The Evolution of the Weakest Ghoul

Chapter 74: Chapter 74: Pigs Butt

Hesa seemed to realize that she had asked something deeper than she had imagined. With her back facing Yen, she didn’t know what kind of expression Yen had.

”If you can’t say it, I und—” Hesa spoke, but Yen cut her off.

”No, it’s fine. We are all a team. It’s best to know each other.” Yen smiled as she spoke, then continued washing Hesa’s back.

”Ah... let me wash your back this time.” Hesa offered.

”Okay.” Yen agreed as she turned around, and Hesa started washing her back.

”Everything started from when we were young...” Yen began as Hesa listened attentively.

The more Hesa listened, the more her emotions were riled up.

Really?

How dare Bama do such a thing?

She had also heard of Bama and his unlawful ways. He acted based on his impulses and didn’t care what others thought or what they would do about it.

After all, he was the Duke’s son. Except for the Royal Family, no one else could touch him.

Even Hesa had only been able to escape because she was a friend of his elder sister—the monster was said to be even more terrifying than her elder brother.

But then Hesa couldn’t help but smile when she heard about Yen’s interactions with Ronan, then she was stunned by their bravery.

They, two undead, dared to play in humans’ faces in human territory.

Especially Ronan.

Whoever he was, he was that brave...

Or simply foolish.

Hesa was leaning toward the latter.

At the end, Hesa let out a heavy sigh.

”I am really sorry about the loss of your sister.” Hesa said as Yen shook her head.

”It’s fine. At least the Duke Family is already paying for it. Once I am strong enough, I will pay them a visit, and both them and the Destal Kingdom will be wiped off the surface of this world.” Yen said coldly as Hesa nodded.

She too hated the nobles’ dark ways, but what could she do?

This world was corrupt...

Or, to lay it out better...

This was a world where people wouldn’t hesitate to stab one another in the back as long as it favored them.

This world respected power, and that was why Bama could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.

”How about you...? What is your story?” Yen asked as Hesa hesitated for a while before speaking.

”I actually grew up as an orphan, cast aside as a bastard child of a renowned noble house. I was promised a way to return back, but sadly, it never happened as my parents died. So Jani, the second daughter of the Duke Family, helped me into the military.” Hesa spoke as Yen frowned.

Having Hesa somewhat related to the Duke Family was annoying but...

At least she was not the bastard of the Duke Family, so there was no issue.

But it just seemed like she owed Jani a favor...

Does that mean in the future, for Jani, Hesa will stop her?

”No, it is not what you think. I will support you, and Jani will after hearing what her brother did. You see, she is different. Yes, she loves her family, but she hated their corrupt ways. That was the same reason she didn’t hesitate to leave.” Hesa explained as Yen’s expression changed.

”Wait, you said she left?” Yen asked.

”Yes.” Hesa replied.

”But isn’t she at the Royal Academy?” Yen asked with doubt as Hesa laughed slightly.

”Yes, but that is but a replacement. Think of it like a doll. The real Jani had left for close to two years now. She is in a middle-level continent...” Hesa explained.

”I see... Then I guess till then, right?” Yen asked as Hesa smiled.

”Till then.” Hesa replied as she felt a warm embrace as Yen hugged her and whispered.

”Thank you.”

Elsewhere.....

Drip!

Drip!

At this moment, in a large open ground, corpses of undead creatures could be seen, and each of them was at the King Realm.

They were Vampire Lords who had been brutally murdered, and the one who killed them was none other than a brown-haired maiden whose fists were dripping with blood.

”Ma’am.”

Just then, a King Realm female soldier landed on the battlefield, her heart racing as she looked at Jani in horror and at the corpses of King Realm Vampire Lords littering the ground.

Worse, she could see a barely breathing Supreme Realm Vampire Lord under her feet.

”News... News came from your family, by one named Selak...” the female suddenly said as the brown-haired woman in a battle suit’s expression changed when she heard this.

This was Jani, who had spent two years in the middle-level continent.

She turned and looked at the female.

”Speak.” Jani said slowly as the female trembled.

”...He... he said... your father had been killed.”

Silence...

”Is that all?” Jani asked after a moment of silence.

The female felt her heart was in her throat.

”That was what he could say before he died from his injuries.” She struggled to say as Jani closed her eyes.

Then she turned to the dying Supreme Realm Vampire Lord as her right eye burned with a green flame.

The flame exploded and wrapped around her arm as she punched through the chest of the Supreme Realm Vampire Lord, extinguishing his soul and killing him immediately.

Meanwhile, Ronan was finally freed, and he almost shed tears.

He felt miserable.

After their small talk about their pasts, the two women seemed to have grown closer as they played in the water.

How cruel.

But at least Ronan had learned a thing or two about Hesa.

Plus, the reason she had allowed them to go was simply to capture them for the Destal Kingdom. Before doing so, however, she wanted to learn a few things about the Abyss. After all, her father was said to have had one or two connections with the Abyss.

It was one of the reasons he had been killed.

He had been labeled a traitor, so Hesa had hoped to learn a bit about the Abyss from the two undead before handing them over to the Destal Kingdom.

”Why does your face look like that?”

As she freed Ronan, Hesa couldn’t help but ask.

”Yes, Master... your face looks like the butt of a pig.”

Yen muttered seriously.

Ronan’s face twitched.

He wanted to cry.

Oh, my poor Yen...

Hesa had poisoned your mind.

How dare you call your master’s handsome face a pig’s butt?

But seeing how serious Yen looked, Ronan froze.

Could it be...

His face was...

Already at the peak of the Transcendent Realm, Ronan was no different from a human now.

He could bet he would be handsome.

But because they were starving, Ronan, Yen, and Hesa had all become painfully thin, with their pale skin, crimson eyes, fangs, and claws still visible.

Ronan felt hurt as his tiny heart trembled.

Seeing Ronan like this, Hesa and Yen laughed, while Ronan could only give them a bitter smile.

Even in this state, the two women were beautiful.

Their pale skin looked even more alluring after their bath.

Yet...

It seemed he looked like a pig-faced monster.

Fuck.
