The Evolution of the Weakest Ghoul

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: You are also an undead

Ronan entered the cave and found Hesa and Yen locked together.

”Hey, hey... break it up.”

Seeing the pained expression on Yen’s face, Ronan couldn’t help but speak.

At that moment, Yen’s head was trapped between Hesa’s thighs as the two women seemed to have gotten into another brawl.

Seeing Ronan, Hesa finally stopped and released Yen.

Yen immediately stood up, gritting her teeth.

Ronan was curious as he looked at the new Hesa.

She still had normal human skin, but her crimson eyes and four sharp fangs revealed her new identity.

And she was incredibly beautiful.

If Yen had previously been the most beautiful woman Ronan had ever seen, Hesa was now a serious contender.

Unlike Yen’s long dark hair and brown eyes, Hesa’s hair had transformed into long, pristine white hair.

Ronan’s heart skipped a few beats.

But he nearly had a heart attack when he looked at her stats.

Bat Transformation Lv.1:

The bats can eventually reunite and reconstruct the host’s original body.

Echolocation Lv.1:

The host emits high-frequency sound waves that bounce off surrounding surfaces and return, allowing her to perceive her surroundings through reflected sound.

Unlike ordinary vision, echolocation is unaffected by darkness and can detect objects even when normal vision is obstructed

Effective Range: 500 meters.

Fucking hell...

Ronan felt goosebumps spread across his body.

Hesa had survived.

And just as Ronan had predicted...

She had become a monster.

Individually, her traits and abilities were already powerful.

But together...

They were terrifying.

”Hesa.”

Ronan called out.

The two women, who had seemingly been ready to start fighting again, immediately stopped as Hesa turned toward him.

Hesa didn’t understand what was happening.

Ever since she had awakened, she had felt something strange.

A terrifying energy was flowing through her veins.

It was only when she saw Yen that she understood.

She and Yen were the same.

Which meant...

She was an undead.

She couldn’t believe it.

Had she really become one?

But strangely enough, when Ronan told her to stop earlier, she had felt an inexplicable urge to obey.

And now, she found herself obeying him again.

What exactly had they done to her body?

”You are now one of us.”

”I should say congratulations on your breakthrough to the Sovereign Realm, my silly vampire.”

Ronan teased her with a wild smile.

Hesa’s expression immediately changed.

At this moment, Ronan was feeling incredibly satisfied.

Only now did he realize that he, Hesa, and Yen seemed to be connected by an invisible thread.

That was what made them his Blood Servants.

And just like the slave collar, if Ronan died, they would be affected as well.

Every vampire Ronan had turned would die if he died.

That was the disgusting trade-off and the reason vampires below the Vampire Lord Rank were forbidden from biting and transforming others.

They would create hybrids who would eventually die if their creator died.

But Ronan had escaped from the Abyss and hadn’t followed the normal path.

How was he supposed to know about all of this?

Still, these invisible threads gave Ronan control over Yen and Hesa.

His once-racing heart finally began to calm down.

”So you really did turn me into an undead...”

Hesa spoke calmly.

Ronan’s heart suddenly skipped a beat again.

But then he remembered that he could actually control them, and he relaxed.

Besides, Yen was here.

Sure, she had just been beaten up by Hesa, but the difference between them couldn’t be that great...

Right?

Fuck.

You literally just watched Yen get manhandled.

”Erm... Hesa, can you calm down?”

Just as Ronan finished speaking, a crimson-eyed face suddenly appeared only millimeters away from his own.

Ronan’s heart nearly stopped.

If he could sweat, a cold drop would have probably rolled down his face.

Beside them, Yen stretched out her hands as though she wanted to intervene.

But then she stopped.

She simply stared at the scene unfolding before her.

”What...”

”What is this?”

Hesa gritted her teeth.

She was devastated when she realized she had been turned into an undead.

And by this pale, white-haired being, no less.

She had attacked him because, at the very least, she wanted to turn Ronan’s body into a blood mist.

Yet, when she was only millimeters away from him...

Her body had suddenly stopped.

No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t move.

Which meant...

She couldn’t attack Ronan.

”Fuck... that was close.”

Ronan struggled to breathe for a moment before finally calming down.

He took a step backward and frowned.

”You are now my Blood Servant.”

”Attacking me is out of the question.”

”Besides, if we hadn’t done anything, you would already be dead.”

”You should be grateful—”

Ronan was cut off by a sharp female voice.

”Grateful?”

”You ruined my life.”

”If I could attack you, I would have ripped your lungs out through your throat and fed them to the birds.”

Hesa spoke coldly.

”Whoa, whoa, whoa...”

”I’m flattered.”

”But seriously, you were going to die.”

Ronan spoke.

”Then let me die.”

”I would rather die than become an undead.”

Hesa replied.

Ronan’s face twitched.

Yeah, Ronan could understand her anger toward him for turning her into an undead.

But come on...

Why was she saying she would rather die than become an undead?

Ronan couldn’t help but feel a chill.

Only someone who had died twice could truly understand the horrors of death.

It seemed he needed to teach Hesa a few things.

He was an experienced player, after all...

One who knew just how horrible death could be.

”Enough.”

”Master did save your life.”

”Stop with the facade. If you don’t want his help, then fuck off.”

Yen waved her hand as she spoke.

Ever since Hesa had overwhelmed her during their fight, Yen had felt somewhat uncomfortable.

It made her feel as though her first victory over Hesa had been... unfair.

Now that the two of them were at the same Realm, it seemed...

She was the weaker one?

”That...”

”I will do.”

”I promise you, the kingdom will have your body displayed on its walls, sunbathing before noon.”

Hesa had already begun walking toward the cave exit as she spoke.

But Ronan suddenly smiled.

”Miss Hesa...”

”Are you forgetting something?”

Ronan asked.

Hesa frowned.

What was she forgetting?

Were these two playing with her head?

What was he talking about now?

”You are also an undead.”

Ronan finished as Hesa’s mind went completely blank.
