Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 42: Chapter 39: Victory, Howling Moon Silver Wolf

”All Elemental Warriors, listen up, fall back! Form squads, half of you attack while the other half defends.”

After issuing orders to the Elemental Warriors, Yi Tian dropped his Horn Bow, drew his Longsword, and slashed at a Bronze Dogman who had just climbed onto the city wall. The Dogman hadn’t even reacted before Yi Tian sliced its throat with one swing.

Another Dogman was about to smash a Brass Mechanized Guard when Yi Tian struck out with his Spiritual Power, knocking the Dogman head over heels. A Silver Mechanized Guard killed a bandit climbing the wall, then reversed his hand to smash the Dogman with a large halberd.

”Howl...”

A piercing eagle screech echoed through the sky as two Eastsea Falcons returned after chasing down the bandit Sky Cavalry. They soared past the East City Wall; one falcon grabbed a late-stage Silver Bandit and flew several hundred meters into the air, dropping him heavily.

Then they dived again to repeat the maneuver, targeting late-stage Silver Bandits specifically.

A stalemate occurred, as the bandits made no progress despite long efforts to attack.

Meanwhile, the second round of skills for the three group-attack Elemental Warriors had been fully charged. After each unleashed a skill, the bandits’ momentum in climbing the walls was suppressed.

”Brother Mad Lion, the enemy has too many high-level combat forces. If we hesitate, we won’t be able to conquer them. We’ve already suffered heavy losses, and even if we win, the leader will blame us, and we cannot afford that.” Gu Qianqiu frowned, looking at Mad Lion.

Gu Qianqiu knew the situation was urgent and that they had to act.

”Let’s go! We’re the last straw that breaks the camel’s back. Let’s not let those two country bumpkins take all the benefits by storming the city before us.” Mad Lion had been observing for a while and shared the same concerns as Gu Qianqiu.

The dispersal of fireballs and restraint of Ice Soul Arrows made Mad Lion feel ”I can do this.”

Mad Lion looked at Yi Tian, who was wreaking havoc on the city wall, knowing that Yi Tian was a Trial Taker and planned to capture the leader first.

”Charge!” With determination, Mad Lion decisively wielded his large copper-ringed saber, riding his lion ready to leap onto the city wall.

His lion had the strength of late-stage Silver, capable of easily jumping onto the city wall.

Gu Qianqiu’s mount was a Black Panther, excelling at jumping, making it even easier to reach the city wall than Mad Lion’s mount.

”Listen up, I’m here. Kill the evil lord, and I’ll reward you handsomely.” Mad Lion shouted loudly while galloping on his lion. At a certain distance, he slapped the lion’s rear, and both man and beast ”flew” toward the city wall.

”Five Elements Divine Light!”

Amidst left and right slashing, Yi Tian unleashed the power within him, launching his left palm. A divine light containing the elements of metal, wood, water, and fire shot from Yi Tian’s hand, aimed at Mad Lion.

Yi Tian had been keeping an eye on the two Golden Bandits, and when they finally made a move, he targeted one with his Five Elements Divine Light, assuming they would remain cowardly.

Finally, they couldn’t hold back, entering Yi Tian’s attack range.

The light was as fast as lightning, capable of evasion only at extreme speeds. With nearly a thousand points of destruction, the divine light wiped out half of Mad Lion, both man and beast, killing them instantly.

Mad Lion didn’t even have a moment to express shock or surprise.

Gu Qianqiu and his panther were suspended in mid-air, both man and beast utterly bewildered.

In that fleeting moment, a Dark Elemental Soldier split into a Shadow Clone, wielding an Elemental Dark Blade towards Gu Qianqiu.

Gu Qianqiu, with decades of experience and bloodstained blade, reacted swiftly, dodging instinctively and narrowly avoiding the fatal strike.

But his Black Panther was killed by the Shadow Clone in an instant.

Gu Qianqiu fell from mid-air to the ground.

Before he even hit the ground, a thunderbolt descended, striking Gu Qianqiu with immense force.

”Boom!”

Gu Qianqiu’s head buzzed, and he fell, fate uncertain.

Though this lightning couldn’t match the Divine Thunder of the Fourth Child, it was enough to injure anyone with a physique below 750.

The scene shifted in a flash!

The two high-profile Golden Leaders were killed and wounded right under the bandits’ noses, scaring the life out of the bandits.

Many are fearless in the face of death, driven by a burning desire for victory.

But when victory becomes hopeless, fear fills their hearts.

At this moment, the East City Gate swung open, and a Silver Warrior led a hundred Bronze Warriors out of the gate, aiming to cut off the bandits’ retreat.

These were the West City Gate defenders. After confirming no threats in the western mountains, Second Child led all West City Gate troops to support the East City Gate, ending the battle there and then consolidating forces to aid the North City Gate.

Additionally, nine Elemental Warriors from the West City Gate leapt onto the city wall, launching regular attacks first, then activating their skills. The terrified bandits on the wall suffered heavy casualties.

”Retreat! Retreat!”

As chaos brewed, a Silver Bandit shouted, sending the remaining bandits into disarray, desperately jumping off the city wall.

But in the sky were Eastsea Falcons, and on the ground were a hundred Bronze Warriors blocking their way.

Eighteen Elemental Warriors on the city wall relentlessly harvested lives.

The army crumbled like a landslide!

”Surrender and you live. Resisters will be mercilessly killed!”

After a bit more killing, the bandits, filled with terror, heard Yi Tian shout.

The frightened bandits felt as if they were granted amnesty. One by one, on the city wall and below, they dropped their weapons and knelt in surrender.

Yi Tian collected their weapons, then brought out the pre-prepared handcuffs and leg irons from the tower.

Next, they began cleaning up the fierce beasts. These were not only resources but also part of the rewards.

Nine Warriors and one hundred and fifty Brass Mechanized Guards were responsible for the cleanup. White Tiger led Five Tigers and Yun Tao to guard the prisoners.

Yi Tian led the remaining nine Warriors with Little Blue and Little Black to support the North City Gate.
