Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 841: Chapter 884: I Can’t Sleep Without You

However, Ye Shan was too useless and could not gain the forgiveness of Ye Anxin and her mother!

Because of this, she had to postpone her plan, waiting until now to find the right timing!

Although there was a little accident in the middle, the final outcome was still good! At least she won! Now the woman beside Mu Beiting is her, Ruan Zhitong! Ruan Zhitong, who has an identical face to Ye Anxin’s.

Just as Ruan Zhitong was lost in thought, Mu Beiting’s concerned voice suddenly sounded outside the bathroom door, ”Honey, how are you? Are you okay?”

Ruan Zhitong snapped back to reality, replying quickly, ”I’m fine, I’m changing clothes! I’m afraid of touching the wound on my body, so I’m changing a bit slowly!”

Mu Beiting’s voice came again from outside the bathroom door, ”If it’s inconvenient, just let me know. I’m right outside!”

”Okay! I know!” Ruan Zhitong replied, turning on the heater and taking off her clothes, washing herself thoroughly under it.

To avoid hot water hitting the wound, Ruan Zhitong was always very careful, making the whole bathing process relatively long!

After she finished bathing, she directly took the clean towel placed in the bathroom and wrapped it around herself, opened the bathroom door, and walked out!

As she walked out of the bathroom, Mu Beiting happened to bring a set of clean pajamas over!

Mu Beiting handed the towel in his hand to Ruan Zhitong, ”These are the clean pajamas I asked the housekeeper to bring during the day. Change into them!”

”Oh!” Ruan Zhitong responded, taking the pajamas Mu Beiting handed over and turning around to re-enter the bathroom.

When Ruan Zhitong changed into the pajamas and came out, Mu Beiting was sitting on the sofa in the ward, casually flipping through a financial magazine.

Looking at the man she had loved deeply for thirteen years just within arm’s reach, Ruan Zhitong felt a stir in her heart, walked over to sit beside him, wrapped her arm around his, rested her head on his shoulder, and softly called, ”Husband...!”

Mu Beiting slightly paused, then set the financial magazine on the coffee table in front of them, covering Ruan Zhitong’s small hand on his arm with his large one gently, ”Tired? Let me carry you to bed to rest!”

Ruan Zhitong shook her head, earnestly saying, ”Husband, I missed you so much!”

Thirteen years, it had been thirteen years since they parted, and she had never been this close with the man she loved again!

This long-lost feeling made her very satisfied! Really very satisfied! From now on, she can live happily together with the man she loves forever!

Although she didn’t like Ye Anxin’s two children, she would still treat them as her own! After all, she is Ye Anxin now, and Ye Anxin is her!

Listening to her words, Mu Beiting gently replied, indulgently, ”Silly girl, aren’t we together every day? What are you thinking?”

Ruan Zhitong imitated Ye Anxin’s tone, playfully complaining, ”Others say that a day apart feels like three seasons apart. For me, a minute apart feels like three seasons! I just want to be with my husband all the time!”

Mu Beiting smiled subtly, gently saying, ”Silly girl, you just woke up; go rest quickly! You’re very weak now; you can’t be careless!”

”Okay! I want my husband to sleep with me!” Ruan Zhitong nodded, coyly snuggling into Mu Beiting’s arm.

Mu Beiting’s body trembled slightly, stood up from the sofa, and bent down to pick Ruan Zhitong up from it! Ruan Zhitong immediately wrapped her arms around his neck, looking at him with great expectation.

Mu Beiting carried Ruan Zhitong and strode towards the hospital bed, gently laying her down on it.

Ruan Zhitong obediently lay in bed, her eyes glistening brightly as she looked at Mu Beiting, the meaning in her eyes and the expression on her face couldn’t be clearer!

Just as she thought Mu Beiting would come over, he merely pulled the covers over her, tucked her in gently, and bent down to kiss her forehead, ”I’ll go take a shower. You go to sleep first; if you’re tired, don’t wait for me!”

”I’ll wait for you!” Ruan Zhitong’s lips curled slightly upward, she said, smiling sweetly.

”Then I’ll go shower first!” Mu Beiting nodded, finding the pajamas sent by the housekeeper and heading into the bathroom.

Ruan Zhitong lay on the hospital bed, playing with her hair with slender fingers, a smug smile curling her lips as she kept her eyes fixed on the bathroom, waiting for Mu Beiting to come out.

In no time, the bathroom door opened! Mu Beiting emerged, wrapped in a towel around his lower body!

Seeing Ruan Zhitong still awake, while toweling his wet hair, he asked, ”Still not asleep?”

Ruan Zhitong’s cheeks flushed a shade of red, she replied bashfully, ”I said I wanted to wait for you to come out! If you’re not by my side, I can’t sleep!”

Mu Beiting sat down on the edge of the bed, Ruan Zhitong quickly got up, kneeling behind Mu Beiting, taking the towel from his hand, and adeptly toweling off his wet hair.

Mu Beiting said nothing, just sat there on the bed, letting her dry his hair!

After drying Mu Beiting’s hair, Ruan Zhitong placed the towel on the backrest of the chair beside the bed, then hugged Mu Beiting’s neck from behind, teasing his earlobe with her nimble tongue, ”Husband, I’m finished drying your hair; I want you to hug me to sleep!”

Mu Beiting turned around, looking at her face so close, kissed her forehead with his thin lips, and gently pressed her small body down to the bed.

Throughout the process, Ruan Zhitong’s arms stayed around Mu Beiting’s neck, she exerted a little force, pulling Mu Beiting closer, about to kiss his lips.

But just as her lips were about to touch Mu Beiting’s, whether intentionally or unintentionally, Mu Beiting slightly turned his head to the side, kissing her cheek instead.

”Husband!” Ruan Zhitong pouted unhappily.

Mu Beiting coaxed her gently, ”Be good, listen to me! You just woke up, and your wounds aren’t completely healed! Be a good girl and rest well! The hospital bed is too small, I’m afraid I might bump into your wounds while sleeping, so I’ll squeeze onto the sofa tonight!”

Ruan Zhitong insisted, ”Husband! It’s okay! My wounds aren’t painful anymore!”

”Be good! It’s only been one day, how could it not hurt! We have plenty of time in the future! Focus on getting better now!” Saying that, he kissed her forehead again fervently.

Ruan Zhitong finally asked, ”Are you really not going to hug me to sleep?”

Mu Beiting nodded firmly, ”The hospital bed is too small! It’s for your own good! Be sensible and obedient!”

Ruan Zhitong wouldn’t give up, biting her lower lip in a feigned pitiful manner, ”But, but if you don’t hug me, I can’t fall asleep!”

She had gone through painstaking efforts just to be with Mu Beiting! Today is their first day together; how could she let this opportunity slip away!
