A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 940: Chapter 932: Calamity of the Wizards (12)

The name of the world is often based on natural rules and the dominant biological groups.

Before the chaos apocalypse, Spirit People scientists who were enthusiastic about archaeological research discovered through a large number of geological fossils that in the spirit world during the ancient period, there was once an extremely powerful creature, which even once governed this world for a long time, far longer than the history of Spirit People.

They were called dinosaurs by the Spirit People.

However, such a powerful biological group mysteriously and suddenly faced extinction overnight, allowing the later Spirit People to dominate this world.

According to scientists’ research, the ferocity and cruelty of the creatures in that time far exceeded what later generations imagined. What really caused these creatures to go extinct?

Thus, scientists began to make extensive guesses based on the worldview extended from spiritual science.

There was the theory of volcanic gas migration, the theory of meteor and asteroid catastrophe, the theory of geological environmental change, and even theological theories...

However, Spirit People who wield spiritual technology, as they gradually move towards civilization and etiquette, possessing the ability to harness nature, change nature, and even destroy nature with Psy-energy Bombs, only regard those primordial creature fossils with an animal exhibition mindset.

It seems that in that sealed-off history, this world was only ruled by a group of savage and stupid giant beasts, and even the resurrection of dinosaurs in science fiction novels is merely for spirit people to view in zoos, experiencing the visual impact caused by these colossal beasts and appreciating the greatness of spiritual technology.

Indeed, Spirit People mastering spiritual technology are the protagonists of this world, leading this world to a truly glorious civilization!

...

”Spirit People World? Heh heh heh heh heh...”

A gloomy and oppressive laughter echoed from the barely visible giant sealing array beneath the underground boulders.

This is a natural grand canyon in the Spirit People World, where magma flows at the bottom and the excessive temperature causes the evaporation of a large amount of poisonous steam here constantly.

Before the chaos apocalypse, Spirit People had already discovered this canyon, but due to the toxic steam erupting here all year round, almost no creatures can survive here, and there is no development value, thus besides being frequently mentioned in science fiction novels, it was largely forgotten by Spirit People as the world’s edge.

It was surprising that the energy constituting these giant arrays was actually the balance rules!

Yes, indeed some spiritual scientists proposed some mysterious phenomena occurring in this region, yet they were labeled as pseudoscience or unknown black science, future science, considered superstition in the era of spiritual technology.

”It’s time to revive this world anew, supreme destiny, after so many years, the dinosaur world has accepted enough punishment for violating the Destiny Contract, this world cannot continue its decline like this, losing the will of the World Master, losing the Guardian, this world has already lost all its past glory...”

Under the Destiny Stone Array Seal, drawn by certain auras, countless hybrid mosquitoes fly in endlessly, while others fly out ceaselessly from within.

Yet most notable is that ordinary mutant mosquitoes from the Spirit World flying in seem to evolve to a higher mutation level after passing through the sealing array.

And the mosquitoes with the deepest mutations transform into Ancient Dragon People under certain catalysts!

One after another Ancient Dragon Person, nearly ten thousand, ranging from the lowest B-Class Creature to the highest reaching S-Class, gathered together completing the world will induction in the canyon’s high air, absolutely unbelievable.

Everything happening here entirely overturned the Wizards’ understanding of this world!

At this moment, amidst chaotic spatial vibrations in the sky, these Ancient Dragon People were chanting a destiny contract formed by rules, high-pitched and powerful, this destiny contract seemed to exist for a very long time, requiring so many Ancient Dragon People to gather world will to manifest anew.

These Ancient Dragon People were summoning exotic creatures in accordance with the contract to descend upon the Spirit People World.

Thunderforce blasted incessantly in the air, this contract summoning seemed to have been ongoing for a very long time, until today, the contract’s effectiveness finally at full play, even the Thunder shadows on that side were already becoming impatient.

”Hahaha, Tyrannosaurus Rex, how does it feel to endure the punishment of the Destiny Contract?”

The mocking voice of the Thunder shadow resonated, laughing with delight!

Back then, Explosive Thunder World and dinosaur world exchanged Destiny Contracts, forming a so-called world alliance to seize the discourse power in the world standings during that chaotic era.

However, when Explosive Thunder World underwent a dramatic change summoning dinosaur world for full help according to the Destiny Contract, due to the enemies of the Explosive Thunder World being too strong, nearly insurmountable, fearing collateral damage, the dinosaur world chose to retreat, chose to defy the Destiny Contract, chose betrayal.

Subsequently, the events overturned completely.

The fear of collateral damage didn’t bring safety to the dinosaur world by withdrawing involvement in Explosive Thunder World, instead they faced destiny’s punishment, causing destructive meteor showers to descend from the sky inexplicably, unleashing an unprecedented catastrophe!

Whereas Explosive Thunder World somehow obtained an unexpected turnaround escaping calamity.

That unexpected turnaround seemed so natural, from beginning to end, it progressed logically, happening naturally, not even a miracle, even unrelated to destiny, it just naturally occurred, yet it was such a coincidence.

Countless primordial creatures became extinct within a short time, depreciating world will, forcing the declining World Masters to fall into self-induced slumber seals.

Until a hundred years ago.

And as rulers of the ancient world awakened from self-induced slumber with the advent of chaos apocalypse, they discovered that their self-imposed seal got superimposed with a layer of destiny’s punishment, buried deep underground unable to escape, requiring immensely powerful external force to break.

Thus, sealed World Masters cultivated Ancient Dragon People, invoked the Destiny Contract summoning those allies they once betrayed, and over a hundred years have passed.

Also due to this seal’s existence, Earth Vein World, Dark Night World didn’t invade at first opportunity, postponing again and again!

Whereas the Devil Locustvine urgently sought to open the chaos world rift for the second time, attempting to achieve the World Tree in this world, exclude world will revival.

As for Explosive Thunder World, it was compelled to descend solely due to the undeniable Destiny Contract.

”The mistakes once committed by the dinosaur world have now been fully borne, received appropriate punishments. Heh heh, indeed, our kind once betrayed Explosive Thunder World, yet seeing the result now, dare you betray our kind, defy the once signed Destiny Contract?”

Heh heh heh heh...
