Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 505: Chapter 548: Spendthrift Woman

Back at home, Ye Anxin couldn’t wait to take out the clothes she bought for Xiao Bai and excitedly compared them on him while saying, ”Xiao Bai, look, these are the clothes mom bought for you today! Autumn is coming soon, these are all new styles for this year! You’ve grown so fast, last year’s clothes don’t fit anymore, so mom bought you lots of new clothes today!”

Xiao Bai looked down at the light blue long-sleeve casual wear Ye Anxin was holding up to him and pouted, dismissively saying, ”That’s too much. Not long ago, you already bought me so many, and now again? Even if I wore one every day, I couldn’t finish them in a year!”

Ye Anxin awkwardly scratched her head and laughed, ”Last time mom bought you summer clothes, this time it’s autumn clothes! I was so taken with shopping last time, I totally forgot that the seasons would be changing soon! No worries, if you can’t finish them one per day, then we’ll change it up with two or three items a day, surely you’ll wear them all!”

Xiao Bai couldn’t help but roll his eyes, ”Mom, do you overspend like this, does dad know?”

”...!” Ye Anxin was left speechless by Xiao Bai’s sharp comment, nearly gagging with surprise!

Ye Anxin lowered her head, blushing, and said, ”Well... mom did buy you a bit too much! But that’s because mom hasn’t been with you for the past five years and wants to make up for it! Still, I don’t think it’s overspending! Compared to the millions you two spent on an RV, this is nothing!”

Xiao Bai puckered his lips and calmly countered, ”That RV, at least we used it for two days! But these clothes, you can only wear for half a day! Mom, you tell me, who’s more of a spendthrift?”

”...!” Ye Anxin looked at her son in surprise. Why did she suddenly feel like her son became especially sharp-tongued!

She couldn’t out-talk him, and hearing him say that, she even started questioning herself if she really was too much of a spendthrift?

Just then, Mu Beiting’s voice suddenly sounded at the door, ”Don’t listen to Xiao Bai’s nonsense!”

Ye Anxin and Xiao Bai both turned to look at the doorway, and Ye Anxin puzzledly asked, ”When did you stand there?”

”Just recently, happened to hear the last bit of your conversation!” Saying this, Mu Beiting walked in with big strides, picked up the startled Ye Anxin from the ground, and carried her to sit by the bed. He took the clothes from her hand and tossed them onto the bed, nonchalantly saying, ”If you think there are too many, just burn them! That way, they’re not just worn for half a day! That way, it’s not overspending!”

”...!” Hearing him speak so casually about burning clothes, Ye Anxin nearly choked on her own saliva!

What do you mean it’s not overspending? Does burning the clothes mean it’s not overspending?

This is even more wasteful! Even though there are lots of clothes and wearing them for just half a day is a bit wasteful, it’s still better than burning them all at once without even wearing them!

Xiao Bai pouted, dissatisfied, ”Dad, you’re intentionally siding with mom!”

Mu Beiting extended a long arm to lift Ye Anxin from the bed, placing her on his lap, gently stroking her back, and defended, ”She’s my wife. If I don’t side with her, who should I side with?”

Xiao Bai put his hands on his hips, angrily saying, ”But I’m your son!”

Mu Beiting raised an eyebrow, calmly saying, ”A son will have a day when he marries a wife too! A wife is meant to be with you for a lifetime!”

Slightly angered by Mu Beiting’s words, Xiao Bai instinctively replied, ”I won’t marry. I want to live with you both forever!”

However, his words didn’t make Mu Beiting feel touched. Instead, Mu Beiting snickered disdainfully, silently picked up Ye Anxin, and stood up, casting a cold glance at him, then walked towards the door without looking back!

Seeing them about to leave, Xiao Bai hurriedly called, ”Hey...! Where are you going!”

”Going to the room to sleep!” Mu Beiting casually tossed back a sentence and then left with Ye Anxin without looking back.

And so, Xiao Bai was once again left alone in his room!

Watching their departing backs, Xiao Bai was in a daze for a long time!

He said he wanted to stay with them for a lifetime, shouldn’t they be happy and touched by that? Why did it seem like they weren’t happy at all, but instead disdainful!

It seemed like him staying with them for a lifetime was something they found very objectionable?

Was he that annoying to them?

This time, Xiao Bai was thoroughly hurt! His young heart was dealt an unprecedented blow.

Little did he know, while he was being rejected by his parents, he had also once rejected Yan Chuxia in the same way!

Mu Beiting carried Ye Anxin back to the room in big strides, placed her on the bed to sit comfortably, and gently said, ”Sit here for a while, I’ll go run you a bath!”

Ye Anxin shook her head quickly and said, ”No need, I can just shower standing up!”

”You’ve been out and about all day, you must be tired! A bath will be more comfortable!” As he spoke, not allowing Ye Anxin to refuse, he turned and walked towards the bathroom. After a while, the sound of rushing water could be heard.

When the water was about ready, Mu Beiting came out and carried Ye Anxin into the bathroom, turned off the tap, gently helped her remove her clothes, and then carefully placed her in the full bathtub.

As Mu Beiting rolled up his sleeves, preparing to bathe Ye Anxin, she hurriedly took the towel from his hand, her face flushed as she said, ”Uncle, I can do it myself! You’ve been working all day, you must be tired too!”

Mu Beiting pursed his lips, didn’t speak, thought seriously for a moment, then seriously nodded, ”You’re right, I am indeed tired after today!”

Ye Anxin blinked, thinking he would leave the bathroom to rest in the room for a while!

Unexpectedly, Mu Beiting stood up and began to undress himself.

Seeing this, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but swallow nervously and stammered, ”Uncle, y-you’re planning to do what?”

”I’m tired!” Mu Beiting replied faintly with three words, tossing his clothes aside carelessly, and soon slipped his tall body into the water!

The bathtub overflowed entirely due to his entry!

Ye Anxin swallowed again, her little heart pounding furiously, ”Uncle, y-you want me to bathe you?”

Although he had only spoken three brief words! However, after being married for some time, she had gradually come to understand the meaning behind his words.

Mu Beiting pursed his lips without speaking, just gently nodded.

Seeing him nod, Ye Anxin obediently squeezed some shower gel into her palm, her fair and tender hand delicately beginning to wash along his firm chest!

Even though they’ve been intimate countless times, every time she’s this close to him she still gets nervous and shy! Her soft hands on Mu Beiting’s body were also trembling slightly due to nerves!

Mu Beiting didn’t seem to notice her nervousness at all, enjoying himself with his eyes closed, allowing her tender little hands to move rhythmically over his body.
