Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 546: Chapter 589: Thought Herself Too Strong

Ye Anxin shook her head weakly and said, ”It’s not Uncle’s fault, it’s me who thought I was too strong!”

”Go out and rest for a while!” Saying this, Mu Beiting entered the bathroom, held Ye Anxin’s slender waist, and helped her sit on the sofa in the living room.

Ye Anxin leaned against the back of the sofa, rubbed her forehead, and strove to calm the nausea in her heart!

At this moment, Xiao Bai came over, sat down on the other side of Ye Anxin and asked with concern, ”Mom, don’t worry! I’ve already asked the butler to remove all the meat dishes! How do you feel now? Do you want to see a doctor?”

”I’m fine, I’ll be okay after a rest!” Ye Anxin leaned her head back, her words still lacking any strength, making her appear very weak.

Mu Beiting silently stood up and poured Ye Anxin a cup of hot water, ”Drink more hot water, it will make you feel much better!”

”Hmm!” Ye Anxin nodded, took the cup, and sipped the hot water inside.

After drinking a cup, her stomach indeed felt a lot better, and the previous rolling sensation settled down.

”You don’t need to worry about me, go eat by yourselves! I’ll be okay in a moment! Especially you, Uncle, you only had a little breakfast this morning but didn’t eat lunch! If you don’t eat now, you’ll starve!” Saying this, she feebly pushed Mu Beiting towards the dining room.

Mu Beiting opened his lips as if to say something, but eventually said nothing, stood up, and headed to the dining room.

While walking, he said to Xiao Bai, ”Xiao Bai, eat first, don’t disturb your mom, let her rest well!”

”But...!” Xiao Bai hesitated, looking at Ye Anxin. Seeing Ye Anxin giving him meaningful glances to go eat, he nodded reluctantly and walked to the dining room.

During the meal, Mu Beiting, as usual, showed no strangeness, still dining elegantly.

On the contrary, Xiao Bai, no matter how mature compared to other kids, was still only five years old! During the meal, he kept glancing at Ye Anxin, looking worried and restless.

Mu Beiting didn’t even glance at him, and said mildly, ”Focus on eating!”

”...!” Xiao Bai pursed his lips, still very concerned about Ye Anxin, but obediently lowered his head and finished the rice in his bowl in one go, then wiped his mouth clean and hurriedly went to sit next to Ye Anxin on the sofa.

After finishing his meal, Mu Beiting also cleaned his mouth with a napkin, then sat next to Ye Anxin, and asked gently, ”Feeling any better? If you’re really not feeling well, you should lie down in the room upstairs!”

Ye Anxin waved her hand, ”No problem, no problem! I’m much better now!”

Xiao Bai asked worriedly, ”Are you really okay?”

”Really no problem! I just don’t have any appetite for food now! I’ll feel better after getting some air in the garden!” Saying this, she stood up and walked to the garden.

Xiao Bai and Mu Beiting quickly got up to follow her!

Ye Anxin knew they were following behind and didn’t say a word to send them back, just allowed them to follow.

She knew that even if she told them to go back, they wouldn’t be at ease!

So, she walked alone to the cradle, sat down, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath, hoping to quickly shake off the bad feeling in her head.

Xiao Bai and Mu Beiting sat on the chairs next to the cradle, never taking their eyes off Ye Anxin’s face.

Ye Anxin sat for a long time! Although the autumn night breeze wasn’t bone-chilling, it was still a bit cool!

After being blown by the night wind for a while, Ye Anxin indeed felt much more comfortable and even more spirited!

Even though she had shown some recovery, she still had no appetite. After sitting in the garden for a while, Ye Anxin felt a hint of chill and suddenly shivered.

Noticing her subtle change, Mu Beiting stood up and was about to go inside when he heard Ye Anxin say, ”No need to get me a jacket! Let’s go in! I’m much better now!”

”Hmm!” Mu Beiting nodded, and since Ye Anxin didn’t mention eating, he didn’t bring up the topic either.

Ye Anxin held Xiao Bai’s hand and went inside with him, saying as she walked, ”Xiao Bai, don’t worry about mom, it’s just me being weak, I’ll forget about it in a couple of days!”

Xiao Bai obediently nodded, ”Hmm!”

Ye Anxin smiled, ”It’s late, go upstairs to take a bath and sleep! Don’t forget, the day after tomorrow is Saturday, we’ve agreed to go to the amusement park with Chuxia! Think about what to play with Chuxia then!”

”I...!” Xiao Bai opened his mouth, wanting to say something, seeing Ye Anxin’s pale face, but ultimately said nothing and swallowed back the words he was about to say.

How could Ye Anxin not understand the little thoughts in Xiao Bai’s mind! He just doesn’t want to see Chuxia, doesn’t want to play with her! But seeing her unwell now, that’s why he didn’t say it out loud!

”Go to your room!” Ye Anxin escorted Xiao Bai to the room door.

Xiao Bai waved to Ye Anxin, and before entering the room, he was still worried and said to Mu Beiting, ”Dad, if mom feels unwell, make sure to call the family doctor! And call me too, I want to take good care of her!”

Mu Beiting nodded solemnly, ”Okay! Go inside and sleep!”

”Hmm! Goodnight dad and mom!” Xiao Bai waved to Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting, reluctantly returning to his room.

After Xiao Bai went into the room, he gently patted Ye Anxin’s back, ”Is there anywhere else you feel unwell?”

Ye Anxin shook her head with a smile, ”No problem! Just a little discomfort in my stomach, nothing else!”

”Then go to your room and have a good rest! If you feel hungry, just say so!” Saying this, he held Ye Anxin’s hand and returned to their room.

After returning to their room, Ye Anxin went to the bathroom to wash her face, washing away the haggardness, then changed into pajamas and lay down to rest!

Mu Beiting stayed by her side all along, silently observing her condition.

Though Ye Anxin lay in bed not physically tired, under mental fatigue, she unknowingly fell asleep.

Mu Beiting held her tightly in his arms, staying beside her the whole time.

......

After the incident at the hospital, Ye Anxin’s body began to undergo subtle changes!

Loss of appetite, lack of energy, she could only eat some vegetarian dishes and couldn’t tolerate any meat dishes, couldn’t even look at them! Even her favorite sweet and sour ribs made her nauseous.

In just one day, her full cheeks had sunken, though she looked the same as usual, she started to lose weight! The weight she painstakingly gained during pregnancy was gone again.

Because of Ye Anxin’s special condition these days, Mu Beiting brought his work home to be with her.

The playdate originally scheduled for Saturday was postponed to Sunday.
