Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 806: Chapter 849: Dancing Together

Earlier, she was still pondering about Mu Beiting’s relationship with that woman. Now, with clarity, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but ask, ”Uncle, the other day when Yueyue and I went shopping, we saw you with a woman! Did you choose this birthday gift with her that day?”

”No!” Mu Beiting shook his head in refusal, and said truthfully, ”I chose this birthday gift by myself, alone!”

”Then... what about that woman?” Ye Anxin couldn’t believe that this gift was actually chosen by Mu Beiting alone! So what was the situation with Uncle and that woman at noon that day?

Mu Beiting replied calmly, ”She is a friend of Yan Qinghan!”

Hearing Mu Beiting’s words, Ye Anxin became even more puzzled, ”Mr. Yan’s friend? Why would Mr. Yan’s friend be with you?”

”Because I had some business to discuss with her!” Mu Beiting answered simply. However, this explanation was enough to show Ye Anxin that his relationship with that woman was ordinary, not as she previously thought!

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin lowered her head in shame, ”Oh! It was my own petty thoughts! I shouldn’t have doubted you, Uncle!”

Although she kept telling herself that Uncle and that woman were nothing more than ordinary partners, her mind couldn’t help but conjure images of Uncle and that woman standing together!

Recalling that image, even knowing they were innocent, her heart still felt sour and uncomfortable!

Looking back now, she realized she was being too petty! Uncle had gone to so much effort to celebrate her birthday, yet she was jealous over another woman.

Seeing Ye Anxin’s guilty expression, Mu Beiting couldn’t help but laugh softly, ”You’re overthinking it!”

Ye Anxin didn’t immediately understand his words, nodded in agreement, ”I know, I was overthinking it! Uncle and that woman are innocent!!”

Realizing Ye Anxin hadn’t grasped his meaning, Mu Beiting patiently continued, ”What I mean is, she’s not like what you see on the surface!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin raised her head, puzzled, and looked at Mu Beiting, ”What do you mean she’s not like what I see on the surface? I don’t understand!”

”Silly girl!” Mu Beiting chuckled and shook his head, with hidden meaning, said, ”As long as you believe there’s nothing between us, that’s all that matters! We shouldn’t discuss others’ personal affairs behind their backs!”

Ye Anxin nodded, ”Oh! I understand! I get that principle!”

Mu Beiting smiled, pursed his lips, and snapped his fingers! In the dim room, a gentle and beautiful melody suddenly started playing, accompanied by dazzling lights.

As the music began, Mu Beiting stood and walked over to Ye Anxin, extending his hand, ”May I invite you to dance with me?”

Looking at Mu Beiting’s elegant fingers extended towards her, Ye Anxin said bashfully, ”But I don’t know how to dance!”

”No problem! I’ll teach you!” He said, and without waiting for Ye Anxin to refuse, he gently took her hand, pulling her up from the stool.

As Mu Beiting pulled her up, her recently healed ankle pain flared once more!

Yet, not wanting to dampen Mu Beiting’s spirits, Ye Anxin gritted her teeth to endure the pain, placing her hand on Mu Beiting’s shoulder and waist, following his steps lightly in the center of the dance floor! But, despite the simplicity of the dance, Ye Anxin couldn’t seem to move naturally!

Due to nervousness, Ye Anxin kept her head down, fearing she might step on Mu Beiting’s feet!

But even with her head down, watching Mu Beiting’s feet, moving hers in sync with his, every time she moved, she ended up stepping on Mu Beiting’s shiny shoes!

Each time she stepped, Ye Anxin would apologize to Mu Beiting, feeling very embarrassed!

At the last step, even Ye Anxin couldn’t tolerate it anymore, ”Uncle, I’m sorry, I’m really too clumsy, I can’t even handle such a simple dance! Your foot must be hurting because of me, right?”

Mu Beiting dismissed her concern, ”Don’t be nervous, lift your head and focus on me, not just with your eyes, but also in your mind! Don’t think about anything else, just follow my steps!”

”Okay!” Ye Anxin nodded, doing as Mu Beiting instructed, and focused her gaze on Mu Beiting’s affectionate eyes, concentrating all her attention and thoughts on the man before her.

As she continued to watch, her earlier awkward movements gradually became more fluid with the flow of tomorrow’s dance!

From stepping on Mu Beiting every second to stepping on him once a minute, then every five minutes! By the end, Ye Anxin could dance gracefully with Mu Beiting at the center of the shame!

Seeing Ye Anxin getting better at dancing, Mu Beiting praised, ”Yes, that’s it! Just trust yourself to me and follow my steps!”

”I understand!” With the previous experience, Ye Anxin suddenly felt braver, no longer ********* staring at Mu Beiting’s feet to avoid stepping on him! Instead, she confidently entrusted herself to Mu Beiting, allowing him to lead her with fluent steps and body movements.

After the dance ended, Ye Anxin’s earlier tension had vanished, she excitedly grabbed Mu Beiting’s arm, unable to hide the joy on her face, ”Uncle, I can dance! I can actually dance! I’ve never danced before, thinking it was difficult, but it turns out to be quite simple! It turns out that as long as you trust your hands to a man you love, you can dance the most beautiful dance!”

Catching her expression in his eyes, Mu Beiting couldn’t help but smile too, ”Since you like it, let’s dance another!”

”Yes, yes, yes! Let’s dance another!” Learning how to dance filled Ye Anxin with excitement, making her forget the pain in her ankle!

Everyone feels this way, when they learn something new, they eagerly want to explore it all the time! Ye Anxin was no exception!

So, Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting danced one after another! Together, they danced gracefully to the beautiful music and soft lighting! Under Mu Beiting’s guidance, Ye Anxin’s movements became more and more refined!

After dancing who knows how many dances, Ye Anxin finally got tired, and stood in the dance floor, panting slightly.

Mu Beiting held Ye Anxin’s hand, speaking softly, ”Go sit down and rest for a moment! If you like dancing, we can dance every day!”

Ye Anxin laughed, dismissing the idea, ”How can we dance at home? There’s no music, no dance floor! Most importantly, there are maids everywhere at home, it’s embarrassing to dance in front of them!”

Mu Beiting took Ye Anxin’s hand and walked towards the long table, laughing, ”We can come here whenever you wish!”

Ye Anxin teased, ”Here? Do you think this is our home? Come whenever and leave whenever!”
