A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 916: Chapter 908: Complete Descent

”Ah...”

”What is this!”

”Monster...”

Two plant-type foreign domain lifeforms emerged from the spatial rift, their presence not weaker than the strongest figure in the secret base at the time, Situ Mo, perhaps even stronger!

One resembled a giant thorn ball, the other a fern-like monstrous tree. Upon sensing the abundant presence of flesh and life, they sprouted numerous grotesque spikes and aggressively charged at the evolvers in the secret base.

These low-level evolvers and spiritual technology personnel were no match, causing chaos and panic.

Any evolver attempting to approach the spatial rift was killed by the unimaginable, strong, and thick plants constantly widening the rift. These D-Class and C-Class evolvers couldn’t even get close.

The sole exit of the secret base lay behind the plant-transformed old director, yet because of Li Qingya, Situ Mo did not dare to attack or attempt to kill, only engaging in a covert standoff.

Any evolver or spirit person daring to approach the exit in an attempt to escape was mercilessly killed by the old director!

In an instant, the secret base was a scene of flesh splatter, cries of anguish, and despair, resembling hell.

”You... you deceived us, used all of us?!”

With a heart wrenching in pain, descended from a beautiful dream into the depths of despair, Situ Mo felt that everything had lost meaning, the heavy blow making him feel insignificant, even though his power seemed great, he was still merely a puppet in the hands of those in control.

”Use? Deceive?”

After transforming into a plant, the old director reached a height of five meters, occasionally extending a few branches and leaves, now emitting a disdainful laugh.

”Spirit people, evolvers, they’re just one of countless biological groups under the endless world. Survival of the fittest is the basic evolutionary rule of the endless world! Relying on the power of evolvers themselves, one day, they will be entirely obliterated by those seabed people, underworlders, and ancient dragon people. Heh heh heh heh, but I am the true savior! To completely save the evolvers, I offered everything to the great King of Male Ferns, opening this rift to the parasitic spore world, allowing us evolvers the priority to parasitize and transform into higher-level plant people!”

The old director’s loud voice seemed to represent justice, representing a more advanced civilization, singing praises.

”Cough cough cough...”

Part of Li Qingya’s body was the flesh of an evolver, while the other part was a parasitic spore plant body, both intensely repelling each other, she couldn’t help but spit out some bloody water, on the verge of death!

Regarding the principles spoken by the now plant-transformed old director, Situ Mo understood none, but he knew that once all evolvers were transformed into plant people, it meant the complete disappearance of all former civilization, heritage, and will, and the extinction of spirit people and evolvers.

What should be done!?

Li Qingya...

”Heh, Situ Mo, if you want to save Li Qingya, follow my arrangements immediately, otherwise, bring out that alien world lord from within you and see if his will projection has the courage to act irresponsibly here! Heh heh heh, the great King of Male Ferns has already told me about your secret.”

With reckless mockery, the director looked at Situ Mo with eyes as if looking at a naive mouse, proud and disdainful, as if everything was in his control.

”You...”

The deepest secret in his heart exposed so openly, Situ Mo’s eyes filled with despair, shock, confusion, panic, unable to utter a word, only left with endless fear.

Behind him, the spatial rift poured out more fern plant people, slaughtering the remaining few evolvers in the secret base, and as the rift grew larger, unimaginable and more terrifying presences faintly emerged from behind the black rift, penetrating through it, causing every cell in Situ Mo’s body to tremble uncontrollably.

”Keh keh keh keh keh, are you talking about me?!”

Soon, a sinister, ominous evil aura appeared, blood and flesh on Situ Mo’s shoulder writhing, a second skull emerged with golden hair flowing, deep cold eyes, and a vicious smile at the corners of its mouth.

This skull turned a hundred and eighty degrees, giving the dark depths of the spatial rift a glance, the evil curve of its mouth widened, then the skull rotated three hundred sixty degrees again, facing back to the plant-transformed old director.

”You... seem to be afraid?”

The old director took a slight step back, sensing the unbelievable power emanating from Situ Mo’s body, his expression horrified, unable to believe.

According to the Baron, a world master’s will projection is only S-Class, which was the level of strength Situ Mo had shown.

Yet the immense tidal power like the sea before him, how could it be just the S-Class power originally displayed by Situ Mo?

”You...”

Thud!

Situ Mo swung the Sword of Malice casually, and a sword mark dozens of meters long appeared behind the old director in the secret base, the next moment, the plant-transformed body of the old director shattered.

”Great Annihilation Sorcerer...”

Tears of despair filled Situ Mo’s eyes.

Everything once beautiful turned out to be like this, the brutal reality completely killed Situ Mo’s heart, who had longed for the evolvers’ bright future, as if losing any hope.

”Keh keh keh keh, fate is indeed cruel, how... have you surrendered to the cruel fate, completely despaired?”

Green’s skull of the Oblivion Origin echoed an evil laugh, emitting an overwhelming aura, piercing through Situ Mo’s heart with enticing words.

”Do I... still have any hope?”

Situ Mo asked with dull, spiritless eyes.

”Keh keh keh keh, insignificant existence, weak spirit, have you forgotten, you have me! Pray to the Oblivion Sorcerer, bow and kneel before me, complete the transaction, I will fulfill your every wish! Let Li Qingya continue to live, and let these fern plant people who shatter your hope face extinction, let any tribe attempting to block the evolver race from once again standing at the pinnacle of this world be overthrown!”

Green’s words made Situ Mo’s eyes widen in disbelief.

Hope given in despair, Situ Mo was so moved by Green’s devilish smile that he shed the sincerest of tears.

”Great Annihilation Sorcerer, humble Situ Mo prays to you, as long as you can fulfill all of this, I’m willing to offer my soul, my body, my life, my everything, as gratitude to you!”

”Bang,” Situ Mo knelt on the ground, eyes transfixed on Li Qingya struggling in pain in his arms, filled with reluctance and well-wishes.

”Qingya, please carry my beautiful blessings and enjoy the wonderful life of evolvers standing once again at the pinnacle of this world...”

Green’s evil laughter gradually calmed.

Finally, the devil’s contract was completely fulfilled, harvesting the soul of the prey, the Oblivion Source Avatar was to replace the typical world master and Stigma Sorcerer’s will projection, entirely descending into this world.

”Deal!”

Boom...

Immense power swept across the CF-2 Underground Secret Base, Green fully descended as the Oblivion Source Avatar of the chaos apocalypse spirit human world, able to wield all the powers of his physical form except for magic power!
