Ning An's Wild Wish System

And offline, even though both parties have entered the Daoist Temple, they still continue to chatter incessantly.

The brilliance of language is so impressive, anywhere else it would make Ning An applaud.

It was at this moment that Captain Zheng, having heard the noise, walked out of the temple with a frown.

At a glance, sure enough, it’s those two families.

Immediately, Captain Zheng’s face turned into a bitter gourd, and he shouted, ”If you want to burn incense, then burn incense, if not, go outside to argue!”

Initially still arguing, the two parties hush instantly upon seeing Captain Zheng.

Soon, Fan’s Mother couldn’t help but mutter softly, ”The evidence is solid, the man forcibly mated, my daughter has suffered so much, why didn’t the court and police convict him?”

”Must my daughter be forced to threaten with her life to claim innocence?”

Upon hearing this, how could the man’s side endure, immediately Mother Cao stood up, furious: ”Clean your mom’s ass!”

”Just your daughter? What a sanctimonious hypocrite she is, aren’t you disgusted! Every time you let your daughter hold weddings with other men without getting marriage certificates, each time using forced mating as a threat, and you dare make money off of that?”

Saying this while pulling Father Cao, who was also deeply resentful, bitterly complain to Captain Zheng:

”Captain Zheng, you judge, is this how one behaves?”

”Just because my son refuses to increase the dowry, refuses to put her name on the property certificate in advance, she flipped it and accused my son of crime, directly getting him in jail, is there no justice left?”

Father Cao’s face is haggard, wearing presbyopic glasses, neatly dressed, quite a bit of a scholarly demeanor.

Yet at this moment, taking off his glasses, wiping nose and tears, he was merely an old father with deep love for his son.

”Don’t you act pitiful here with me, it’s useless! The court’s verdict is crystal clear, and the police, if there is insufficient evidence, how can they keep your son locked up all this while? Shrew, I advise you to go home and read more about the law, lest come out to embarrass yourself.”

Fan’s Mother looked arrogant, had she not said this, it would have been fine, but upon saying this, Mother Cao directly began rampaging, charging forward grabbing hair and ears, hitting while cursing:

”Bitch, only you know law, only you are well-read! Did the saints in those books teach you to be this kind of beast? Cheating people out of dowry and houses, and then damn putting them in prison, if your ancestors came back alive, they’d dunk you in a pig cage at first chance!”

The scene instantly turned into chaos.

Looking at this scene, those originally sympathetic toward the man felt even angrier.

”Damn it! Sentence him, who can outlive who? Anyway, I’ve made up my mind to take care of my parents in their later years, then lie comfortably in a nursing home myself, whichever lad serves me well, I’ll leave him my inheritance.”

”Treat us ordinary folks like cattle? No problem, we can be cattle, as long as we don’t have to reproduce, they can’t forcibly give me a wife, can they?”

”My suggestion is, what deserves death penalty should be death penalty, what deserves shooting should be shooting, absolutely cannot leave him a way out, otherwise us bottom-dwellers truly have no way to live.”

”Damn it! These government folks, simply don’t understand they’re handling not just a case, but someone else’s life!”

Where does the authority of the law come from? From the most fundamental emotional anticipation of the people, everyone seeks only fairness and justice!

Law is meant to raise the cost of crime for bad people, not to increase the cost of action for good people!

”Damn! Above there, the brothers are cultured folks, simply voiced my inner thoughts!”

”Ah hey, no, I’m also a coarse person, happened to watch a movie recently, felt the lines inside were quite apt, just couldn’t help but say them.”

...

The chaos on scene had Officer Xiaoli, who just returned to see what’s up, completely defenseless, marching forward to break up a fight, muttering ”damn it” through clenched teeth.

Under the gathering of onlookers, finally, Captain Zheng and Officer Xiaoli managed to calm down the two families, pulling them to either side.

Looking at the two families with red eyes, the weary Captain Zheng’s frown became even deeper.

At this moment, he wished to slap himself twice, why bother coming here to burn incense for no reason?

Isn’t it great staying at the precinct?

At the very least, staying at the precinct, there’s someone to share the mess with him.

Captain Zheng rubs his forehead, sternly says: ”This is a public place, not a spot in your village to hurl curses!”

”Whoever dares stir up trouble again, don’t blame me for being merciless with the handcuffs, I’ll immediately haul them away!”

The single word ”haul away” instantly clears both parties’ eyes, though still glaring, their mouths tightly sealed.

Seeing the scene under control, Captain Zheng then turned around, apologizing to Ning An: ”Daoist Ning, you see their situation, can we let them burn incense first?”

With Changchun Temple thriving, incense burners like dragons, the queue for incense long enough not to see the end, cutting in line for incense naturally isn’t polite.

But Captain Zheng is in a bind, these two families are like powder kegs, if not separated quickly, no one knows when it might explode.

However, before Ning An could speak, the incense burners ahead grew excited, instantly moved aside opening a spot in front.

The incense burners behind swiftly crowded forward, faces not showing a hint of displeasure, instead filled with excitement.

”Captain Zheng, I don’t mind, I’m willing to let them burn incense first.”

”Hey hey, I don’t mind either, but I have a condition, they’ve got to explain the whole situation first, won’t take long.”

”Exactly, allow the spot, but explain it.”

”...”

The onlooking crowd starts coaxing.

Everyone coming for incense was indeed attracted by Changchun Temple’s reputed efficacy, but the chances aren’t that high.

And with such a nationwide sensational case, the odds are absurdly low, if there’s a rare chance to encounter it in person, wanting the Dragon Country people to let go of this gossip opportunity is simply wishful thinking.

Ning An was secretly delighted, he also wanted to know the full story, but his identity wouldn’t allow him to speak directly.

Now it’s good, his incense burners are too supportive, it’s like a child is hungry, and the nurse happens to be lactating spontaneously.

”Captain Zheng, you saw it too, this...” Ning An looked at him, though delighted in heart, his face furrowed with some helplessness in the tone.

Captain Zheng turned around, said irritably: ”You decide yourselves, incense or no incense?”

”Burn it!”

”Must burn it!”

The two families almost shouted in unison, glancing at each other, nearly sparking fire.

Soon, amidst a cacophony from both sides, the whole incident was basically restored.

Not much different from the mainstream information on the internet, though compared to the official website mostly having female testimony and post-event evidence, now there’s much more information from the man’s side.

According to Mother Cao, when Fan’s Mother came accusing, her son was still upset, plus nobody expected she’d bring a voice recorder with her, hence spoke particularly awkwardly.

”She came right up and asked my son, have you reached an agreement?”

”Testing my son’s words, she said: Your engagement is an undeniable fact right? My son answered! ’Hmm, yes.’”

”Seeing opportunity, she inadvertently asked: Then it’s undeniable you raped our daughter, isn’t it? My son was upset, out of respect for the elder, didn’t want a verbal confrontation, anything she said he replied ’hmm’, ’understand’, ’yes’, who expects their in-laws to bring a voice recorder and trap them, is that even human?”

”Damn it, such a beast isn’t jailed, instead makes my poor son enter, is there no justice~~”

Mother Cao instantly became a crying mess, beside her Father Cao gently patted her back, glaring angrily at Fan’s family.

Fan’s Mother not willing to show weakness, retorted: ”Your son said it himself, none of my business! I tell you! That charge of forced mating, your son can’t wash off, just wait for your future grandchildren to have a criminal father on their record.”

”Oh, almost forgot, you might not have any of them.”

Fan’s Mother exaggeratedly covering her mouth, face displaying false sympathy:

”In today’s society, no girl would be willing to marry someone who has been in prison, will they? Won’t they, won’t they.”
