A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 677: Chapter 677: Shadow Pursuit (Part 2)

Fly People World, branch of the Dark Night Red Gauze Cult.

Looking at Bikdan, who was pale and unconscious, Akdez was troubled. In the past two months, with the increasing information about the wizards descending upon the Fly People World and starting to attack and slaughter the Red Fly-Men, Akdez, who was in charge of the Skomoylo Mountains area, had become the ”hardest hit area.”

Outside the Hall of Skeletons, a Level 1 Red Flyman ran in.

”Elder Akdez, this is the intelligence information collected yesterday.”

Picking up the beastskin parchment, Akdez looked over it, and his face became increasingly ugly and angry, his body even began to tremble, gripping the parchment so tightly that his veins bulged.

Bang!

The bone table collapsed as Akdez slammed it in his anger, and an invisible wave of pressure rolled around him, making the Level 1 Red Flyman who delivered the information freeze in fear.

”These Green Fly People are the wizards’ slaves!”

It must be said, the sudden arrival of these terrifying wizards had severely hindered the Red Fly-Men’s original plan of silent development, even endangering their survival.

This time, the Green Fly People actually plan to completely annihilate all Red Fly-Men!

Realizing his loss of composure, Akdez, still angry, gestured for the Level 1 Red Flyman who delivered the information to leave. Just then, the unconscious Bikdan awoke and softly said, ”Father.”

”You’re awake? Rest well; I will handle everything here. You must recover and dedicate your life to the Shadow Red Gauze plan in the future!”

Akdez comforted Bikdan, and with a gentle wave of the scepter in his hand, he drew a wisp of the blood-colored flame from the Blood Bone Altar and directed it into Bikdan’s body.

Bikdan let out a comfortable moan before falling back into sleep.

”Sigh...”

With a sigh, Akdez left the hall, and the bone armored door creaked shut.

In the center of the hall, Green watched the blood-colored flame burning on the Blood Bone Altar with a dazed look in his eyes.

This was not flame; it was a kind of blood energy representing slaughter and cruelty, likely a power mastered by some warlike race and ”borrowed” to the Red Fly-Men under the Shadow Red Gauze through unknown means.

Could there really be a Different World daring to defy the Wizarding Alliance’s rules and meddle with this world!?

Even though he hadn’t taken a full tour of this Shadow Red Gauze Cult branch, its scale, area, and the number of Red Fly-Men it housed far exceeded the previous Red Fly-Man tribe, and it even had a Level-3 Red Fly Elder stationed there!

Taking out the Crystal Ball, Green checked the Seven-Ring Holy Tower Rankings points and saw a hesitant look in the eyes behind the Green Truth Mask.

At this moment, the top wizard on the Seven-Ring Holy Tower Rankings only had eight hundred seventy-two points, and if Green could eliminate this Shadow Red Gauze branch, or even assassinate the Shadow Red Gauze Elder here, the one thousand points would be enough for Green to temporarily rank first on the Seven-Ring Holy Tower Rankings.

Not to mention the Second Level Red Fly People.

With Green’s current strength, creatures below the World Master level could hardly pose a significant threat to him, at least not the ordinary Third-Level Creatures.

But ultimately, after hesitating for a long time, Green sighed quietly, gritting his teeth and choosing not to act, just standing silently and waiting.

Time passed...

Every day, Green followed Akdez, waiting.

That day, Green suddenly took out the Crystal Ball; it turned out that the Seven-Ring Holy Tower Rankings had undergone a significant change.

A few previously unknown Demon-Hunting Sorcerers suddenly saw a surge in points, taking the top spots on the list, but it was unclear what had happened.

Green quietly put away the Crystal Ball, remained composed, and continued to follow Elder Akdez of the Shadow Red Gauze Cult Organization.

Three months later.

Still at zero points, Green pushed his patience to the limit, unmoved by any changes in the Seven-Ring Holy Tower Rankings, following Akdez daily, listening to his decisions, watching his angry frenzy, and attempting with him to ensnare and hunt Demon-Hunting Sorcerers!

Through it all, Green seemed to not exist, becoming a shadow attached to Akdez, unmoved by everything he did.

Today, the exhausted Akdez looked at the stack of beastskin parchment on the bone armor table and sighed in despair.

”It’s over. These sorcerers have almost wiped out our forces in the Skomoylo Mountains area; we can’t stay here any longer.”

Akdez sighed, speaking to Bikdan.

”Father, what do you mean?”

Akdez, filled with frustration and unwillingness, said deeply, ”We must retreat to the Blood Bone Asura Altar to seek Shadow Red Gauze Your Majesty, abandon everything here, and hide from the wizards’ edge; they can’t stay in this world forever.”

In a silent corner, under the swirling whirlpool of the Robe of Appearances, Green’s eyes behind the Green Truth Mask leaped with Element Light, burning fiercely.

Finally, the moment had arrived!

At the same time, Green noticed a term: Blood Bone Asura Altar?

The Asura World—during Green’s first Demon Hunting Expedition to the Shadow Mystery World as a Demon Hunter Novice, he learned about the ancient history of the Shadow Mystery.

In the Ancient Period, powerful Magma Giants ruled the Fire Crystal World. They discovered a world rift connecting to the Asura World, launched a world war, and were defeated by the Asura World. The world rift was sealed with the World’s Power, leading to the Shadow Mystery Catastrophe.

Thus, the Amonro Clan, once the fodder for the Magma Giants, grew stronger after the catastrophe, eventually replacing the Magma Giants and becoming the masters of that world, renamed the Shadow Mystery World.

This indicates that the once mighty Fire Crystal World fell due to the even more powerful Asura World.

But now, could this Different World connected by the Shadow Red Gauze possibly be the Asura World that caused the Fire Crystal World to fall?

...

One month later.

In the depths of the underground channels, winding and mysterious, was an endless black stream exuding a chilling aura.

This was an extreme disastrous environment beneath the Fly People World.

On an island piled with countless white bones, a hundred-meter Blood Bone Altar burned with a fierce blood-colored flame, exuding a cruel and murderous intent with a bone-chilling coldness!

On the throne of piled white bones, an ancient Red Flyman opened his eyes, blood-red light swept past Akdez and many other Red Fly-Men, landing on an empty corner.

”Come out, the hidden shadow under the eyes.” (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian () to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please go to m. to read.)
