A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 942: Chapter 934: Calamity of the Wizards (14)

”What do you mean?”

As the leader of this invasion and with no higher-grade Wizards around, Green asked in a low voice.

At the same time, Green’s eyes, under the Truth Mask, looked down into the canyon. The Balance Rules were covered with heavy earth veins, layer upon layer, like a seal naturally formed after the world’s evolution, without any external force applied—it was all a coincidence, a destiny crafted by the masterful hands of fate.

If not for the will conveyed from beneath the rift earlier, Green’s party might have only thought this was a nest of Ancient Dragon People and mutant giant mosquitos.

This world actually possesses a World Master!?

”Hahaha, this is a long story. Hmm, let me think, the Trickster’s invasion of the Explosive Thunder World was probably around seven thousand years ago, right?”

Trickster?

Green, Youquan, Agrimond, and Severnese confirmed they had never heard of such a creature.

”In the thousand years before that, several Dominators of great worlds fought fiercely in this world, affecting numerous worlds. Reluctantly, the previous Emperor Wolf King represented the Explosive Thunder World and signed an alliance Destiny Contract with the World Masters here to protect themselves in the world chaos. Oh, by the way, you might not know, this world was once called Dinosaur World!”

”Ha!?”

Xiao Ba stuck out his tongue playfully, yet another dusty history.

Unlike the other three, Green was evidently more interested in world history. Often, world treasures and wealthy civilizations hide within these ambiguous historical legends, providing clues and threads for True Spirit Wizards to explore treasures in small and medium worlds.

With Green’s keen interest, he couldn’t help but show some goodwill, saying in a low voice: ”You may call us Wizards.”

”Wizards?”

This Level Five Shagu Thunder Giant Wolf seemed unaware of information about Wizards, nodded after a moment, and continued recounting that sealed history.

”Then things happened suddenly. One day, an incredibly powerful World Master known as the Trickster was summoned by previous enemies of the Explosive Thunder World into this world cluster, launching a massive invasion. Forced by circumstances, the Explosive Thunder World activated the Destiny Contract to summon assistance from the Dinosaur World. But these selfish, greedy beings betrayed our alliance, violating the Destiny Contract!”

”Gah!? Holy crap...”

Cough cough cough!

Now, not only Xiao Ba but Green, Youquan, Agrimond, and Hillvenness were all stunned.

”Foolish beings, even the Endless Dominators, God of Gods, True Spirit Wizards must adhere to Balance Rules and Destiny Contracts to maintain trading rules among the Endless World. Yet here is a world that dares publicly to violate the honorable contract!”

Severnese chuckled coldly,

As a Civilization World with a broad perspective, almost every Wizard with even a slight knowledge of Foreign Domain trade knows that daring to violate the Destiny Contract brings tenfold, hundredfold punishment and maintains Endless World balance.

Fate’s punishment is inescapable, unavoidable; everything arises from the natural evolution of the Endless World.

”Hehehehehe, exactly! As you can see, this world’s will is defeated and withered, without a World Master or World Guardian, all because they occupied too many world resources and yet were sealed within their world—laughably pathetic, hahaha...”

With fierce and cold eyes, Youquan said thunderously: ”Since it’s impossible to violate your alliance contract, what talk of cooperation between us? What is your purpose!?”

”Our only purpose is to witness the decline of this world, as punishment for betraying the Shagu Thunder Giant Wolf tribe!”

Hehehehe...

The left head of this three-headed Thunder Giant Wolf said ”Ugh” and spat out Thunderforce, vaguely forming a Destiny Contract renowned for Balance Rules while the other two wolf heads grinned savagely, pointing their claws at a clause in the destiny treaty.

”Gentlemen Wizards, see this? According to the Destiny Contract, each World Master of Explosive Thunder World must fully assist in repelling any external enemy invasion of the Dinosaur World. However, upon arriving in this world, as guided by the Destiny Contract, we found that our assistance is restricted only to this seal!”

An excited ridicule, full of satisfaction.

”Yes, now I understand, because this world is no longer Dinosaur World, it’s Spirit People World! Our contract is to assist in retaliation, but if these remnants of Dinosaur World wills don’t retaliate, how can we assist?”

”Wagagagaga, so crafty, so evil, Master Eight likes it!”

Upon hearing the explanation from the three-headed Thunder Giant Wolf, Xiao Ba laughed impudently.

Green and the others exchanged glances, their eyes brightening; if it were truly as the other side said, the matter could be promising and might even lead to deeper cooperation.

Perhaps even... joining the Wizarding Alliance!

However, compared to Green and the four Stigma Sorcerers, the dinosaurs sealed underground, hearing that the beings they spent over a hundred years and immense effort summoning are exploiting the contract loophole due to outside world changes, conspiring with invading evil enemies to eliminate them, felt utterly reckless, even making it intentional for them to hear—such feeling was nearly enough to drive them mad.

”You will not succeed!”

The desperate, helpless, and angry roars from the depths of the seal were ultimately ignored by Green and the others above.

In fact, Green and his weakened party were not inclined to fully trust these Thunder World creatures.

In the deception and betrayal of world battles, the best strategy is absolute power coupled with a Destiny Contract.

”Since you wish to cooperate in such a manner, you should have sensed the irresistible force of Wizard World wreaking havoc in the middle of this world, right?”

Green smiled, saying in a low voice: ”After dealing with that, these guys within the seal will be handled accordingly. Moreover, why not take this opportunity to cooperate with the vast and mighty Wizard World? Hehehehe... If you can contribute your Strength to aiding Wizard World in conquering the Parasitic Spore World connected to this one, Wizard World will be generous and surely grant Explosive Thunder World a share of the benefits.”

Green coldly observed the other party, wondering if they had any ulterior motives—all depends on whether they can sign the Destiny Contract.

The Shagu Thunder Emperor Wolves looked at each other and then at the Wizards, who were cautiously maneuvering as well; Explosive Thunder World neither wanted to follow the path of its betrayer to ruin nor wish to engage in the world war exceeding their coping capability.

Confronted with the aggressive demeanor of the few Wizards, another head of the Level Five Thunder Giant Wolf, the middle wolf head, nodded slowly.

Three hourglass times later.

With Elemental Force spreading, the Destiny Contract was signed!

”Roar, you will not succeed. Without the world’s will to protect, let those chaotic creatures destroy this world; let everything perish!”

”Hehe!”

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Following a joint massacre of the Ancient Dragon People, marks the beginning of the collaboration between Wizards and Shagu Thunder Emperor Wolves.
