Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

The first player in the entire server to achieve a first-level class change! The first major event since the server launch is about to begin!Half an hour later.

Ye Xingyu successfully arrived in front of a row of white marble buildings.

The main entrance of the building, which was over a hundred meters long, had 10 exits.

Each door was incredibly wide.

The lintels above each door were carved with 10 different symbols: a sword, a spear, a battle axe, an Archer’s bow, a magic book, and so on.

These represented the 10 major professions.

This was Chunming City’s Class Change Hall!

It was foreseeable that, in the next 1 to 2 days, this place would quickly become the most bustling location in Chunming City.

However, because Ye Xingyu arrived early, it was still quiet and deserted, with no other players in sight.

Seeing this familiar building, Ye Xingyu, without a word, chose the door with the ’bow and arrow’ carved on its lintel and entered.

As soon as he stepped inside, he saw a beautiful woman with an excellent appearance and a slender figure standing in the center of the hall.

Archer Instructor Naweiya!

Her exquisite, crescent-shaped face, as beautiful as a flower and the moon, was veiled by a translucent black gauze.

This half-concealed and half-revealed her stunning face, which could topple kingdoms—

hidden behind a layer of mysterious, faint black mesh.

It made people itch with curiosity, longing to glimpse the true face behind the black mesh!

On either side of her pretty face were soft, pointed, slender ears.

Oh! An elf!

The Elf Archer Naweiya!

”Respected Naweiya, I have come admiring your reputation, an beginner who wishes to go further on the path of the Archer. May I ask if you can guide me in the right direction?”

Others didn’t know, but Ye Xingyu knew very clearly that Archer Instructor Naweiya was a Level 70, Fourth Advancement Archery Grandmaster!

She was an existence that no player could currently contend with.

If anyone dared to offend her, they would probably have their descendants wiped out by a single arrow!

Therefore, his attitude towards her was extremely respectful at the moment... The class change proceeded very smoothly.

After a pleasant exchange, Naweiya gently placed her slender hand, encased in a smooth black silk glove, on Ye Xingyu’s forehead—

”Om~~~~”

A flash of white light appeared, and countless experiences related to the Archer profession flooded into Ye Xingyu’s mind.

After a brief two seconds, a notification sound rang out:

”Ding! Player Falling Nine Heavens! Congratulations on your successful class change! You have officially become an Archer!”

”You have gained Archer skills taught by Archer Instructor Naweiya: Archer’s Focus, Arrow Rain, Light Wind Technique, Hundred Paces Piercing Willow!”

”Ding! Player Falling Nine Heavens! As you are the first player on the entire server to successfully complete a class change, the system will now issue a server-wide announcement. Do you wish to hide your name?”

”No.”

Immediately following this, an incredibly loud system announcement instantly spread across the world:

”Ding! Heavenly Might Vast, Server-wide Announcement:

All players, please note! Player Falling Nine Heavens has successfully changed class to Archer, becoming the first player on the entire server to successfully complete a class change!

”Ding! ...” x 3

It rang out three times in a row.

This incredibly astonishing news caused billions of players worldwide to involuntarily stop what they were doing.

Some even got distracted and were killed by nearby monsters.

Countless players couldn’t help but wail:

”Ah! It’s Falling Nine Heavens again? He was the first to get gold equipment, and he’s the first to change class too? His luck is too good!”

”This further proves the value of gold equipment. Getting gold equipment definitely allows you to level up first.”

”Damn Falling Nine Heavens! Why him and not me!”

”Falling Nine Heavens, truly bringing glory to us people of Xia Country. This is the second server-wide announcement.”

”Awesome!”

...”Did you all see? Who said our Archer’s level up slowly? Come out! The first class to advance in the entire world was an Archer, alright! You trash Swordsmen immediately kowtow and admit your mistake!”

...”Ah ah ah ah ah!!!! baka yarou! How did the first global class change get snatched by those hateful Xia Country people again!?”

”Our Little Sun Country Empire’s ninjas must work hard! You absolutely cannot lose to those inferior Xia Country people!”

”We cannot let those damned Xia Country people take the lead again! They will kill us! Unforgivable!!!!”

...”Asibale! This must be fake! How could the first global class change not be one of our Dabang people? That system announcement just now was fake, I don’t believe it.”

...Players from all over the world were a mix of joy and worry.

Ye Xingyu’s class change stimulated countless people.

However, before everyone had fully recovered, another sudden system announcement instantly echoed across the world:

”Ding! Heavenly Might Vast, Auspiciousness Fills Heaven and Earth!

...”My heavens! The first event dungeon in deep space is opening!”

”Experience gain doubled! Equipment drop rate doubled! Gold coin drop rate doubled! My heavens! Is this dungeon’s name perhaps Paradise!?”

”Ah ah ah ah ah!!!! I need to quickly level up to 10 and change class! I absolutely cannot miss this event dungeon!!!!”

”The dungeon is limited-time, after 48 hours, it might disappear completely. Ah ah ah ah! Charge, brothers!!”

”Hurry up and level up! Don’t miss the event dungeon.”

”Wuwuwuwu... Who can carry this sweet girl... Monsters are so hard to deal with.”

...”Yosh! Our Little Sun Country Empire definitely needs an event like this! This time, to use the words of our neighbors, the Xia Country people, it’s like sending charcoal in snowy weather.”

”Use this event to surpass the Xia Country people next door in one fell swoop! Don’t let them rise again!”

”One hundred million warriors apply to fight!”

”I swear that if I cannot lead the subjects of the Little Sun Country Empire to kill all Xia Country players, I will commit seppuku!”

”Yosh! Hinokawa-kun, what great ambition, well done! I reward you with a Kawakami Ayaka! Please be sure to return victorious!”

...”Finally, a good event has appeared, semnida!!”

”This is a great opportunity to show the world the Dabang people, semnida!!!”

”No one in the world can be more united and diligent than the Dabang people, semnida!! Let’s go, semnida!”

...Upon hearing this system announcement, even Ye Xingyu couldn’t help but pause, then faintly smile.

Too much time had passed; he had already forgotten.

Indeed, the first large-scale event in the deep space server occurred not long after the first player to complete a First Advancement appeared.

This dungeon offered many benefits, but also immense survival pressure!

More importantly, the event dungeon was common to players worldwide!

Not only players from Xia Country, but also players from other countries would enter.

Therefore, various unexpected situations were bound to occur in the dungeon!

Even Ye Xingyu had to prepare well!

There were still a full 12 hours until the dungeon opened.

There was plenty of time.
