Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2725: Chapter 2725: That Makes Sense

”It’s possible too.”

Yi Nuo thought for a moment and nodded.

What if he was talented at something else, wouldn’t it be a big loss if he didn’t continue?

”Then next time, we’ll make something else. Mom knows how to make a lot of things. Even if we don’t learn from mom, we can learn from dad; he knows how to cook even more dishes,” he said.

Ever since he could remember, he saw dad in the kitchen, while mom only went in once or twice occasionally.

”Dad, next time you can teach us to make braised pork, that definitely won’t be bitter,” he said, looking up at his dad.

Just as Qian Jiyun was placing the fried lotus flowers on a plate as his wife instructed, he paused in his steps when he heard his son’s words.

The fried lotus turned out like this, and his son wants to challenge the high-skill dish of braised pork?

”Alright, I’ll teach you next time.”

He held out the plate in front of the little guys.

”But, let me tell you all in advance, when you learn to cook in the future, whoever makes the dish has to finish it themselves, we can’t waste food,” he said seriously to the four little ones.

”What?”

Yi Nuo was stunned.

Finish it? What if his dish didn’t turn out well, what then?

Suddenly he regretted asking dad to teach them. Had he known earlier, he would’ve asked mom to teach them, she definitely wouldn’t make them finish all their own cooking.

”Well...”

”Not willing?”

Qian Jiyun looked amusingly at his son’s little conflicted expression.

”That’s alright too, you four brothers can help each other eat, but no wasting food, Nuonuo, you saw it before in the Northern Lands, people there even peel off tree bark to eat, they’re so miserable, we need to save food for them, right?”

”Seems... That makes sense.”

Yi Nuo recalled seeing the people in the Northern Lands before, how hungry they all looked. If he had any food, he would definitely have given it to them.

”Nuonuo, I think we’re still young, let’s learn to cook when we’re older,” Yi Zhou quickly added when he saw their dad almost convinced his little brother to drag them into it.

What if one of them really is a kitchen hazard and what they make is inedible, then what do we do?

So, before it comes to that, let’s wait until we’re a bit older. Maybe then we’ll learn better, at least it won’t be as hard to eat as those fried lotus leaves.

”Yes, Nuonuo, we’re still young, we don’t need to cook now,” Yi Xing nodded in agreement.

Although he didn’t think his cooking would be that bad, it wouldn’t be great either. Better not drag his brothers into it.

”Alright then, we can wait on this matter.” Yi Nuo wasn’t really eager to cook; he was just momentarily interested in making some food.

He has dad and mom, there’s no need for him to cook.

”Brothers, let’s eat the fried lotus flowers first, they smell so good. After we’ve eaten, we can talk about other things.” The food is right in front of them, they can’t just not eat it, right?

As for the braised pork, that can wait. Just considering dad’s condition, it’s completely impossible for him to meet it at his age.

...

The next day.

After returning from the Ministry of Revenue, the Head of the Ye Family swept everything off the desk in the study to the floor.
