ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「…… Living your life to the fullest means not worrying about what will you do after you do bankrupt! It’s about making the most of it before that happens!」

「And once again, when someone who already went bankrupt says stuff like that, it will only make it sound as double the annoying!!」

All of the party members enter the “shopping cart”, and that also included the money-deficient duo as they continued to make a grand fuss about it for some reason. At that moment, the cube began to move straight up…… No, or was it straight down? It was hard for me to say.

「Both Score Points and Danger Points have been added! Score Points are one, ten, hundred, thousand…… The total amount after all of the purchases should be around one hundred and thirty million.」

「Danger Points is also rising really fast……! Umm, this is…… This tempo is even faster than that of the Score Points……!!」

TWONK!! The “shopping basket” that had been rising and falling finally touched the outer shell of the fifth layer. Seen from the outside, the box would be stuck to the fifth layer’s outer wall floating in the air. While we staggered on the ground due to the impact, only the “Brave Fish” who was not affected by the impact started to proclaim in a loud voice:

「SCORE POINT VALUE AT ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND AND FIVE HUNDRED. DANGER POINT VALUE AT THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY SIX THOUSAND AND EIGHT HUNDRED…… NOW THEN, REACH THE DOOR, TAKE UP YOUR ARMS, NEXT-GENERATION PRIMITIVE HUMAN BEINGS! THERE IS STILL ONE LAST SENTINEL STANDING BETWEEN YOU AND THE “WISDOM” YOU SEEK…… IF YOU WISH TO PROCEED FORWARD, THEN YOU MUST OVERCOME THIS ADVERSITY!!!」

Hearing the “Brave Fish” drop the lines that were resembling something that a criminal mastermind would say, it was only natural that we all would start to panic in an instant. But then something even stranger happened.

「…… Whoa there!?」

「My Chestoria!?」

「The weapon that we have bought are all coming out without permission……!?」

「Gogogogogogo !?」

「S-Sanraku…… -san!?」

「S-Somehow, something really amazingly disturbing is happening to Sanraku!?」

Ahh, all of those arms…… No, all of the weapons and armor that we have bought and had stored in the INVENTORY were going away…… Wait, so does that mean that the Danger Points are not a measure of the single weapon, but a collective of all of them!?

「GUARDIAN OF WISDOM: TYPE STINGER…… THAT IS THE NAME THAT WAS BESTOWED UPON THIS CREATURE.」

Using the Cube Man that Rei-san bought as the body, guns, swords, armor, and many of the equipment that we purchased was now coming together to be united as one entity, aiming for a clear “shape”. It’s clear that it’s completely different from the weapon’s original assumptions, and you can get the gist of what was happening here if you imagine the concept of a Frankenstein’s monster.

However, this thing had rifles for “legs” on which it was standing, there were giant blasters in place of its “scissors”, and there was some sort of gel in them? The appearance of the blade attached to the tip of the tail is was also reminiscent of something very particular……

「No, that’s not it…… It’s a scorpion.」

「…… Hey, Sanraku? I know that this might actually come as a shock to you, but normal people do not just accept the scorpions that are bigger than a grown up man as calmly and stoically as you are doing right now!」

Well, I do realize that fact, thank you very much for informing me about it, though. But I do believe that the more problematic thing is the fact that this Do It Yourself beast right in front of us seems to be built from nothing else but murder weapons all over. But still, it doesn’t really matter how it looks like. What’s important here is the fact that it stands between us and the fifth layer. …… And that means that it has to go down! So come on now, let’s get ready to do this thing!

「Everyone, spread out!!!」

One of its weapons closely resembles that minigun that Yashiro Bird was being so proud of not so long ago, the one that was able to change its properties depending on the situation. And right now it was being placed on the right scissors of the scorpion, roaring loudly and spraying bullets all over the place.

Fortunately, the accuracy of those shots were not all that great to begin with, but it was no reason for us to let out a sigh of relief. This thing has a whole galore of other murder weapons all over its body, so that rain of shots just now must have been but a warm up. The real battle was only about to start.

「Tail swipe is coming! Duck or jump up! Quick!」

The tail then cuts through the air and a layer of gel golem-like mucous of magical power is fixed into the shape of a sharp blade, swinging around in quick succession. Somehow I’m already used to that motion, so I can handle it no problem, but the others looked as if they were having really hard time to actually get their bearings about them. I guess that seeing this attack pattern for the first time, there really is nothing that you can do when it comes to avoiding it perfectly. Oh yeah, and just like the Crystal Scorpions, this thing is extremely sturdy and durable, and its instantaneous attack power is cranked up to eleven…… Yeah, that sounds about right.

「It’s like a murder machine that’s been oiled up perfectly!」

「Wait, what about our logistical support!? Do your job, or else I’ll go there and kill you myself!」

「Okay, alright, wait just a minute, I’m already onto it……! One layer of text, two layers of texts…… God damn it, this thing is not very efficient when it comes to scrolling through the text quickly!!」

「Then you’d better start to scroll faster, or I’ll put a bullet into your head right where you stand!」

「No, I don’t wanna! If there is a way in which I want to go out of this world, I’d rather do it with a bang, but only if I’m the one who’s pulling the trigger!」

「Y-Yashiro Bird, you idiooot!!!」

Now what should we do here? This Murder Mecha Scorpion…… It’s so strong!
