ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「Everyone is already awake!? You wouldn’t quite believe it! This idiot managed to fall asleep twice already! Way to go, sleeping at such a crucial time! Now is time for action, not sleeping!」

「Amachi-san! Please, may I have your attention, please! Please take a look at the results of this meeting that just happened! I know that we should have contacted you sooner, but it is still not too late to implement those things! Here! This is the Leviathan Type Men Strengthening Plan! The full report includes the data necessary to expand on the aforementioned equipment!」

「No! No! Stop! Please, wait! Aikawa-kun! I’m sorry to burst your bubble when you are clearly so excited like that, but the ownership rate of the Type Men armor is way too low to think about implementing any kinds of changes to them! Instead, please take a look at this new outfit that I have designed, Amachi-san! It is a perfect combination of affection, courage, and just a little splash of shame to spice things up……!!!」

「Huuuuuuhhh!? What the hell is this even supposed to be, man!? It’s as if you were trying to just fry some butter up and try to advertise it as some rare and never-before-seen delicacy! What are you, American, or something!? Last time I checked your last name was not McKenzie! You want to make yourself useful!? Then think of some products to advertise the Tower in the third layer of the Leviathan! Maybe some Red Dogs are going to create more traffic over there!」

「Man, listen! We get it, we get it, alright!? There is something truly magical and romantic about a Mecha that can maw down whole armies all on its own! It’s a great dream for sure! But listen! We need to think perspectival here! We need to think about all those young men and women who dream about becoming magical girls! You have any idea how many people like that are there!? Fifty million nationwide! Fifty million! And it’s only in Japan, mind you!」

「Shut up! Just shut the hell up, why don’t you!?」

BOUNCE! BOUNCE! Two slightly obese men who were snorting and approaching Ritsu from behind got just hit to their fat bellies with a snapper with a mighty force. However, the striking force of the snapper was not nearly enough to be able to penetrate the natural armor made out of bodily fat, so the damage they have suffered was pretty much non—existent and their bellies just bounced strongly like freshly unpacked jelly or pudding. And then they just came to a stop after a moment or two of strong shaking and swaying.

「Check the processes again! And then do so once again, just to be sure! If you say that the parameters are behaving in a strange, unnatural way, then it is in most cases caused by a bug of some sort, but you can never be too sure about those things! What about the textures!? Huh? What was that? It doesn’t matter!, just e-mail those in charge if you have to! You might get no reply at all, but if you are lucky, you are going to receive a response somewhere around this evening! Next! What about the Orchestra!? Any abnormalities there!?」

「No, it would be impossible for anyone and anything to interfere with it. And if anything was trying to get through to the Orchestra files, it would have to first go through a keyhole inside of which seven different servers monitor the passage and would catch any file or entity that would try to brute-force its way there. All at high speed, of course. So if there is one place inside of this huge cyberspace that could be kept safe from any form of attack, that would be it. So at least this aspect here is something we do not have to worry ourselves about.

「If something is impossible, then just go and say that it’s impossible from the get-go! I do not need hear any long explanations for something that can be explained in one sentence! Besides, you guys must have been up and about all the time ever since yesterday’s night, right? Then go ahead and take a break for now. You well deserved it.」

「Alright then…… Then I guess I’ll just go and do just that. I’m going to sleep.」

「Four hundred thousand! What about the values of the kingdom!?」

「So far the Golden Scale Company decided to keep silent and not release any kind of a statement whatsoever, so the situation is pretty much stable in there. At least for now. However, should the resources that the company has at their disposal be passed to the Thirdrema’s side, this is going to be a pretty much one-sided conflict with no way for the losing side to make any sort of a comeback whatsoever.」

「Right. Here’s what we are going to do: we are going to silently increase the value of the material savings on the kingdom’s side. We’ll do it slowly and in utmost secrecy, we don’t want any of the players to realize what’s going on. Then, we are going to rig the PVP so that it won’t be possible to perform it until one of the sides gets antagonized by quantity rather than quality.」

「Umm, Amachi-san? Do you perhaps have a moment?」

「What the hell do you want, Aizawa!? Spit it out! Is it another bug!? Surely you can fix it yourself!?」

「If you’d be so kind as to please change your clothes? I did not wanted to tell you this, but I think that the smell is sticking to it and just won’t let go.」

Hearing those words, Ritsu came to a sudden halt. She then brought her face closer towards her clothes, giving them a long and deep sniff. After she did that, her shoulders dropped and a sudden craving overcame her: she felt as though she would not be able to get herself rid of this foul stench unless she would take a nice and long shower. A simple change of clothes would simply not do here. Either that, or she would have to cleanse her whole body in some other way.
