A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 917: Chapter 909: Fern Plant People

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...

One by one, the fern plant people approaching Grimm’s Avatar of the Source of Oblivion were easily shredded by the sword aura emanating from the Sword of Malice held by its terrifying physical strength.

”Unknown World Master, are you attempting to prevent me from descending into this world, to stop the great Parasitic Spore World Legion from invading this world, hmm? Hahaha...”

The King of the Ferns’ will, transmitted through the world rift, taunted with a mocking sneer.

Without magic power, Grimm’s Avatar of the Source of Oblivion couldn’t quickly remove the parasitic spores from Li Qingya, so he had to use external means to completely freeze Li Qingya, minimizing the body’s self-rejection.

After settling everything, Grimm stood up, and his eyes made contact with those vague yet powerful wills surging from the world rift and the endless Parasitic Spore World Legion.

”One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, quite a number. It’s another mid-level world; how fortunate, kakaka! How exciting, in that case, bring those old fellows from the Second Ring Holy Towers who are disputing over limited invasion slots.”

Grimm’s Avatar of the Source of Oblivion evilly licked his lips, every cell trembling uncontrollably with excessive excitement.

”Stop? Oh no, great King of Ferns, I welcome you to invade this world filled with vitality and wealth with utmost sincerity, kakaka... Otherwise, it requires a lot of effort to complete the contract and destroy the Parasitic Spore World.”

”Hmm? You...”

Just as the King of Ferns was about to say something, another World Master, unable to stand Grimm’s boastful words, suddenly burst into laughter.

”Hahaha, destroy the Parasitic Spore World?”

This World Master’s voice was imbued with an ancient, weathered feeling.

”Although I don’t know which world you are the ignorant master of, your words just now have brought a catastrophe to your world. Now, the Parasitic Spore World rift is right in front of you. If you have the courage, come destroy it! Hahaha. If you lack courage, when we descend upon your world, we’ll find your hidden place in the Spirit People World, track down your world’s clues, and launch a destructive invasion!”

Whoosh!

Among the various forms of plant stems, vines, and tendrils that were tearing open the world rift, a pierced vine suddenly shot out towards Grimm, undoubtedly bearing the aura of a World Master.

On one side, due to the constraints of the world rift, only part of the body extended, it could exert only a fraction of strength.

On the other side, Grimm, having descended with an avatar, could only exert his physical strength, being considered one of the weakest World Masters wasn’t far off.

The clash!

Obviously, this relatively weak World Master could only exert a small amount of strength, more vulnerable, with a ”poof” sound, a vine tendril unrelated matter was cut by Grimm.

Under Grimm’s feet, the ground ”boom” split open in layers in all directions.

Poof, poof, poof...

However, the chopped vine tendril surprisingly bounced like a severed gecko tail, relentlessly re-integrating into the vine.

”Hmm!?”

”This...”

From the other end of the world rift, voices of astonishment transmitted, clearly unable to comprehend the powerful strength possessed by Grimm’s will projection.

”Hahaha, no wonder you dare to shout about destroying the Parasitic Spore World, your body has such strong power? But if not afraid of death, come on over here! Using you as nourishment, perhaps I will advance, achieving the same level of supreme power as the old guys of the previous generation!”

The King of Ferns judged Grimm’s strong power from this will projection as being possessed by Grimm’s body.

With a sudden command from the King of Ferns, relentlessly, the fern plant people surged out from the world rift, nearly filling the vast underground secret base, fearlessly lunging towards Grimm.

Overwhelming, unstoppable.

The experimental equipment inside the laboratory shattered; with such a multitude of first level, second level, third-level creatures, the number likely exceeded a hundred thousand, certainly Grimm wouldn’t bother with a boring battle.

A cold laugh, Grimm stepped into the giant dent in the ground left after interacting with that World Master, breaking the Spiritual Elevator with a kick, ”whoosh” flew towards the surface.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh...

Countless plant people from the Parasitic Spore World also surged to the surface but couldn’t keep up with Grimm’s speed.

In no time, Grimm had already flown out of the surface and disappeared into the horizon.

At CF-2 Base, F-Class Evolvers living at the bottom of the food chain still lived day-to-day obliviously, the few soldiers holding spiritual weapons focused entirely on potential dangers beyond the exterior walls, unaware of the internal courtyard crises possibly emerging behind them.

Unlike the general monster legion invasion with its roars and howls, these fern plant people silently yet ferociously surged like a tide from the inner courtyard, rushing towards the blood and flesh creatures they identified as enemies.

CF-2 Base suddenly transformed into a brutal hell!

...

High in the sky, relying on physical strength for flight, Grimm held Li Qingya with one hand, vanished in a flash.

”Over there...”

Suddenly, Grimm seemed to sense something, gazing through the chaotic miasma towards the mist-covered mountain range, unable to sense the specifics due to lacking the comprehensive awareness of the Face of Truth, yet faintly perceiving the anomaly over there.

”Could it be that Devil Locustvine slumbering near CF-2 Base? Such a commotion, it seems that the invasion by the Parasitic Spore World has been detected by the not-so-distant Devil Locustvine, kakaka, this world is becoming more and more interesting!”

Aiming to follow the old director’s example by using Spiritual Technology to open world rifts, Grimm’s Avatar naturally wouldn’t get sidetracked, wasting time.

Five Hourglass periods later.

Flying at an unimaginable speed towards A Base, which inherits the highest level of remaining civilization from Spirit People, Grimm suddenly halted mid-air, turning around to gaze at the distant vague chaotic miasma.

Chirp chirp...

One of the top creatures on the food chain in the chaos apocalypse spirit human world, the S-Class Predatory Giant Eagle had long grown accustomed to its days of wanton hunting.

The king in the sky, with unmatched speed, the predatory giant eagle soared freely in the sky with its massive body spanning more than thirty meters in wingspan.

Suddenly, it seemed to sense something, as if the dignity of the sky’s king was challenged, the predatory giant eagle, chirping, rocketed speed towards the distant sensed silhouette.

Closer, even closer...

Hmm!?

At a diving distance of over five hundred meters from this unknown creature, the predatory giant eagle sensed the terrifying aura emitted by this tiny creature, so darkly twisted, evil and cruel!

Suddenly, nearly every feather on the predatory giant eagle stood on end.

With a terrified long cry, the predatory giant eagle attempted to halt its diving body to turn and flee, but its previous diving speed was too fast; even spreading its wings fully couldn’t stop its form from uncontrollably continuing its dive towards the target.

”Oh? Kakaka, a delivered S-Class Chaos Crystal Core, is it here to welcome the great Wizard’s Will?”

The small silhouette stood mid-air, Grimm’s Avatar of the Source of Oblivion swinging the Sword of Malice with his right hand, an astonishing wave of shock swept out, instantly engulfing half the sky with its immense power marks.

Bang...

Feathers scattered all over the sky, the corpse plunged to the ground.

With another S-Class Crystal Core, Grimm as an extraterrestrial demonic presence, emitting a sinister dreadful aura, continued flying towards Evolutionary Human A Base. (To be continued.
