Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 822: Chapter 865: A Familiar Face

Seeing that Mu Beiting didn’t move, Ye Anxin thought it was inconvenient for him to hold Chu Yi, so she reached out and took Chu Yi into her arms.

But still, Mu Beiting remained motionless.

Ye Anxin puzzledly asked, ”Honey, what’s wrong with you? Why aren’t you moving?”

Mu Beiting frowned and asked in a deep voice, looking at the red swimsuit in Ye Anxin’s hand, ”Are you planning to wear this out?”

Ye Anxin raised her eyebrows and said matter-of-factly, ”Of course! What else would you wear to the beach if not a swimsuit?”

Mu Beiting decisively said, ”A swimsuit is fine, but not this one!”

Ye Anxin held up the swimsuit and asked perplexed, ”Why not?”

This swimsuit was specifically chosen for this trip with the help of Yueyue!

She took a long time to pick this one! It’s not too revealing, nor too conservative. Everything that should be covered is, and everything that shouldn’t be covered isn’t.

Mu Beiting’s lips parted slightly as he casually spoke three words, ”Too revealing!”

Ye Anxin carefully examined the swimsuit in her hand and said indifferently, ”Too revealing? I don’t think so! I think it’s quite nice! I like the color too!”

Mu Beiting said expressionlessly, ”I don’t like it!”

”...!” Ye Anxin looked at Mu Beiting, blinking her eyes and then blinking them again.

”Let’s buy a new one later! I’ll buy it for you!” he said, taking the swim trunks Ye Anxin had bought for him into the bathroom, leaving Ye Anxin to stare blankly at the red swimsuit.

When they reached the beach... At the stall by the beach specifically for buying swimsuits, Ye Anxin regretted her decision!

Standing by the stall, Mu Beiting glanced over all the swimsuits and unhesitatingly picked out a black one-piece with white floral prints and handed it to Ye Anxin!

This outfit wasn’t just ugly in color; it was overly conservative! The top tightly covered the chest, and the bottom had a pleated skirt that covered the buttocks and thighs completely!

Seeing this swimsuit, Ye Anxin’s mouth twitched!

Although she did prefer wearing something a bit more conservative! But this swimsuit was too conservative! Apart from the shoulders and arms, everything else was wrapped up tightly. It looked more like a shapewear than a swimsuit!

Ye Anxin asked disdainfully, ”Are you sure about this outfit, Uncle?”

”Of course! Not only does it look good, but more importantly, it’s not revealing! This is the one!” Mu Beiting said, forcefully stuffing the swimsuit into Ye Anxin’s arms, unapologetically paid, and then urged, ”There’s a dressing room next door, hurry and change into the swimsuit!”

”But, but...!” Ye Anxin hesitated, holding the swimsuit without wanting to change.

Mu Beiting raised an eyebrow and said domineeringly, ”But what! None of the other swimsuits are acceptable! Either go home or change into this; you choose!”

”...!” Ye Anxin bit her lower lip, and after some mental struggle, decided to go to the dressing room and change into the swimsuit Mu Beiting had personally chosen!

Watching Ye Anxin’s departing figure, a hint of pride flickered in Mu Beiting’s eyes!

Seeing his mother’s resentful look and his father’s proud expression, Xiao Bai couldn’t help but roll his eyes beside them!

So childish! I thought mom was already childish enough, but I didn’t realize dad was this childish too! We’re at the beach for fun, who cares about a swimsuit!

Isn’t a conservative swimsuit still a swimsuit? The thighs aren’t fully covered either!

Who would’ve thought dad could be this petty!

Xiao Bai pouted, utterly contemptuous of his father’s actions!

However, when Ye Anxin came out wearing the swimsuit, the pride on Mu Beiting’s face vanished instantly!

And Xiao Bai couldn’t help but laugh.

Because this obviously old-fashioned black swimsuit on his fair-skinned mother not only didn’t give off any old-fashioned vibe but also perfectly accentuated Ye Anxin’s curves! Her chest seemed a few cup sizes larger all of a sudden, and her butt became bigger and perkier! More importantly, Ye Anxin’s fair skin looked even whiter and more delicate against the black, rosy like a freshly ripe apple, tempting enough to take a bite.

Xiao Bai generously complimented, ”Mom, you look beautiful!”

Pleased with her son’s praise, Ye Anxin looked herself over from head to toe and smiled sweetly, ”Really? I didn’t expect this swimsuit to look so good on!”

Mu Beiting, with a sullen face, was about to speak when Ye Anxin quickly interjected, ”Honey, you said it, I’m only to wear this swimsuit! A gentleman never goes back on his word, as you said, so stick to it! Besides, this is the most conservative swimsuit here! If you don’t let me wear even this, wouldn’t our trip to Hawaii be wasted!”

The words Mu Beiting was about to say were forcibly swallowed back, his sharp eyes cooling as they swept over the stall owner!

The stall owner, inexplicably stared at, had no idea how he had offended Mu Beiting!

”Let’s go! We bought swim rings for ocean fun!” Ye Anxin said, grabbing a swim ring from the stall owner after buying the swimsuit, made Mu Beiting pay, and then led Xiao Bai to the beach, leaving Mu Beiting and Chu Yi completely behind.

But what Ye Anxin didn’t expect was that Xiao Bai could swim and didn’t need a swim ring at all! Watching herself float in the sea with a swim ring, while Xiao Bai swam like a fish beside her, Ye Anxin felt embarrassed.

Ye Anxin and Xiao Bai enjoyed their time in the water, splashing each other!

Only Mu Beiting, holding Chu Yi, sat on the deck chair by the shore, leisurely sipping coconut juice while watching over the pair in the water.

Throughout, Chu Yi remained blissfully happy, waving his hands non-stop, seemingly eager to join Ye Anxin and Xiao Bai in the sea!

Mu Beiting, initially relaxed with a smile, suddenly froze upon seeing a distant figure!

Then, he quickly stood up, holding Chu Yi, and walked towards Ye Anxin and Xiao Bai!

Unfortunately, because he was carrying the just-three-month-old little one, he could only walk to the beach but couldn’t enter the sea! Helplessly watching as that familiar figure approached Ye Anxin!

Ye Anxin and Xiao Bai, unaware of the figure approaching them, continued to laugh heartily!

”Watch out, Mom!” Xiao Bai exclaimed, and before Ye Anxin could react, a splash of water came at her.

Though Xiao Bai was more mature and skilled than most kids, he was still a six-year-old child! In this completely new environment, he naturally played with great enthusiasm! Especially since it was his first time having a water fight with his mom!
