ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「How about it? Is that going to be enough?」

「YES, I HAVE TO ADMIT, THAT IS GOING TO BE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO GRANT YOU PASSAGE…… WITH THAT BEING SAID, LET ME RAISE YOUR AMBER JACK PASS TO LEVEL THREE AND TRANSPORT YOU TO THE FOuRTH LAYER RIGHT AWAY.」

Ahh, so finally, the time has come for the Amber Jack Pass to be upgraded into the Level Three. So…… Yeah, now I can also make my pans regarding Firstia a reality! I don’t think that I am ever going to visit that place personally ever again, but I am more than sure that the people out there are going to be very happy with having the possibility to be able to buy the things that come from the Leviathan’s third layer. ……Because a business strategy like that is going to be the most cost-efficient thing to do ever, one that will net me the most amount of profit with the least amount of effort.

「Really now, talk about saving my ass! You know, for some reason the attitude of the “Brave Fish” was getting colder and colder towards me with every passing day! If you guys did not come around, I would have surely stayed at the bottom of the barrel and die in poverty just like that!」

「You would have been able to get yourself back up just fine a long time ago if only you were not wasting the opportunities that life was throwing at you, you know? That’s what we call being a decent human being in the first place.」

「…… Somehow, your words sounded much more intimidating and menacing than when I was saying them.」

Oh yeah, because things like that sound really convincing and responsible in the mouth of someone who went broke on numerous occasions and was unable to make it back from the red with his own power, right? You are the last person on this Earth that I want to hear that from!

Oh well, it doesn’t really matter all that much here. Or I don’t really care if it does. It’s just a real saving grace that there are no facilities that involve the players gambling their money away in the net layer. …… Now come on! Onto the fourth layer we go! Go, go, go!!! On the double! “The Armory” awaits us!

…

………

……………

「「Byaaaawah ––––––––––––!!!!!!!!!!!!」」

The very moment that we have set foot into the fourth layer, both Yashiro Bird and Rust broke off from the rest of the group and went…… Actually, they went God knows where. After all, it seems that being a team player in certain situations was something that was asking for way too much from those guys for them to be able to actually stick to it until the very and. Oh well, I guess that some people are just like that, huh?

「THIS HERE IS THE FOURTH LAYER, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “THE ARMORY”. IT IS IN HERE THAT ALL OF THE WEAPONS AND ARMAMENTS THAT WERE THE VERY PINNACLE OF THE ERA OF THE GODS WERE CREATED IN…… YES, IN OTHER WORDS, THIS PLACE IS THE TESTAMENT TO THE RAW POWER AND MIGHT OF THE GODS THEMSELVES!」

「Guns! Guns! Weapons! Firearms! Gimme! Gimme! We are finally here! This is the best day ever! Could it be that some of them are made to be Anti-Personnel specifically? Aaahhh!! This shape! This luster! This is what I am living for! …… Could it be that I died and went to Heaven!?」

「Because of all of the mass production type, it would never be possible for the system to also manage to produce some personal requests and Unique weaponry. At least now with the at-the-time production line. Not to mention the overall “esthetics” of the products. And we still had people who wanted to be the Heroes out there, waiting for their time in the spotlight! But now here they all are, ready for the taking! After all, what good is a gun if you are never going to use it in the first place!?」

……………

「Say, Survival, think you could stop those chumps from embarrassing us even further? You can do that, can’t you? You’re good at hitting people, right?」

「Dude…… Sure, I COULD do that, but I won’t. Dealing with people like that is way too much hassle than it’s worth.」

I don’t really like what I’m seeing here. Even the beasts that were driven mad by hunger tend to act in a way more modest way than those two were acting right now.

「Say, “Brave Fish”? What are the conditions necessary for us to fulfill in order to cross this layer without any issues or incidents? Talk to me.」

「FUFUFU…… I’M AFRAID THAT I CANNOT TELL YOU THAT. AT LEAST…… NOT YET.」

「Say what now?」

「WHEN IT COMES TO THIS PARTICULAR FOURTH LAYER, I’M AFRAID THAT YOU NEED TO FIND THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION YOURSELVES! YES, THAT’S RIGHT! BUT DO NOT BE AFRAID! THE HINTS ON HOW TO CROSS THIS LAYER ARE OUT THERE FOR YOU TO FIND! YOU JUST HAVE TO PUT A LITTLE BIT OF EFFORT INTO IT!」

「Hmm, I see…… So, it seems that by coming in here, we must now take part in solving some sort of a puzzle or a mystery? Is that it?」

Well then, I guess that there is virtually nothing that can be done about that, huh? Not to mention the fact that the two greatest idiots have already went forward on their marry way towards the inner parts of the layer without even waiting for any explanation whatsoever……. Sometimes I really do wonder what I did to deserve companions like this. But anyways, the remaining four people: Rei-san, Mold, Survival and I, I guess that we are the ones who will have to do things properly if we want to find a way out of here as soon as possible. So it was really business as usual, I guess.

「I’d say that we should just go ahead and continue to do our very best at our own discretion. That’s all that there really is to it.」

「Just make sure that next time when you are about to do a German Suplex on someone that they know how to properly handle it. I know that this is a game, but we all need to be responsible here so that we can avoid unnecessary injuries.」

「Hey, don’t ask me the impossible. I don’t know anything at all about Pro Wrestling, so I wouldn’t be able to answer that question even if I genuinely wanted to do so.」

Alright, so I guess that onto the fourth layer we go, huh…… But I just wonder, what’s this place is going to be like? And more importantly, how do we go about crossing it? Maybe we need another strategy meeting before doing that? I don’ know if this is going to be the climax of this dungeon conquest, but it surely starts feeling like one more and more.
