Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 37: Chapter 35: Level 7 Territory

”Divine Eagle, split it in half, and absorb it!”

Yi Tian broke the Life Essence into two and tossed it to the two little Eastsea Falcons under the villa’s eaves.

The little Eastsea Falcons, drawn by the Life Essence, rushed over and devoured it in one gulp.

One minute, two minutes, three minutes...

No change!

Not until ten minutes later did the two Eastsea Falcons’ bodies begin to grow.

Starting from the size of a hen, they eventually reached half the height of a person.

Their feathers began to densely cover their bodies, then started weaving together into the feathers on their wings. A layer of feathers as sharp as blades grew at the tips of their wings.

After the transformation, the two Eastsea Falcons’ beaks became curved and sharp, their legs sturdy, their claws sharp.

The difference was, one Eastsea Falcon was pure black, the other sky blue—clearly different breeds.

Once the transformation was complete, the two Eastsea Falcons soared together into the sky.

An eagle’s cry split the heavens. The two Eastsea Falcons circled above the villa, wing to wing.

Feathers of different colors, equally powerful wings, equally sharp eyes.

”Detected: the potential of two Eastsea Falcons within the territory has advanced to S-level, territory points increased by 1000.”

Race: Eastsea Falcon.

Stage: Growth Stage.

Strength: 320.

Constitution: 320.

Agility: 350.

Spiritual Power: 100.

Talent One: S-level Innate Divine Eagle Bloodline—upon activation, Strength and Speed increase by 50% for 100 seconds. Usable once every three hours.

Talent Two: S-level Talent: God of Ten Thousand Eagles—Battle attack and speed in air increased by 30%.

The Eastsea Falcons circled aloft for a long time, then landed on the ground. Their bodies were so large—their wingspan over three meters—otherwise they’d definitely perch on Yi Tian, letting him experience ”white on the left, blue on the right”.

”Mm, not bad. You’re both somewhat intelligent and understand my words. First, livestock on the grassland are forbidden to eat; if you’re hungry, tell me. Second, there are eighteen Spirit Fruit Trees nearby, each of you eat one fruit only; no overeating, it’s pointless. Third, from now on you’re called Little Blue and you’re called Little Black.”

The Eastsea Falcons’ strength had already surpassed Little White; with some training, their power would reach B-level, two more generals for the team.

”Gugu...”

The Eastsea Falcons nuzzled Yi Tian affectionately, indicating their understanding.

The two Illusory Purple-Blue trees, Yi Tian planted by the stream beside the villa—he’d set up a small garden there later.

As for the Phoenix Tree, Yi Tian had already ordered his people to plant it.

The only thing that annoyed Yi Tian: this twenty-meter-tall Phoenix Tree didn’t increase territory points at all. Yet the similarly top-level tree, Nightlight Tree, did.

Each Phoenix Tree used up at least thirty units of wood. Chopping it down would be a shame; standing by the villa window, watching the Phoenix Tree’s leaves sway like flying phoenixes, was truly mesmerizing.

This made Yi Tian wonder—Purple Phoenix Moon Dance, when chatting with him, was she in Birdman form? Or Phoenix form? Or that form he imagined?

”The Celestial Dao World’s contest! Am I really the first to reach Seventh-Level Territory? The area rewards are so generous—what will Celestial Dao World reward me?”

Yi Tian recalled the system prompt when his territory upgraded to Level Six.

”Level Six is the limit for ordinary territory. Celestial Dao World contest begins; within the Celestial Dao World, the first hundred Lords to reach Level Seven Territory will receive rich rewards.”

As far as Yi Tian knew, only the top ten territories in each zone and sub-zone would get rewards.

Second and third prizes lagged far behind the first. Fourth to tenth also had a significant gap from the top three.

Yet the first hundred Trial Takers to reach Seventh-Level Territory would get rewards. Yi Tian believed the gap here must be huge.

”Seventh-Level Territory, today’s the day!”

End of month assessment—the higher the territory level, the tougher the challenge.

Yi Tian understood this well, but didn’t fear it.

The Seed Nurturing Room was built on the other side of the granary.

To the left of the granary was the food factory, to the right he built the seed nurturing room.

”F-level Beast Core*100, High-Level Stone*20,000, Steel*10,000, Copper*10,000, silver*10,000, Gold*1,000, Celestial Dao Coin*10,000.”

Total: 550,000 Celestial Dao Coins.

After cleaning out the auction house, Yi Tian quickly built a two-story Seed Nurturing Room.

From now on, be it Spirit Fruit seeds or crops, they’d all be stored in the seed nurturing room.

This room had a special effect—any seeds nurtured here for more than three days would increase crop yields by 10%.

The nurturing room increased territory points by 2,000.

After finishing the seed nurturing room, Yi Tian went to the villa’s backyard garden.

This open ground was where he usually practiced martial arts—the Martial Arts Arena would be built here.

”A-level Beast Core*1, B-level Beast Core*10, C-level Beast Core*100, Top-level Stone*10,000, Gold*10,000, Celestial Dao Coin*100,000.”

Beast Cores: 1.4 million, stones: 5 million, gold: 1 million. Total: 6.5 million Celestial Dao Coins.

Yi Tian bought all the materials at the auction house and built it in about five minutes.

A four-hundred-square-meter Martial Arts Platform appeared, one meter high, with eight ten-meter columns on the corners. On each corner stood a statue of the Four Symbols Divine Beasts: Cyan Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise. Really high-class stuff.

The Martial Arts Arena increased territory points by 8,000.

Yi Tian checked his points: 195,250/200,000.

Martial Arts Arena 8,000, Seed Nurturing Room 2,000, 25 D-level members 1,250, 5 C-level members 500, the exquisite little bridge made of top-level stone 150.

Yi Tian also had a secret weapon—a design blueprint from the Rain Beast Treasure Chest for a four-unit, five-story apartment building.

This building, Yi Tian called the member dormitory—massive but with standard materials—could raise territory points by 5,000.

Yi Tian had long reserved a spot for the member dorms in the northeast corner of the city.

He noticed all the native attacks usually came from northeast. Having the dorms there would let members deploy quickly.

Especially since the city’s eastern side had little strategic depth—when a crisis hit, he needed rapid troop deployment.

”Mid-grade Stone*1,000,000, Glass*10,000, Iron*300,000, Copper*100,000, Wood*500,000, F-level Beast Core*20, silver*10,000, Gold*10,000, Celestial Dao Coin*50,000.”

Total cost: 3.8 million Celestial Dao Coins.

Mid-grade stone was the priciest—2 million total, gold 1 million, glass 100,000, silver 100,000, iron 300,000, copper 200,000.

Don’t think this apartment building was cheap—it needed a ton of stuff. Came together like little mountains.

Building it, Yi Tian brought Fire Dragon, Yun Long, Yun Fei and other territory members to witness the moment of happiness.

In the entire Celestial Dao World, where else was a boss like him, spending millions of Celestial Dao Coins just to build luxury dorms for his crew?

Yeah! Territory points are secondary!

”Construct!”

On the Level 4 Construction Platform sat the blueprint for the four-unit, five-story apartment. The platform’s light engulfed each mountain of material.

Once the light faded, a brand-new apartment building rose from the ground.

Four units, five floors, with an east and west suite on each floor. A total of forty suites.

”As your Lord, seeing your recent good performance, I’m building this apartment for you. There’s thirty-six of you, so pick twelve suites. Each suite has three rooms; soon I’ll hook up the water pipes and toilets, beds and desks, water purifiers, toiletries, household goods, kitchen gear.” Yi Tian said righteously to his thrilled crew.

Originally he planned to give each leader a suite, but on second thought, they should cook and eat together—three to a suite was best.

The members were all excited—they’d never had such nice housing, even in the tribe.

In no time, loyalty was rising, hitting ninety points.

Yi Tian checked with the Celestial Dao Stone—no snitches here—nodded in satisfaction.

He temporarily blocked system notifications, patiently finished all the chores, then prepared to claim rewards with a clear mind.

For twelve consecutive suites, Yi Tian furnished each one, finally linking water pipes from the lake and biogas pipes underneath.

He worked straight into the night.

Damn, all this setup cost another 1.35 million.

Yi Tian sighed—definitely not cut out to be a capitalist; way too softhearted to his employees.

Checked his Celestial Dao Coin balance: 40.13 million.

From the seed nurturing room to the finished dorms, he’d spent a total of 12.2 million.

At night by the creek, four Kiddos were still playing in the water, having the time of their lives.

Yi Tian unblocked system messages and received his rewards.

”Detected territory points: 200,250. Territory upgraded to Level 7. Next upgrade: (200,250/1,000,000).”

”Congratulations, Lord! First Trial Taker in Zone 66 to reach Level 7, rewarded: Celestial Dao Coin*70,000, Wind Element Core*1, Thunder Element Core*1, Light Element Core*1, Dark Element Core*1, Gold Element Core*1, Wood Element Core*1, Water Element Core*1, Fire Element Core*1, Earth Element Core*1.”

”Congratulations, Lord, first Trial Taker in Zone 10086 to reach Level 7, rewarded: Celestial Dao Coin*700,000, SSS-level Heavenly and Earthly Treasures: Five Elements Sacred Fruit Tree*1.”

”Lord Yi Tian is the first Trial Taker in Celestial Dao World to reach Seventh-Level Territory, rewarded: Celestial Dao Coin*50 million, Gold*1 million, Divine Talent: Five Elements Divine Body!”

Yi Tian was stunned!

Forgot every reward except the Five Elements Divine Body.

”Detected: Lord has awakened Divine Level Talent, Five Elements Divine Body, permanently increases Spiritual Power by 200. Current Spiritual Power: 310.”

”Five Elements Divine Body, natural technique, comes with Five Elements Technique. Activate the divine body to release Five Elements Divine Light, dealing triple Spiritual Power damage, ignoring all passive defensive talents/skills. After releasing Five Elements Divine Light, the origin will recover in three hours.”

”With this divine body, I don’t have to drag down Little Kiddo anymore. Wait, when did I ever drag her down...”

Yi Tian had dreamed a thousand times of getting a Spiritual Power Technique—now he finally had one.

Though Yi Tian knew Spiritual Power couldn’t be combined with physical force, the mysterious magics of Spiritual Power were something he craved.

In future he could study martial skills too, firing off magic nonstop.

”Please select gold placement location, my Lord!”

The Celestial Dao Stone reminded Yi Tian again.

Turns out there’s so much gold, he couldn’t place it right where he was standing.

”Place it!”

Yi Tian dashed to the treasury beneath the boutique warehouse and stored the gold there.

As the gold was neatly placed row after row—

Yi Tian’s total gold now reached 3.08 million units.

As for Element Cores, Yi Tian had forty-three, with earth element cores the most—nine cores.

”SSS-level Heavenly and Earthly Treasures, Five Elements Sacred Fruit—Spirit Fruit tempered by Five Elements Spiritual Qi, increases living creature potential. Takes 10,000 months to blossom and bear fruit. Yields 24 fruits. After eating, strength, constitution, and agility each increase by 50.”

Awesome! Though your consumption is kinda nuts...

For a moment Yi Tian hesitated about using Water of Life.

Note: Using Water of Life to stimulate one Five Elements Sacred Fruit could stimulate ten Dragon Blood Holy Fruits. Selling those, he’d rake in the profits from 240 Dragon Blood Holy Fruits.

In the end, Yi Tian decided to stimulate the Five Elements Sacred Fruit.

But not now—he’d do it on the 31st, the day the big assessment began.

He’d wait until the enemy was nearly here, then he and the Kiddos would each eat a Five Elements Sacred Fruit, timing it just right.

The invaders’ strength usually scaled with the Lord’s strength.
