The World's Richest Man: Start with the Daily Intelligence System

111: Chapter 111 Returning to Tang Sheng CultureAt this moment, Tang Liansheng’s secretary rushed in from the door: ”Chairman! The lead singer of the Pulsating Youth Group just contacted his agent and threatened to start a live broadcast to report the company if we don’t give an explanation!”

Tang Liansheng was furious upon hearing this, slapping Tang Zhiyuan across the face as if slaps were free.

”You actually laid hands on a debuted artist?” The Pulsating Youth Group was the boy band Tang Sheng Culture had heavily promoted over the past two years, and they were currently at the peak of their popularity.

At this moment, Tang Xijun realized something serious had happened. She quietly took out her phone and saw over a dozen missed calls. She opened WeChat and sent a message to her secretary. Before long, she received a link.

Tang Xijun clicked on it and almost cried out. There wasn’t a single second of footage in the video that could be broadcast on television. Most of the victims were boys around fifteen or sixteen years old, and the footage even included several currently popular young idols.

Big Brother is going to lose a layer of skin this time, if not his life. Tang Xijun secretly rejoiced. She had been at a disadvantage in the competition, but she never expected Big Brother to hand her such an opportunity.

Tang Liansheng was tired of hitting him and kicked Tang Zhiyuan away: ”Uncle Fu, lock this brat up in the room upstairs. He is not allowed to step out without my permission!” He watched as Tang Zhiyuan was dragged out of the study, scrambling and crawling.

The Old Master then spoke to the secretary: ”Notify every agent to soothe the emotions of the artists they are responsible for. We will have a video conference in half an hour.”

The Old Master’s anger had subsided considerably by then. After some thought, he realized this was still his own flesh and blood, and he couldn’t completely abandon him. He quickly called the top golden lawyer his company partnered with.

He hadn’t expected such a major incident to occur. The other party was already waiting on the other end of the line.

”Old Master Tang, don’t worry, leave this matter to me. According to the Criminal Law of Huaguo, only forcing sexual relations with a female constitutes the crime of rape. For a situation like Young Master Tang’s, at most it will be classified as compulsory molestation, with a maximum sentence of five years. If handled properly, the best outcome could be a settlement without jail time. Therefore, the immediate priority is to appease the victims. Leave the rest of the operations to me.”

Hearing that there was no need for a prison sentence, the Old Master also breathed a sigh of relief. After hanging up, he called several influential figures in Beijing, severely reprimanding Tang Zhiyuan in his words.

At this time, the secretary turned on the projector, and the image of the company’s main conference room quickly appeared. All the executives of Tang Sheng Culture were gathered there, whispering amongst themselves.

”Quiet! The sky hasn’t fallen yet,” the Old Master roared angrily, and the entire room immediately fell silent.

”I will now announce several things. First, I have already coordinated with Social Media Platform and several other media outlets. The company’s publicity department will fully cooperate after this meeting to eliminate the negative influence online.

Second, Tang Zhiyuan is dismissed from his position as Deputy General Manager. All matters previously under his purview will temporarily report directly to me.

Third, artists and agents involved in this incident within the company need soothing, and the legal department will negotiate compensation matters later. For those currently filming a movie or TV series, substitute roles will be arranged. We must handle this with a low profile.”

Saying this, Tang Liansheng looked at everyone: ”Does anyone have a different opinion?”

All the senior executives remained silent. Tang Liansheng had managed the company for so many years, and he certainly never relied on being gentle and refined. Anyone who dared to jump out at this moment would not know how they were going to die.

Seeing that no one objected, Tang Liansheng nodded. Then, as if suddenly remembering something, he added: ”Also, I have some good news to share with everyone. Zhou Shen Shen has decided to sign with our Tang Sheng Culture.”

All the executives were stunned upon hearing this. They hadn’t expected to hear good news today. This was the ceiling among singers.

Tang Liansheng’s tone softened as he addressed Tang Yi: ”From now on, all the company’s music-related business will be handled by you. Are you confident?”

Tang Yi never expected happiness to arrive so suddenly. He thought that today would be considered a success just by finalizing the identity of Zhou Shen Shen’s agent. After all, since he had ruined several projects before, the Old Master could easily find another senior executive to take the credit. But not only was his goal achieved, he even gained the title of Music Director, which made him ecstatic.

”Chairman, don’t worry, I will do my utmost to perform my duties well.”

The Old Master gave a noncommittal hum: ”Your main task is to ensure that your older brother’s incident does not affect the signing. You must explain things clearly to Zhou Shen Shen. This matter can be used to divert public attention.”

Tang Yi quickly nodded in agreement.

”That’s all for now. The company will definitely not be peaceful recently, so everyone needs to be attentive.” After the Old Master finished speaking, he ended the video conference.

Tang Xijun said with a smile from the side: ”Xiao Yi, congratulations on being able to return to the company again. But make sure to grasp this opportunity well this time, don’t be careless like before.”

Tang Yi put on an act of deep sibling affection: ”Second Sister still cares about me the most. But I am just taking care of things for Big Brother temporarily. When he returns, he will definitely take back control.”

The Old Master snorted coldly upon hearing this: ”Don’t mention that beast in front of me. Are you two too idle? Hurry up and attend to your proper business.”

The two quickly left the study. Tang Yi rushed towards the company; he needed to take control of everything in the music department as quickly as possible during Big Brother’s absence.

On the way, he called Mao Liangliang, informing him to come to the company to sign the employment agreement and promising to make him the designated composer for Zhou Shen Shen.

Mao Liangliang, a composer whose talent was already evident before he even graduated, could not be described as anything less than a genius. He definitely needed to be recruited early.

Mao Liangliang had seen the news today and was worried that there might be changes at Tang Sheng Culture. He never expected to be able to write songs directly for Teacher Zhou. He kept speaking highly of Tang Yi.

Tang Yi also promised a song acquisition fee of 300,000 yuan. He ended the call amidst the other party’s endless thanks.

Upon arriving downstairs at the company, he called Zhou Shen Shen. After a round of explanations, since Zhou Shen Shen was already cooperating with Tang Yi’s side, there was no change in his plans. Tang Yi promised to negotiate the breach of contract fee with Huaxia Film and Television as soon as possible, which greatly reassured Zhou Shen Shen.

Putting aside the matter of how Tang Yi was taking over the music department of Tang Sheng Culture, Zhang Wei was also very busy at this time.

He was currently chasing Nut all over the room, holding a feather duster in his hand.

Zhang Wei returned to Jiangnan Garden today feeling completely drained. He just wanted to sleep in comfortably in bed. But after an hour, he realized his body was soaking wet. When he opened his eyes, he saw Nut standing on his bed, one hind leg cocked high, dripping continuously.

Zhang Wei was stunned for a moment, then instantly exploded in rage: ”Dog, are you tired of living?!”

And so, this led to the scene at the beginning.

An Xiaoxi sat in front of her desk, typing rapidly on the keyboard, not forgetting to tease him: ”Who told you not to close your door properly when sleeping? The dog is marking its territory. I heard this is an honor reserved only for those with a particularly close relationship~.”

”Should I thank it then? How about I give it a bath with boiling water, then it will smell fragrant,” Zhang Wei said irritably.
