Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 817: Chapter 860: Family Matching Outfits

Until they sat in the car ready to go home, they finally fell asleep lazily on the way there!

Back home, after dinner and a bath, Ye Anxin no longer had the energy to accompany Xiao Bai and flopped down on the bed, drowsy.

Mu Beiting came out of the bathroom after a shower and saw Ye Anxin lying on the bed, looking like she wanted to sleep but wasn’t asleep yet. He smiled lightly, took big strides over, laid her properly in the middle of the bed, and said softly, ”Are you tired today? After shopping all day, how are your feet? Are they still hurting?”

Ye Anxin moved her previously injured ankle and said lazily, ”It’s fine, it doesn’t hurt at all, and there’s no discomfort!”

”Mm!” said Mu Beiting as he bent down to kiss Ye Anxin’s forehead. While he dried his wet hair with a towel, he spoke gently, ”Take the next couple of days to prepare. I’ve arranged almost everything at the company, and Pete is back from vacation! You’ve been cooped up at home for a few days; I know you’re bored, so I’m planning to take you and Xiao Bai and Chu Yi out for a few days!”

Hearing that they could go out and play, Ye Anxin’s eyes lit up, and her sleepiness vanished instantly. She asked excitedly, ”Really? Where are we going? For how many days? Xiao Bai is still attending classes, is it okay to take him out to play? Will the teacher agree?”

Seeing her looking so happy, Mu Beiting smiled and said, ”It’ll definitely be somewhere you like, surely fun! As for Xiao Bai’s school, don’t worry. He’s good with his studies, so even if he’s absent for a few days, it won’t be a problem for him!”

Ye Anxin jumped up from the bed excitedly and hugged Mu Beiting’s neck, ”Great! Finally, we can go out and play! I haven’t been out for years! It’s just our family of four, right?”

Mu Beiting couldn’t help but kiss her red lips, ”Mm! Just the four of us! Once we reach our destination, let’s buy a stroller for little Chu Yi. If we carry her, she can’t see a lot of things. Being in a stroller is not only convenient but also gives her a better view!”

Ye Anxin smiled and said, ”Okay! I’ll listen to my husband! Have you set the time yet? When are we leaving? I need to go out and buy some daily necessities so I won’t be clueless and uncomfortable in a new place!”

Mu Beiting’s eyes were so tender they seemed to overflow, ”We’ll leave in three days! Make a list of what you need to buy these days! If it’s inconvenient for you to shop, let the butler send someone to buy them!”

”Okay! I’ll go check what we need right now!” Ye Anxin nodded vigorously, let go of Mu Beiting’s neck, and quickly got out of bed to start preparing for the trip.

At this moment, all the fatigue of the day seemed to vanish instantly, leaving only excitement and anticipation!

She just loved these simple yet happy birthdays! No one would disturb or ruin it for them! Just the four of them living happily and blissfully together!

......

Three days flew by! After three days of rushing around, Ye Anxin finally prepared everything that was needed for the trip!

From initially just one suitcase, it grew to three now, not even counting backpacks and handbags!

With a duckbill hat on his head, dressed in a casual white outfit, Xiao Bai looked at the large and small bags around Ye Anxin’s feet, unable to stop his foreheads from cringing, ”Mom, are you planning to move? Why bring so many things?”

”Too much? Not at all! Just three suitcases, two bags, one handbag, and one backpack!” Ye Anxin said while counting the items on the floor!

Not too much at all! No matter how she counted, it didn’t seem like a lot! A family of four going out and not bringing these essentials? Inside are their daily necessities, clothes, diapers for little Chu Yi, milk powder, bottles, all must-bring items!

But Xiao Bai’s attitude was completely different from Ye Anxin’s! Hearing her counting each bag as if it was no big deal, Xiao Bai’s face turned grim.

He swore that the little bit of excitement he felt knowing he could travel with his mom vanished instantly!

Most people travel as simply as possible! But not his mom! Bringing so much stuff! Was this a trip? Just carrying these things would be exhausting.

”Oh... and...!” Completely oblivious to Xiao Bai’s unusual expression, Ye Anxin suddenly remembered something. She crouched down, opened one of the suitcases, took out three outfits from the back, and handed one to Xiao Bai with a smile, ”Xiao Bai, this is a family matching outfit mom specifically bought yesterday! Four sets in total, one for you, one for Chu Yi, one for me, and one for dad! I washed them nice and clean! Hurry upstairs and change! Then your dad and I will change too!”

Xiao Bai couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his mouth and took the so-called matching outfit from Ye Anxin’s hand.

The so-called matching outfit was just a casual sportswear set. A yellow short-sleeved top and yellow long pants! The clothes weren’t anything special, just ordinary clothing!

But what was up with this large Donald Duck on the chest?

Such childish clothes were totally not his style!

Just as Xiao Bai was staring at the clothes in his hand with resistance, Ye Anxin said with a smile, ”Isn’t this outfit cute! Look, I’ve already put it on for Chu Yi!” She proudly pointed at little Chu Yi, who was being held by the nanny, waving her arms and legs.

It was only then that Xiao Bai noticed his sister was actually wearing such an adorable outfit today! He never knew that family matching outfits came in such small sizes, even for a three-month-old baby!

Xiao Bai’s eyebrows twitched, his mouth moved, wanting to refuse. But seeing his mom’s excited and expectant face, he couldn’t bear to refuse, so he took the clothes and reluctantly went upstairs to change!

What he wanted to see most now was how his father would react when he saw this outfit? He also couldn’t imagine his usually serious father in such a cute outfit.

Xiao Bai was quick, and it wasn’t long before he changed and came downstairs!

Looking at the perfectly fitting clothes, Ye Anxin nodded proudly and contentedly!

With Ye Anxin’s gaze on him, Xiao Bai felt incredibly awkward! No matter how he wore this outfit, it felt uncomfortable.

At that moment, Mu Beiting came in from outside! He asked softly, ”Ready? Pete and the driver are waiting outside! We’re heading to the airport now!”

”Wait, change into this!” She said, handing the family outfit to Mu Beiting.

Mu Beiting looked at the yellow outfit Ye Anxin handed over, that soft yellow, and couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his mouth. He frowned and asked, ”What’s this?”
