ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「Uwooohhh!!!」

「Wha the, what the, what the hell……!?」

「Is this supposed to be Medjed or what……!?」

Excuse me, coming through! I’m an urban legend of Thirdrema, a white cloth ghost in the flesh!

And then I start running forward while jumping from roof to roof all over Thirdrema. And I can even hear astonished voices coming from down below. However, I am busy at the moment, so I can’t really stop and appreciate all of my fans down there.

And I know that I said it before, but damn is that Princess fast! No, seriously, what the hell is wrong with that speed of hers? Could it really be possible for a non-combat oriented NPC to move so fast? Am I even going to be able to catch up? I don’t really want to use any of my acceleration skills here, but when I’m running at full speed it feels as though I’m unable to shorten the distance at all!

Rather, it seems that at this rate Allslot, who’s been chasing after the Princess as well, is going to be left behind. However, it would also be a problem if he was to catch up to her right now at this very moment. For the time being I was able to guide them towards the main street of Thirdrema that lead towards the castle, but there is still quite a bit of a distance before we can actually get there……but if we go any further away, we will eventually lose Allslot.

「Now, why am I even worried that the fleeing side managing to lose the chasing side in the first place……?」

Does that mean that Emul managed to do his job well? I mean, just to be on the safe side I gave him some of my MP Recovering potions, so things should be fine on his end…… I want to believe that everything went smoothly and that nothing bad happened…… So maybe I shouldn’t be too surprised when he will arrive here soon.

But if that’s so, does that mean that I should maybe run around the block some more and wait?

Thirdrema has a structure modeled after three layers: the one in which the Grand Duke’s castle is located, the one in which the upper class lives and the one in which the commoners live. So it would something like watching a multi-leveled cake from up above.

Originally my plan was to lead those guys towards the upper layer of the city and the castle, but thinking about that again, it’s really hard to assume that Allslot is going to be so stupid to just waltz in there like it’s no big deal for him.

「So this means that if the battle was to take place somewhere, it would be in front of the gate connecting the middle level to the upper level……!!」

And hey, look at that! While I’m being at it, let’s make about three and a half turn in the air!!!

…

………

……………

It just so happens that only the players who received permission from the Grand Duke of Thirdrema himself can enter the third layer and go out as they please. In other words, for players who do not have or do not intend to have a permission to enter, the Great Gate of Thirdrema is nothing more but a fancy landmark in from of which you could get a commemorative screenshot.

And since the Great Gate is always so scarcely populated, it was no problem for a mysterious entity in white sheet to land right in front of it. On a side note, seeing how bursting with life the rest of the city was, this sight right here was almost eerie in comparison. But oh well, that’s just how it is, I guess.

「Now then……」

「Oh my! My, my, my, oh my, oh my, oh my!!! Who would have thought that the ghost in the white cloth still existed in Thirdrema! Could it be that it is a fairy? Do you understand human language?」

「I! UNDERSTAND! SHIRO! HUMAN! LANGUAGE! SPEAK! SOMEWHAT! DECENT! (spoken in falsetto)」

「My, oh my!」

「BUT! I! CANNOT! STAY! AND! CHAT! THIS! FAIRY! NEEDS! TO! GO! PLACES! TO! BE! WORK! TO! BE! DONE! …… UNTIL! NEXT! TIME! (spoken in falsetto)」

Dreams should remain as dreams, yes! It’s time for some much needed Disappearance Magic that makes full use of the nature of inventory and item objects……!!

If I remove my current equipment and place is as an object on the spot, and then move everything else into the INVENTORY space, it should create an illusion on the spot that the white sheet remained here, just like a vestige or a ghost that people were all taking it for.

Now to just re-equip the usual equipment and……

「Alright, and now to push!」

「Oh goodness gracious~. Mister Fairy has become an entirely different person?」

「It seems that this urban legend possesses some strange powers as well. In one moment I was minding my own business, and now I have found myself here of all places. It seems that we have switched places.」

「Hmm, I don’t really get it, but is that so? Ahh, I see~.」

It’s nothing bad if you do not understand it. Besides, it won’t take long in here…… Now let’s just hope that the Princess shall arrive in here soon……

「Yo!」

「You are … Sanraku !!」

「How does it feel to be a lapdog of the current government? Is it comfortable? But who would have thought that they would send chumps like you to Thirdrema? They must be really desperate.」

「Where did you even heard……!? Or wait…… Are you here to stop us!? Were you instructed to do so!?」

「Ah, you know? A little bird happened to chirp it to me while I was taking a stroll through the city.」

THUMP! All of a sudden, Allslot looked as if all strength managed to leave his body. I mean, dude, come on! Were you really so stupid that you could perform espionage actions in a world in which your name is displayed right over your head for everyone else to see?

「And yeah, sure. I know all about why you guys are in here. It’s because……」

「─── Yes, that’s right! It’s nothing else but to kidnap Her Royal Highness! Quite a bit of a stinking bastard, that younger brother of mine, isn’t he?」

…… This voice.

「I was just minding my own business here at the gate in front of the upper layer, but then I felt that sudden prick at the back of my head, as if something was telling me that Sanraku-kun and Emul-chan were up to something…… By the way, what’s the deal with the exhibitionist-pompadour look?」

「The cutting-edge technology. Way ahead of its time.」

「If the times really come around for people to wear something like that in public, then we might as well incinerate that future altogether. …… And now. I wonder what those Ashura-kai remnants here are all about?」

GOGOGON…… and the Great Gate started to slowly open. And the one who emerged from inside of it was a young female player who was wearing equipment that seemed to be way more luxurious than that when we last met.

Yes, she is the one who would not hesitate to confess all of her sins to the Lady Saint in order to get close to her, just so she could start plotting various ways in which she could use her political strength and influence for her own devices. Arthur Pencilgon, a Rare Monster who has now become an Advisor for the rulers of Thirdrema!

No, that’s not even it. I think that she would easily brainwash the NPCs with a sweet talk that since I am a friend of Lady Saint, and she is my buddy, that would mean that her and Lady Saint are best of buddies as well! I can totally see her doing that!

「Sis……!!」
