Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 815: Chapter 858: Overwhelmed with Pressure

Because of Ye Anxin’s injury, and the next day happened to be the weekend, the Mu Family’s father and son took on the responsibility of taking care of Ye Anxin! Ye Anxin felt like she was under house arrest; she either lay on the bed or on the sofa! If she couldn’t lie down any longer, the Mu Family father and son would help her take a small walk in the garden! Three times a day, morning, noon, and night, they reminded her to take her medicine.

Being so cared for and concerned about by her husband and son made Ye Anxin feel both happy and pressured!

After being under strict supervision for two days, Mu Beiting went to work and Xiao Bai went to school, and Ye Anxin finally breathed a sigh of relief!

It was also the only time she was so eager for them to go to work and school!

Ye Anxin sat on the sofa watching Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai as they reached the door. She was thinking about taking a walk in the garden once they left, but the two at the door seemed to catch on to her plan and said in unison, ”Lie down in bed, don’t get up, otherwise... we’ll tie you to the bed!”

”...!” With what the father and son said, Ye Anxin’s small plan in her mind immediately fell apart, and she was instantly dispirited!

Seeing her expression, the Mu Family father and son felt a moment of satisfaction, then left the house contentedly.

After Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai left, the nanny took little Chu Yi to the garden for fresh air, leaving Ye Anxin lying on the sofa in the living room, playing with her phone!

Just as she was so bored she was about to go crazy, her phone rang.

Seeing it was a call from Ling Yueyue, Ye Anxin immediately answered and put the phone to her ear, ”Yueyue, you’re the best. You knew I was bored, so you called to chat with me, right?”

Ling Yueyue followed her words, ”If you’re bored, why not go out shopping! Take Chu Yi with you!”

Ye Anxin pouted, feeling both wronged and happy, ”I can’t! I twisted my ankle and am resting in bed now! Uncle and Xiao Bai just left and reminded me repeatedly not to get up and walk around! Otherwise... they’ll tie me to the bed!”

”Silly girl, are you complaining or showing off?” Ling Yueyue, having been friends with Ye Anxin for years, immediately recognized what Ye Anxin meant.

Although she was complaining about Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai, she was actually blatantly showing how good they were to her!

Ye Anxin didn’t deny it and admitted it openly, ”Both! I just can’t get up now, so bored! How about you come over to my place and hang out with me! You have nothing to do anyway!”

Ling Yueyue agreed straightforwardly, ”Sure! Wait for me, I’ll come over right now, and see my goddaughter as well!”

”Then I’ll wait for you!” With that, Ye Anxin happily hung up the phone! Thinking that someone would finally come to keep her company, her mood brightened immediately.

Ye Anxin lay on the sofa, using her phone to read the news while waiting for Ling Yueyue to arrive!

After about an hour, Ling Yueyue still hadn’t arrived, and the nanny came in holding the fussy little Chu Yi, ”Madam, Miss is starting to fuss, she probably misses you!”

Because whenever she brought little Chu Yi to play in the garden before, Ye Anxin was always with her! And although Ye Anxin couldn’t accompany them for these two days, Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai stayed with her! So she could play in the garden for a long time!

But today, without Ye Anxin’s company and neither Mu Beiting nor Xiao Bai around, little Chu Yi couldn’t play for long before starting to fuss.

”Come here!” Knowing little Chu Yi was getting cranky again, Ye Anxin clapped her hands and took little Chu Yi from the nanny’s arms.

As soon as Ye Anxin held her, little Chu Yi immediately calmed down and smiled at Ye Anxin with squinting eyes.

Ye Anxin sat on the sofa, legs parallel, playing with little Chu Yi to entertain her!

When they had played enough, the nanny went to make some milk for her! After drinking the milk, little Chu Yi yawned lazily and soon fell asleep in Ye Anxin’s arms.

Once little Chu Yi was asleep, Ye Anxin had the nanny take her to the nursery upstairs to sleep!

The nanny had just left with little Chu Yi when Ling Yueyue appeared in the villa.

”Where’s Chu Yi? She’s not in the garden or in the house? Where did you hide her?” Ling Yueyue asked, not even checking Ye Anxin’s injury, but looking around for little Chu Yi as soon as she entered.

Ye Anxin couldn’t help but roll her eyes, ”Chu Yi just fell asleep, the nanny took her upstairs to sleep! If you had been a bit quicker, you might have caught a glimpse of her!”

”Darn it, how could this happen! I rushed here just to see her! If I’d known, I wouldn’t have hurried on the way!” Ling Yueyue pouted, disappointed, and sat down next to Ye Anxin.

”...!” Ye Anxin helplessly looked at her.

Seeing Ye Anxin remain silent, Ling Yueyue complained, ”It’s all your fault for living in such a remote place, it’s inconvenient for coming and going! A round trip takes several hours! I think you should find a more suitable place to move to! That way, I won’t find it bothersome to visit you every time!”

”Living here is wonderful, it’s quiet, peaceful, and secluded from the world! The air is good too! I love this place!” With that, Ye Anxin didn’t forget to close her eyes, take a deep breath, and wear a satisfied face.

Seeing Ye Anxin like this, Ling Yueyue retorted, ”You deserve to be bored!”

Ye Anxin pouted, pretending to be hurt, ”Alright, I’m already injured, yet you don’t care or show sympathy and say such things!”

Reminded by Ye Anxin, Ling Yueyue suddenly remembered her injury and quickly checked her condition. Seeing her tightly bandaged ankle, she asked with concern, ”Seriously, how did this happen? How did you get so badly injured?”

Ye Anxin lowered her head, purposely sighed helplessly, ”Oh, it’s a long story, hard to explain in a few words!”

Seeing this, Ling Yueyue unceremoniously smacked the back of her head, ”Stop messing around, just tell me how you got injured? Your uncle spoils you so much and you travel in a car, how did he let you get hurt?”

”It was last Friday, on my birthday...!” Ye Anxin pouted, rubbing her head where Ling Yueyue smacked, she recounted the entire incident! Originally, she wanted to skip over some details and just talk about getting injured! But under Ling Yueyue’s persistent questioning, Ye Anxin ended up recounting the entire night! Of course, she skipped over the ”battle” in the cabin at the end!

After hearing Ye Anxin’s story, Ling Yueyue’s eyes gradually widened, her pupils dilating in disbelief as she looked at Ye Anxin.
