Ning An's Wild Wish System

”Ignoring the law, I suggest giving an immediate penalty with a severe beating, an execution by baton.”

...

Watching the woman’s family walk away, Ning An spoke leisurely: ”Captain Zheng, do you think there’s still a chance to turn this case around?”

Zheng Kaiping, resigned to his fate, smiled bitterly and said, ”There definitely is, as long as we can figure out what the couple discussed and what happened in the marital room. If we can provide evidence for that, the case can be turned around!”

Then, he turned to Mother Cao and sighed: ”Auntie, it’s really not our fault, it’s that we can’t find any objective evidence beneficial to your son, and the woman...”

”I don’t blame you, I don’t blame you, it’s our misfortune...”

Mother Cao, holding Father Cao’s hand, shook her head helplessly, already in tears.

”Damn it!”

Officer Xiaoli, who had been bottling up his anger, punched the air forcefully.

No matter how disgusting the woman is or how innocent the man is, it’s the chain of consequences that this incident has brought that angers him immensely.

If the deadlock continues, this case is bound to ferment in favor of the woman.

If this sets a precedent, those with ulterior motives will certainly seize this opportunity to open the floodgates, and who knows how much trouble will stem from it later!

As everyone’s expressions fluctuated, Zheng Kaiping’s phone rang.

Seeing the remark on the screen, his expression instantly turned serious, he apologized to Ning An and went straight to a secluded corner, quietly saying: ”Director Wang, what’s up?”

An excited voice came from the other end of the phone: ”Xiaozheng, good news, good news!”

Zheng Kaiping’s breathing became rapid: ”Could it be that my application has been approved?”

”Ahem ahem.” The other end of the call awkwardly coughed twice, then said, ”Your application is still being processed, we’ve just arrested the offline headquarters of a porn website.”

”Oh~” Zheng Kaiping’s voice instantly turned listless: ”Congratulations to the brothers who handled the case, they’ve achieved great merit. I’ll find them for a drink when I return, if there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up, I’m quite busy here.”

The other end of the line was annoyed and directly said: ”About the case you’re handling, the male side hasn’t had substantial evidence, but we’ve found it.”

”Alright, alright, good...”

Zheng Kaiping responded perfunctorily, yawning while preparing to hang up the phone, suddenly his neck stiffened: ”Director Wang, what did you say? I didn’t hear clearly just now, could you say it again!”

”Haha, you kid.” The voice on the other end laughed and said, ”Well, as it turns out, when we caught that group, their leader seemed to know some law and was the first to express an intention to contribute.”

”What kind of law did he learn, and not learned fully either.” Zheng Kaiping was amused too, then asked curiously:

”But how could a guy working in porn be related to a marriage dispute case and even provide evidence? It sounds quite far-fetched.”

”That’s the coincidence, his main job is home renovations, and when he does them, he installs some hidden cameras to make his material and edits.” The voice on the other end chuckled and said: ”What’s more coincidental is that the new house renovation was done by him, and everything that happened in the room was clearly recorded by the cameras!”

Thud!

Thud!

Zheng Kaiping had never felt so thrilled today, he felt somewhat dizzy, and asked in a low voice: ”So, in the surveillance video...”

”I’ve already sent it to you, and we’ve also resubmitted the material evidence to the court, there’s likely to be a retrial in the coming days.” Director Wang emphasized again: ”This video cannot be shown to the public for now, as for the other details, handle them as you see fit.”

”Understood!”

After hanging up, sure enough, there was a new video on his phone.

Zheng Kaiping took a deep breath and clicked directly into it.

At the start of the video, Mr. Fan held the curtain in one hand and a lighter in the other, fiercely saying to Mr. Cao: ”The bride price must be given in full, and my name must be added to the property certificate!”

”And the bride price must increase by another hundred thousand, I am such a good girl, you are taking advantage of me for being with you, a useless person! I must secure some guarantee for myself!”

Seeing Mr. Cao not reacting, Mr. Fan directly pressed the lighter switch and threatened again: ”Alright, alright, you disagree, huh? Then don’t even think about having this house!”

Only then did Mr. Cao turn his head to look at her, still not speaking, just rolling his eyes.

Mr. Fan was immediately infuriated, directly igniting the curtain with the lighter, meanwhile walking towards the door, cursing while walking: ”I’m telling you, you poor ghost, you can only dream about sleeping with me!”

”I’m telling you, I agreed to marry you for your family’s bride price, no money and you want to sleep with me? Have money first, then I’ll sleep with you, until then, ha!”

While touching the doorknob, she turned her head and angrily cursed: ”I thought you’d give me money, so I came back to sleep with you. If you don’t give me money, you won’t have a good time either, do you really take me for a street prostitute? A little money and you want to **** me? Go **** with your shameless mother!”

The event unfolded quickly, Mr. Cao clearly didn’t react in time, his eyes widened, obviously helpless.

”No, are you an insane idiot? Not marrying, not sleeping together is fine, you’re going to set the curtain on fire to die? Come back and put out the fire!”

The fire on the curtain grew stronger, and Mr. Fan exited through the door, Mr. Cao got up from the sofa and rushed straight out the door.

Seeing this, Zheng Kaiping understood everything clearly.
