dazzling red numbers flew up.

The three Forest Savages whimpered and collapsed to the ground.

Ye Xingyu successfully shot and killed all four Forest Savages.

His experience points surged significantly!

Perhaps all the Forest Savages within 500m were already concentrated on the ground.

For a period of time.

No new Forest Savages appeared.

Ye Xingyu used this time to loot the enemies’ belongings.

Obtaining a few paltry copper coins.

But fortunately, every Forest Savage dropped a bone.

Allowing him to collect four quest items in one go.

Not bad at all!

Next.

Ye Xingyu continued deeper into the Dense Wood Forest.

Moving closer to the center of the forest.

Along the way, as expected, he encountered Forest Savages one after another.

Under Ye Xingyu’s exquisite archery skills.

An average of three to four arrows ended a Forest Savage’s life.

The process of collecting Savage Bones was very smooth.

Approximately 12 minutes later.

He had already gathered the required quest items.

His backpack was completely filled with 20 Forest Savage leg bones.

However, at this moment, Ye Xingyu was not in a hurry to return to Novice Village to turn in the quest.

Instead, he continued forward.

Because according to what he knew.

If he only followed Tu Qing’s request.

And gave him ordinary 20 Forest Savage bones.

Then he would only receive the teaching of an ordinary skill.

But if he gave Tu Qing higher quality monster bones.

He could also receive the teaching of a secret technique!

Secret techniques.

Were clearly more powerful than ordinary skills!

This was a hidden part of the skill quest.

If players were not careful enough.

They would very easily miss it.

Fortunately, Ye Xingyu had experience from his previous life.

Otherwise, he would have learned one less secret technique in Novice Village.

Ye Xingyu was determined to obtain this secret technique.

Therefore, he unhesitatingly ventured into the center of the forest... Suddenly.

The figures of two Forest Savages flashed behind a nearby bush.

Ye Xingyu immediately stopped moving.

Their appearance had changed significantly from ordinary Forest Savages.

One Forest Savage held a Great Club as thick as a bowl in his right hand.

The other Forest Savage held a crude Stone Axe in his hand.

New monsters had appeared!

”Great Club Savage”

Level 6

Monster Type: Enhanced!

Health: 1200 / 1200

Attack: 120 ~ 124

Physical Defense: 60

Skill:

Slam: After hitting a target with a heavy weapon, there is a 25% chance to stun the target for 2.5 seconds.

”Stone Axe Savage”

Level 7

Monster Type: Enhanced!

Health: 1055 / 1055

Attack: 150 ~ 158

Physical Defense: 52

Skill:

Heavy Chop: Enhances its next attack, dealing 200% physical damage to the enemy, and has a 70% chance to inflict a severely wounded status on the opponent.

Enemies in a severely wounded state have their movement speed reduced by 50% and lose 100 health per second... The two new types of Savages belonged to the Enhanced monster type.

Which was one tier higher than ordinary monsters in the monster classification!

Monster grades from low to high were divided into:

Ordinary, Enhanced, Elite, and Lord, a total of 4 types.

Every time they advanced a level.

Their attributes and strength underwent a qualitative change!

It could even be said that it was an exponential growth, which would not be an exaggeration.

For example, the Great Club Savage and Stone Axe Savage in front of him.

Compared to ordinary Savages.

Although their level only exceeded ordinary Forest Savages by one to two levels.

Their Attack, Health, and Defense all saw significant increases!

Their combat power was completely incomparable to that of ordinary Forest Savages.

And they also possessed more powerful skills!
