ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

And then,

「Oh well! Look what do we have here! A ghost made out of a white sheet!」

「Yeah, yeah! Exactly! In the end, it was just as I said, the person wearing a white sheet pretending to be a ghost…… Huh? Hey, what the…!?」

「Say what now!?」

Looking up, there is certainly a mysterious two-legged figure that looks like a ghost made out of a sheet with two holes cut in places where its eyes should be. And it would also appear that this thing was jumping around from one roof to the next with a series of some strange movements.

「Whoa, no way! Could it seriously be that there is a Rare Monster here in Thirdrema that is only native to this city and you can’t find it anywhere else? Now then, whatever shall we do about that fact, my dear Allslot?」

「No, it’s our Princess! The Princess, you hear! After her! We have to chase her and we have to chase her now!」

「Whoa now, s-so fast! Seriously!?」

Whether it’s the truth, or a lie, or maybe just a sheer stupid coincidence true from a lie or a coincidence…… right about now I was able to witness how Allslot was chasing after “five people” looking like cheap sheet ghosts –– apparently the newest and most exciting urban legend that was created in Thirdrema up until now.

* * *

I was about to find Emul who had expanded the range of his eavesdropping attempts by tying him to a rope and hanging it down and swinging it around. So after a while I pulled him up quite vigorously and kicked him back towards my side.

「Compassion! I demand compassion, god damn it!!!」

「Compassion? And just what is so compassionate in the act of kicking someone to the side just like that without a second thought……?」

「It’s what we call the necessary evil! You ask about compassion? It’s right here! If I were to pull it up after hanging it just now, it would be way TOO compassionate! Something that I absolutely cannot allow!」

Yes, yes, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Here, have some carrots, eat the carrots and be happy! Now please tell me what exactly did you hear? It’s really important!

「Who was that person just now!? Was that fluffy and pale thing a ghost or something like that!? At least that’s the thing that we are on the lookout for! And so, it seems that there are about three of those things somewhere over there! Just try to run from us, we are going to catch you no matter what!」

「A ghost in a white cloth…… Just who the hell is that……?」

「Even if you willingly choose to look away and pretend not to care, the results itself won’t change. You are the one who said that, Sanraku-san.」

「Why is it that when you say those lines, they sound so bad? Besides, back alleys are always used for all kinds of shady deals, so it shouldn’t be all that strange that……」

「Huh? You don’t know? Really now? Please, tell me that you are joking right now. I might not know how to buy peats, but just because you don’t know that there is nothing that can stop you from selling them in some nice and secluded area. You know, if you can’t collect something, why not just profit off of something?」

Is that perhaps what people call an “Inventory Disposal”……? It’s a fact that I actually did not want to know.

However, that’s not important right about now. What is important here, is the information that Emul managed to hear. And from that is seems that our dear Little Miss Princess has donned the appearance of a pale cloth ghost. It all reeks to me of an idol trying her best to stay incognito in public, but doing something like that is only going to make you look suspicious, no matter how you try to look at it…… But right about now this is exactly what I need here. Now, speaking of Pencilgton, the official mascot of Thirdrema, I wonder what is actually needed for one to become such a mascot character?

「Alright then, listen up, Emul! Here is what we are going to do in just a moment…… First of all, we are going to guide our Princess towards a place where there is a whole lot of people.」

「And then? And then what are we going to do?」

「And then…… I guess that we do not want to stand out all too much.」

Yeah, that’s right. I was thinking about guiding those chumps towards a main street somewhere, but now I’m thinking about something else entirely, something way more efficient……

「Alright then, Emul! I have officially decided on the strategy that we are going to adapt here! And as it turns out, you are the key figure needed for the success of this operation!」

「Wait, I am?」

The name of this operation is going to be…… Yes, I suppose that his Elder Sister is the one that this guy is looking up to in some twisted way, not his parents. So it will be the operation “Bad Allslot! Bad! I’m Going to Tell Your Big Sis!”!!
