Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 43: Chapter 39: Victory, Howling Moon Silver Wolf (2)

The intensity of the attack at the North City gate wasn’t as fierce as the East City gate, yet the bodies piled up below the city walls.

Some bandits managed to climb up the walls.

Fourth Child spewed flames, continuously burning and killing the indigenous warriors.

Fourth Child even released the Seven-Colored True Flame once, turning the elder from the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe into ashes.

At this moment, Fourth Child’s spiritual power was almost depleted, unable to release Divine Thunder again.

After fighting for a while, Big Child finally activated her innate divine power; wielding a large iron spear, she confronted her enemies, killing them with a strike and injuring them with a scrape.

In just a hundred seconds, she killed and injured dozens of Silver Warriors, while dozens of Bronze Warriors died from shock.

Niu Ang, out of arrogance and underestimation, was attacked by three Elemental Warriors right at the start, and even though he was tough-skinned, he was left half-dead without the strength to continue fighting.

When Yi Tian arrived, seeing the enemy about to retreat, he instructed Yun Fei and Yun Long to capture some prisoners if necessary, then left nine Elemental Warriors and the Eastsea Falcon blocking the Broken Earth Tribe’s retreat, heading alone to the South Gate.

Upon reaching the South Gate, Yi Tian witnessed two extremes.

The Brass Mechanized Guard and Elemental Warriors were on the tower, defending against the beasts leaping onto the walls.

While below the walls, Third Child’s body emitted white light, moving freely among the group of beasts.

A B-level Silver Wolf grabbed onto Third Child, who remained unharmed and counterattacked, punching the Silver Wolf away.

With Vajra Indestructible activated, Third Child had over a thousand physique. His spiritual power merged with his skin, becoming Copper Head Iron Arm, immune to weapons.

Due to Third Child attracting a lot of firepower, the few fierce beasts that managed to jump onto the walls were swiftly dealt with by the Elemental Warriors and Brass Mechanized Guards.

Seeing fewer than a hundred fierce beasts left, Yi Tian jumped off the wall to fight alongside Third Child.

The Brass Mechanized Guard also opened the city gate, encircling and slaughtering the beasts head-on.

Mountain Lifting and Cauldron Carrying!

With Mountain Lifting and Cauldron Carrying activated, Yi Tian slashed a wild bull dead with one sword strike, then continued battling till the end.

The beasts attacking the South Gate this time numbered just over five hundred.

”Hey!” Third Child caught the only B-level fierce beast and beat it violently; the Silver Wolf’s defense was astonishing, it wasn’t killed.

”Third Child, stop for a moment.”

After examining it, Yi Tian discovered this Silver Wolf had SS-level potential, just entering the growth stage, worthy of being tamed.

Silver Wolf no longer had the strength to resist, and after Third Child stopped, Yi Tian jumped onto its back, utilizing Beast Taming Skills: ”Activate Beast Taming Skills!”

”Level 5 Beast Taming Skills, 50% taming success rate. Detected Lord’s spiritual power at 260, Howling Moon Silver Wolf’s spiritual power at 80. For every doubling of the Beast Tamer’s spiritual power, the success rate increases by 10%, thus improving the taming success rate by 20%. Current taming success rate is 70%.”

”Beast Taming Failed!”

After the spiritual power intertwined, Yi Tian’s head ached sharply, his spiritual power rebounded.

A very discouraging voice sounded. Even with a 70% chance, failure can still occur. Hopefully, opening the treasure chest won’t be like this!

The Howling Moon Silver Wolf, provoked, howled and struggled wildly.

Yet Yi Tian, mounted on its back, didn’t move a muscle.

If Yi Tian hadn’t activated Mountain Lifting and Cauldron Carrying, he might have been thrown off by the Howling Moon Silver Wolf.

”How dare you resist Daddy!” Third Child punched the Howling Moon Silver Wolf on the head, making it dizzy and howl.

”Activate Beast Taming!” Yi Tian seized the opportunity to initiate Beast Taming again.

This time, Yi Tian’s spiritual power effortlessly guided the Howling Moon Silver Wolf’s spiritual power.

”Beast Taming Successful!”

Race: Howling Moon Silver Wolf.

Potential: SS

Strength: 580.

Physique: 610.

Agility: 580.

Spiritual Power: 80.

Loyalty: 80.

Talent One: Howling Moon, SS-level talent. Increases combat power by up to 50% under moonlight.

Talent Two: Celestial Wolf Bloodline, SS-level talent, enhancing three-dimensional attributes by 70% for one hundred seconds upon activation.

Upon seeing the Howling Moon Silver Wolf’s talent, Yi Tian knew that its talent had been activated, yet it failed to break through Third Child’s Vajra Indestructible. Once the talent disappeared, it could only be slaughtered.

The strongest attack is defense, this phrase suits Third Child.

However, ultimately, Third Child’s attributes still vastly differ from the Howling Moon Silver Wolf, which might win under the moonlight.

”Congratulations to the Lord for taming the Howling Moon Silver Wolf, spiritual power increased by 50. Now the spiritual power is 310.”

”Detected SS-level potential in the lord’s territory, increasing territory points by 2000.”

Yi Tian saw the lightly injured and living fierce beasts, numbering over fifty. They were all captured.

Even with C-level fierce beasts among them, Yi Tian didn’t intend to tame them.

Yi Tian knew that with his spiritual power over three hundred now, taming fierce beasts below B-level potential wouldn’t increase his spiritual power.

Should Yi Tian tame these beasts, they couldn’t be auctioned, similar to the Lord Contract’s concept.

Yi Tian didn’t even glance at the auction house, being acutely aware that soon meat would be as cheap as cabbage, no, cheaper than cabbage. Hence living fierce beasts sell better than dead ones.

”Great, welcome to my territory, from now on, you will be called Little Moon.” Yi Tian patted the Howling Moon Silver Wolf’s head.

”Awoo...” The Howling Moon Silver Wolf sighed softly, feeling extremely vexed.

”Detected Lord has passed the assessment.”

”Calculating the celestial dao coin earned...”

”Total killings, captures of beast and indigenous people...”

”Rewarding celestial dao coin 7 million.”

”Treasure chest rewards will be issued after the completion of all lord assessments.”

Yi Tian mentally calculated that surely a small portion of the fierce beasts had escaped.

Celestial Dao Coin balance: 41.9 million.

Now it’s time to clear the battlefield, the whole area surrounding the city is a mess.

Yi Tian returned to the North City gate, discovering 250 prisoners crouched below the wall, with over a hundred severely wounded.

Among them, Niu Ang was tied up tightly with alloy iron chains.

East City gate, about 350 bandits were captured, 100 severely wounded. Among them were leaders like Gu Qianqiu.

Regarding losses, a total of over a hundred Brass Mechanized Guards sacrificed themselves across three walls.

Silver Mechanized Guards and Elemental Warriors suffered no losses.

Among Yi Tian’s thirty-six subordinates, thirteen were injured, including two seriously. Fortunately, no one died.

Within Yi Tian’s medicine garden, a B-level Spirit Grass matured, it was a Healing Pill. For those at this level, they can fully recover.

Yi Tian first had his men search the city and outside for bodies, collecting them altogether.

”Queen, regrettably, your attack failed. In view of your bravery, I respect the dead. Now I intend to return your tribe’s corpses to you.” Yi Tian had transaction records with the Queen of the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe, once he found that ID, he sent a message.

There were too many bodies to handle. With summer approaching, Yi Tian feared leaving them outside, attracting wild beasts which might lead to disease.

So he decided to return them to the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe, hoping for some benefits in return.

Yi Tian interrogated beforehand but found no big fish, unable to extort.

If any were, it would be Niu Ang.

After some dealings with the Great Emperor, Yi Tian was now quite shrewd, knowing that selling these prisoners back to their original tribe was far more profitable than the auction house.

Also, selling to other lords had the risk of exposing their coordinates.

But Yi Tian couldn’t get in touch with the Heaven-Reaching Tribe of the Minotaur Race.

”How is it possible? Our two tribes and the Fierce Beast Gang joined forces, how could we not capture you?” Soon, the Queen responded in shock.

”The facts are as such, whether you believe it or not. [Communication Crystal Ball of the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe *5].”

Yi Tian showed five Communication Crystal Balls taken from the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe’s spoils.

”How are our warriors’ casualties?” The Queen, seeing the Crystal Balls, gave up hope. After a moment’s silence, she spoke.

”About 350, including your elder, but the elder’s body is gone.” Yi Tian replied.

”Evil lord, why so cruel?” The Queen cursed at Yi Tian. She felt the sky was falling; their tribe claimed tens of thousands, yet only a few thousand above Bronze Warrior Level. To lose over five hundred Bronze Warriors, plus an elder significantly weakened their foundation. Today, they not only attacked Yi Tian’s, but also many Black Iron and Bronze Warriors attacked other lords. Compared with Yi Tian’s situation, it was utterly insignificant.

”Indeed! Why? I don’t know why either? Why did you attack me?” Yi Tian cared little for the Queen’s anger.

If Yi Tian had been defeated, what would the outcome have been?
