A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 654: Chapter 654: Tidal Giant

Amend the mission contract to seek some personal benefits.

This is precisely why the Wither Tower Stigmata Sorcerer said so, considering Green has a First-Level Honor Medal and a great chance of achieving stigmata in the future.

In other words, how to strategize this Tidal World wasn’t a major concern for the two Stigmata Sorcerers.

If they could effortlessly pull this world into the Wizarding Alliance, it would be excellent. If the other party refuses, forcibly attacking wouldn’t matter either, it would just cost time and effort, with potential risks of external Honor Medal leakage, but the private spoils would be even more astonishing afterward.

Green naturally hoped to sign a peace treaty of the Wizarding Alliance with them.

If the peace treaty is signed, then world war wouldn’t occur. As the peace envoy submitting the contract for this Demon Hunting expedition, Green’s influence rate would skyrocket, and the rewards would certainly not be low.

As a result, Green didn’t even consider adding conditions for personal gain on the Destiny Contract, as doing so would only lessen the chances of the peace treaty being signed and increase the riskiness of Green’s mission!

However...

Lin had grown accustomed to being the center of attention, automatically ignoring the whisperings of the Demon-Hunting Sorcerers around him. While deep in thought, Green suddenly took out the Destiny Contract.

”Assisting Wizard World in recovering all Titan’s Spear relics in the Tidal World, and for each Titan’s Spear retrieved, Wizard World will pay a reward of ten thousand Wizard Currencies.”

Activating the Wizard’s Will, Green added this clause to the Destiny Contract, then strode back onto the back of the Thousand-Eyed Giant Crab.

”Master, what’s happening in this world? Little Wan and I have long been ** impatient, hahaha, did you see our father and son’s high spirits for slaughter?”

Xiao Ba shouted at the top of his lungs.

The Enigmatic Thousand Head Serpent imitated Xiao Ba, stretching its eleven heads and screaming ”hohoho” and ”chatter” chaotically.

”Alright, alright, I need to make a trip to this world’s Pearl Strait, you wait here. If my mission goes smoothly, we might be back to the Wizard World soon.”

Green recounted the issue of the Destiny Contract.

”Ga? Surrendering...”

Xiao Ba was instantly disappointed.

During the Ancient Wizard’s conquest of the Different World, Xiao Ba had witnessed too many surrenders.

Often as the Ancient Wizard rode the colossal Sky City, which seemed like a flying continent, descending from the void to some lesser world, indigenous rulers facing such overwhelmingly dreadful Ancient Wizards opt for unconditional surrender, leaving themselves at the mercy of the Ancient Wizard.

On the Sky City, it was easy for hundreds of Space Fortresses to appear, each with hundreds of Space Airships, and an endless flood of Soul Slave Legions...

......

Under the orders of the Combat Command, no Demon-Hunting Sorcerer left the Space Fortress, all were on standby for the latest instructions from the Combat Command.

Only the Soul Slaves flew in the sky or rested on the fortresses, more played in the sea, occasionally diving to catch some local delicacies of this world.

In general, the Wizard World maintained restraint and did not cause significant impact or destruction to this world.

Flying down from the Space Fortress, amid the salutes from several patrolling Demon-Hunting Sorcerers, Green nodded and was about to fly towards the coordinates of the Pearl Strait he received when suddenly, below a section of the sea under the Space Fortress, erupted into chaos, the waves rolled, and the Slave Monsters that were frolicking there started demonstrating their presence with roars.

......

Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish...

The patrolling sorcerers rushed towards the chaotic sea area, and thousands of nearby Slave Monsters also flew up, gathering around that area, the sky crowded with dark shadows, all growling and roaring.

”What’s going on!?”

Constantine led a patrol team of over a dozen Demon-Hunting Bright Wizards into the chaotic crowd of Slave Monsters. Upon catching a whiff of blood, assuming it was an attack, elements gathered as they discovered several Oceanic Creatures surrounded by the overbearing dark clump of Slave Monsters on the sea surface.

A body about five meters tall, its lower half resembling a snake’s tail, its upper half covered in metallic-like blue-green scales and bone armor, wielding a weapon resembling a metal anchor, with slit pupils and cold eyes, broad and powerful arms.

Tidal Giants?

Constantine had personally dissected a Tidal Giant specimen before the Demon Hunting Expedition, naturally familiar with such creatures.

What are these Tidal Giants suddenly doing here?

The scene was too chaotic, the scent of blood from one of the Tidal Giants greatly stimulated the senses of the nearby Slave Monsters, and while the nearby Demon-Hunting Sorcerers continuously gathered, everyone wanted to understand what was happening, but in the end, no one could figure it out.

The Tidal Giants, surrounded by numerous Demon-Hunting Sorcerers and Slave Monsters, looked so helpless, unable to swing their anchor-shaped weapons but only desperately howling at the surrounding monsters, but due to the language barrier, it was futile, and everyone wanted to communicate but the disordered soul waves disrupted the soul communication among the Demon-Hunting Sorcerers.

”Quiet!”

Seeing the chaotic scene about to spiral out of control, with several Tidal Giants on the verge of retreating in fear, and with many Slave Monsters and Demon-Hunting Sorcerers about to attempt to capture them, suddenly a low ”Quiet” rippled out with the Wizarding Source Will, and instantly, whether it was Soul Slaves or Demon-Hunting Sorcerers, they all quieted down.

The few Tidal Giants, half submerged, froze, and looked up, only to see the dark sky of countless Slave Monsters and Demon-Hunting Sorcerers make way, as a noble wizard slowly descended amidst the glistening Slave Monsters.

This person was Green.

With the attempts for communication via numerous soul waves fading, Green gazed at the few suddenly appearing Tidal Giants; one was a third-level Tidal Giant, the other four were only first-level, and established soul communication.

”Are you a wizard from the Wizard World?”

Just as soul communication started, Green hadn’t even begun soul interrogation when this third-level Tidal Giant asked first, and seemingly knew information about the Wizard World!

”Yes.”

Green was stunned for a moment, calmly nodding, waiting for this clearly prepared Tidal Giant’s true intentions.

Seeing Green acknowledge he was indeed a wizard from the Wizard World, the Tidal Giants exchanged a few hoarse and low words in their native language and suddenly uttered ”Wow,” spitting out a large number of pearls from their bellies, emitting pure energy waves. Subsequently, a giant shell contained these pearls, held aloft by the leader of the Tidal Giants with one hand over its head.

”Oh noble and powerful wizards, the Tidal World is willing to join the Wizarding Alliance to maintain Tidal World’s peace.” (To be continued...
