The World's Richest Man: Start with the Daily Intelligence System

150: Chapter 150 Returning to My Hometown”What do we do? We’re finished,” said the third brother, gripping the crowbar tightly and pointing it at the crowd. He was already wondering what posture he’d adopt when operating the sewing machine.

”Don’t be afraid! You cover me. As long as we prove our goods are hidden in room 204, then *they’re* the ones in trouble,” the older brother, knowing he had no way out, swung the tool in his hand and smashed it against the room’s electronic lock.

”Captain, are these curry people possessed by ghosts? Ignoring us is one thing, but what are they doing smashing the door?” a new security guard asked, baffled.

”Who cares? The manager has already called the police. As long as they don’t run away, it doesn’t matter if they tear the building down. Let me tell you, curry people carry a lot of viruses. Avoid contact if you can, keep your distance. Otherwise, you might end up with cauliflower growing on your head.”

It must be said, the warehouse door was really sturdy. Under the watchful eyes of the security guards, the brother smashed away for over half an hour. The lock looked like it was about to give way, but stubbornly refused to break open.

Finally, the police arrived on the scene. Hearing from the person who reported the incident that it involved foreigners from the curry region, they didn’t dare be negligent and brought three police vans worth of officers.

The lead officer arrived, took in the bizarre scene, and was dumbfounded. A group of security guards surrounding two brothers smashing a door—the scene was too surreal.

After processing it for a long moment, he asked uncertainly, ”Do they owe you rent? But you can’t force them into hard labor reform.”

”Officer, you’ve misunderstood. We’re not forcing them to work,” the security captain also found it absurd and explained the situation to the officer with a bitter smile.

”So, after watching the surveillance footage, they just started smashing the door?” The officer completely failed to understand the thought process of these two, but he still stepped forward and said loudly, ”We’ve received a report from the public that you two are damaging company property here. Please put down your weapons immediately! Cease your illegal actions!”

Seeing the police arrive, the brothers instead redoubled their efforts smashing the door. The younger brother looked utterly desperate, wildly waving the crowbar in his hand to keep everyone at bay.

”Is there another exit from room 204?” the officer asked quietly, leaning close to the security captain. His first thought was that these two wanted to break the door open to escape through another exit.

”No, there isn’t. There’s not even a window inside. The only ventilation opening is smaller than a fist,” the security guard shook his head, bewildered.

It seemed they wanted to retreat into the room and resist to the end.

Taking out the tear gas canister from his belt: ”First warning! Please cooperate with the police.”

The brothers were unmoved.

”Second warning! Please cooperate, or we will be forced to take action!”

The brothers swung their crowbars even more vigorously. Accompanied by steaming sweat, a terrifying, strange odor filled the entire corridor.

”Third... damn it, that stench is killing me. Apprehend them directly!”

Several officers pinched their noses and rushed forward.

At that moment, with a loud *clang!*, the door to room 204 was finally smashed open by the brothers.

The older brother threw aside his tool and laughed heartily: ”The despicable Chinese stole our goods. But curry people, full of wisdom, are not so easily deceived.” Saying this, he pushed the inner door wide open.

He looked inside room 204 with eager anticipation. Indeed, it was filled with goods. However, judging by the packaging, they were stacks of plastic bags with the words ’XX Brand Women’s Underwear’ printed on them.

For a moment, everyone was stunned. These two brothers desperately smashed the door open just for women’s underwear inside?

”Impossible? It should be drones!” The brother stared at the room filled with various women’s underwear, his whole being feeling unwell.

”Take them all down!” The officer didn’t care about their thoughts. At his command, they were pinned firmly to the ground.

”Ugh! So disgusting,” a young security guard spat. ”Earlier, when I was on duty at the guardhouse, these two curry country people came in and looked at me weirdly. I never thought they were actually perverts.”

”I think they might not have been looking at you, but at Wangcai in the guardhouse. After all... you know,” another security guard said while shuddering.

”Stop, I’m going to vomit. Quickly disinfect everywhere these two have been,” the property manager dry-heaved from behind.

With the two taken away, this farce finally came to an end. As for the police later discovering close connections between the two and a terrorist organization on their phones, that’s another story.

The industrial park returned to quiet. No one knew that between rooms 204 and 206, a room full of drones sat quietly piled up inside room 205.

”So when are you planning to move this batch of drones?” An Xiaoxi asked, sitting in the back seat of the NIO and sucking on a lollipop.

”No hurry on that matter. Since it involves terrorists, it’s best to be cautious in everything,” Zhang Wei said, skillfully completing an overtake before continuing, ”By the way, are you nervous about meeting my parents for the first time?”

An Xiaoxi felt a bit shy, but still said stubbornly, ”I’m not nervous at all. A cute girl like me is loved wherever she goes.”

At that moment, Zhang Wei was driving the car speeding down the expressway towards Anhui Province. In the distance behind, two trucks could still faintly be seen following.

Besides An Xiaoxi, Zhang Hong and Wang Sheng had also returned with him. After several months of growth, the strawberries planted in the greenhouse had finally welcomed their first harvest.

Zhang Wei had originally thought about having Liu Haorui livestream to sell the strawberries. But now, with his family’s growing business, he didn’t care much for those small potatoes. Besides, these were top-grade varieties from the Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

So, Zhang Wei decided to transport the strawberries back to his hometown, give some to relatives and friends, and sell the rest in his mother’s fruit shop.

After all, apart from a few bad relatives, others had helped a lot when his father was sick. This could be considered a token of his appreciation.

”Bro, the strawberries will grow another batch after we pick them. But the watermelons are about to ripen soon. After we harvest them, what should we plant next?” Zhang Hong, unable to decide, asked Zhang Wei.

After thinking for a moment: ”Next, we’ll plant some vegetables and fruits. I’ll contact Dai Zhicheng later. Lease all 200-plus acres of land from the Instrument Factory. Find more of your comrades-in-arms to come over. Later, we’ll establish a green planting base. Strive to build up a fruit and vegetable brand.”

Anyway, the Instrument Factory’s land wasn’t expensive. Taking it all and converting it into greenhouses would cost at most three million. Besides selling the produce later, it could also provide the whole family with a steady supply of fruits and vegetables. Pesticide-free, high-quality varieties are safer to eat.

Considering that Star Jewelry was about to hold a press conference in Hainan soon, Zhang Wei could only make a quick trip back this time.

After over four hours on the road, the trucks behind were now completely out of sight. Zhang Wei didn’t wait for them and took the exit off the expressway.

A Mercedes-Benz SUV was parked at the toll booth exit. Liu Haorui leaned against the car door with a show-off attitude. Even as passing cars kicked up dust, he remained motionless.

”Alright, enough showing off your new car,” Zhang Wei said, somewhat annoyed.

This guy had gone home with Wang Xiaohua two days early to meet her parents. Before leaving, to show off, he bought a new car outright in full payment. Seems he still hadn’t had his fill of bragging.
