Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2732: Chapter 2732: Can We Still Leave?

She is the Empress Dowager, second to none but the Emperor, the Empress Dowager whose coming and going is not for a young eunuch to comment on?

”Servant...”

The young eunuch wanted to speak again but was tugged by the sleeve by his companion.

Right then, he stopped talking and stepped aside to watch as events unfolded. He felt quite wronged, thinking he was kindly reminding them, yet was scolded instead.

Though these days they were reprimanded daily by the Retired Emperor, it still felt different from being scolded by the Empress Dowager.

Here with the Retired Emperor, they were assigned to monitor him, so they bore the scolding. But just now, he had only spoken up as a friendly reminder.

If those two were really to lay hands on the Empress Dowager, wouldn’t she be seriously hurt?

Yet unfortunately, the Empress Dowager did not recognize a kind heart.

He had nothing more to say, expecting that after the blow, she would realize the importance of his reminder. He waited.

Indeed, the young eunuch was correct; within a few verbal exchanges, one of the Paper Persons swung the Empress Dowager away, causing her to crash onto a chair.

”Ah!”

The Empress Dowager screamed. Though not severely injured, she was painfully struck by the hard chair.

”Insolence, how dare you throw me, you...”

She looked up at the two Paper Persons, her face full of disbelief.

She is the Empress Dowager. Since entering the palace, aside from the Retired Emperor, no one dared to lay a hand on her. Now, she was struck before the eyes of a servant.

But before she could finish scolding, the indifferent gaze of the Paper Persons abruptly ended her words.

She recalled that these two even dared to strike the Retired Emperor; now that the Retired Emperor lay bedridden, what would they care about her as the Empress Dowager?

But wasn’t Prince An Yang too audacious to send anyone into the palace without the Emperor’s intervention?

”What are you two standing there for? Why aren’t you helping me up?” She restrained her fury toward the Paper Persons and vented it toward the young eunuchs.

The two young eunuchs were bewildered by her shout, wondering what this had to do with them. She was thrown because she ignored advice.

”Empress Dowager, the Emperor instructed that we are only to watch over the Retired Emperor, and need not concern ourselves with other matters.”

Earlier, they were told not to speak, so they saw no need to step forward, preferring to vigilantly watch over the unconscious Retired Emperor.

Once someone has been sent here by Eunuch Fu, is it possible to leave?

They truly saw no need to ingratiate themselves with the Empress Dowager.

”I reckon the Retired Emperor is about to wake up, we need to be on guard. Empress Dowager, you should get up on your own, or call out; aren’t your palace maids still outside? They will surely come in to help you,” said the other young eunuch.

”You, you...”

The Empress Dowager was stunned by their attitude.

She is the Empress Dowager, being contradicted by two young eunuchs; to say she was not furious would be untrue.

But now, she was not thinking about anger, but rather her own situation. If not knowing her influence was waning, how could two mere young eunuchs speak to her like this?

Could it be because of the Gong brothers’ matter, the Emperor found her meddling, intending to confine her like the Retired Emperor?
