Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2724: Chapter 2724: And Then It Flopped

The three little brothers also got up and chased after him, while the maids who helped them watch the small stove moved the smoking oil pot to the ground, preventing it from burning on the fire.

”Mother, mother, it’s bitter, it’s bitter, the lotus petals are bitter.”

The little baby shouted as he ran, knowing that his mother was also frying lotus petals, so he had to quickly remind her to stop.

”All the lotuses here are bitter, not tasty, mother, stop frying them, you’re just wasting your effort.” He didn’t want his mother to work so hard for nothing, how unfair would that be!

”Let’s make something else, other dishes are delicious.”

An Jiuyue turned her head and looked at this silly son, using her chopsticks to put a lotus petal covered in batter into the oil pot, which made a ’sizzling’ sound.

”Little fool, go help your father pick vegetables. Soon you can eat the fried lotus.”

Actually, she didn’t think these fried lotus petals were particularly tasty, after all, they were just lotus petals wrapped in batter. But since the little ones were interested, she was happy to oblige.

”Be good, go help out. Next time you want to fry lotus petals, tell me, and I’ll get the Seven-Colored Lotus Flowers from the space.” She said softly.

On hearing this, the little baby finally understood.

”I was wondering why these fried lotus petals were bitter. It turns out the ones mother fried before were from the space. No wonder!” His enlightened expression amused the couple in the kitchen and made them laugh.

”Mother, are you frying them now? So they’ll be ready to eat soon, right?” He tiptoed, peering at his mother’s oil pot.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t tall enough to see over the stove, so he could only hear the sounds and, of course, the aroma that was making him drool.

”Yes, Brother Lu, Brother Xing, Brother Zhou, it’s this aroma, it’s especially fragrant!” He remembered now, it was this fragrance that his mother was frying up. He wouldn’t forget it.

The three little kiddos also came in, and when they smelled the aroma, they were momentarily stunned.

When they were frying earlier, although there was a fragrance, it was definitely different. Mother’s fried lotus blossoms had a hint of sweetness to the aroma, the kind that smelled really nice.

”I smell it, it’s so fragrant and sweet.”

An Yilu stepped forward, came beside Qian Yinuo, and raised his hand to pat the little baby’s head.

”Just as Nuonuo said, it’s sweet and fragrant.”

”Yes, just like that.”

The little baby’s eyes sparkled with stars. At this point, they didn’t leave anymore; they just stayed in the kitchen to help their father pick vegetables, while their father had completed his task and went to do other work.

”Brother Lu, in the future, we can’t just copy everything we see and try to make it, because we can’t do it well.” The little baby whispered to the three brothers.

Look, the fried lotus petals turned out a mess. Earlier he had proudly thought about competing with his mother to see who could fry them better and faster.

In the end, mother is mother, and even the ingredients she used are different from his. How could he possibly compete with that?

”Not necessarily. Just because the fried lotus petals didn’t turn out well doesn’t mean other dishes won’t. What if you do well on something else?” An Yilu thought that nothing is absolute. What if he just messed up this one dish, but in other dishes, turns out to be a genius?

Just like his studies, none of the older brothers at the academy could compare to him one by one.

That’s his skill!
