A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 907: Chapter 899: Savior Project

With a ”boom,” the elevator reached the bottom, feeling somewhat warm, much warmer than above.

”Don’t worry, although Evolved Humans are not optimistic in this world, it’s not impossible for them to once again rule this world, achieving glory after the Spirit People. Because our director secretly started this Savior Project seven years ago!”

Li Qingya thought Situ Mo’s pale face was because of despair for this world, and quickly revealed the real plan for bringing Situ Mo to this secret base, looking quite excited, with a tone of unmatched admiration, as if feeling immense pride because of the director’s plan.

”Savior Project!?”

Snap!

As the elevator doors opened, a few soldiers holding Spiritual Firearms looked over. After confirming the identity of the three, they saluted uniformly, showing extremely high discipline and quality.

”Hmm, thank you for your hard work.”

The director offered his condolences, receiving a unified answer from the soldiers, their voices excited, like the most loyal followers: ”Devote everything for the future of Evolved Humans!”

The director led Situ Mo away from the elevator. Some passing Spiritual Research Personnel curiously glanced at this new face, Situ Mo, who felt extremely weak aura from them, weaker than himself before evolution, as fragile as twigs, easily breakable.

”These are the descendants of high-end Primordial Energy research personnel secretly conducted at the base, inheriting their elders’ studies. Since this secret base never suffered from chaotic miasma pollution, they are true Spirit People, inheriting according to Spirit People’s original evolutionary method, never having been to the surface in their lives.”

The director explained to Situ Mo behind him.

A row of Primordial Energy research equipment brushed past, seeming to be the reason these residual research tools allowed this base to maintain some Spiritual Firearms, and regularly update the spiritual energy polluted by chaotic miasma, ensuring the reliability of firearms.

”True Spirit People!? Then those above...”

The director shook his head, while Xiao Li beside him explained: ”In fact, all Spirit People who survived the chaos apocalypse have undergone some passive evolution, albeit slower compared to those Mutant Beasts. Calling them F-Class Evolvers is not an exaggeration.”

Situ Mo’s worldview was overturned, he could only nod passively.

”Haha, here he is, this must be Situ Mo who just advanced to C-Class, right?”

Up ahead, a man in a white lab coat approached, his aura restrained, with strong Primordial Energy fluctuations. Situ Mo immediately thought of the other B-Class expert at CF-2 Base besides the director, the doctor!

”Yes, he has already advanced to C-Class Evolver and is eligible to know the plan. Next month is the yearly hunting event, we need an Energy Crystal Core with a thunder attribute ripple. The only detected B-Class and Above Mutant Beast near the base with thunder attribute ripple... it’s the only one...”

The silent sigh after ”it’s” made Situ Mo’s expression tense.

After explaining to the doctor, the old director looked at Situ Mo, pointing to a giant sphere-like mysterious Primordial Energy machine ahead, speaking deeply with excitement, ”Situ Mo, this is CF-2 Base’s plan to save Evolved Humans.”

”Space-Time Exploration Machine!?”

Ordinary people might not recognize this machine, but Situ Mo was well aware!

Situ Mo exclaimed, incredulous, glancing at the old director and everyone present as if looking at a bunch of lunatics.

Once, this beautiful world was thrown into an apocalypse disaster by trying to explore the Different World with Spiritual Technology machines, opening chaos rifts, and now this base is still trying to open the doors to the Different World, has the director gone mad!?

Does he want to plunge this world into even deeper catastrophe?

”Situ Mo, you worry that this Spiritual Space-Time Exploration Machine will plunge this world into deeper disaster, do you hate these Exotic Creatures?”

The old director seemed to see through Situ Mo’s heart, asking in a deep voice. Beside him, the doctor in a white lab coat put on gloves and a mask, entering a closed Laboratory, seemingly accustomed to newcomers like Situ Mo not understanding or fearing the Savior Project, took out two Experimental Test Tubes.

”Yes!”

Situ Mo asserted without a doubt, speaking deeply.

”Young man, civilization’s development shouldn’t fear disaster and death. Otherwise, it will remain forever in its narrow world. Through this chaos apocalypse disaster, at least Spirit People evolved into Evolved Humans, allowing us to see powerful creatures beyond this world, known as World Masters! Moreover, we too can evolve our own Evolved Human World Master! Overall, from a biological evolution perspective, although Spirit People unleashed a catastrophe, it also gave them a chance for higher-level biological evolution!”

The doctor explained methodically.

”Because of fear, forever sealing one’s world? Did you ever think that since Spirit People could communicate with other worlds, open world rifts, these worlds might also one day open Spirit People’s world rifts. If Exotic Creatures invaded, how would the once weak Spirit People face them?”

The doctor’s consecutive questions left Situ Mo unsure of how to answer.

Shaking his head, the doctor suddenly flashed an indescribable glow of excitement in his eyes, placing two Experimental Test Tubes in front of Situ Mo, filled with two different gases.

One bottle contained a gray mist, the chaotic miasma filling this world, while the other was a clear green tint, a clear feeling.

Next, under the doctor’s excited glow, the gases in the two test tubes merged, surprisingly causing neutralization!

”Seven years ago, I discovered information fragments on gases from another Different World in an ancient family the director found, besides Spirit People World and chaos world, in fact, there are countless Endless Worlds; not every world is as chaotic and unruly as the chaos world. If we can open the rift to this world, introduce some gases to neutralize the chaotic miasma, believe me...”

...

So this is the secret Savior Project at CF-2 Base?

Half an hour later, Situ Mo followed Li Qingya away from this secret base.

But compared to other Evolved Humans’ initial suspicion and eventual belief, Situ Mo, having had encounters and deeper understanding with Exotic Devils, harbored deeper vigilance towards this plan.

If from this space rift named ”Purified World” by CF-2 Base, another group of monsters were to emerge...

”Situ Mo, prepare yourself well. In a month, it’s the yearly hunting event. To open the Space-Time Machine’s space rift, according to the doctor’s attribute calculations, we need ten different attribute chaos crystal cores above B-Class as energy. This year, this is the eighth; in two years, our Savior Project will start! But the hunting targets are too strong, we don’t even know if the entire base can succeed if mobilized...”

Li Qingya’s smile carried some sadness, and with a sigh, she left.

”If not for this Savior Project, the director might have already used these chaos crystal cores to advance to Grade-A Evolver...” (To be continued. If you like this work, please vote for it on Qidian (), your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please visit m. for reading.)
