Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 511: Chapter 554: Relying on Each Other for Survival

”Mmm mmm...!” Upon hearing this sound, Ye Anxin immediately became agitated!

Seeing Ye Anxin become restless again, someone kicked her hard on the thigh and viciously warned, ”Why are you making noise? If you keep making noise, be careful, we’ll throw you into the river!”

With such a kick, Ye Anxin dared not move anymore!

She knew that now was not the time to be impulsive; everything should be prioritized around the child in her belly!

Seeing that Ye Anxin had finally quieted down, the person guarding her nodded with satisfaction and turned to leave.

Listening to the gradually receding footsteps, Ye Anxin wanted to speak, to ensure that her mother beside her was safe. However, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t make a sound and could only utter muffled ”mmm mmm” noises.

The mother and daughter seemed to have a telepathic connection. After Ye Anxin made the muffled sounds, her mother on the side, Ye Shan, responded with similar sounds!

Hearing her mother’s response, Ye Anxin finally breathed a sigh of relief!

Ye Anxin was left lying on the ground, and not long after, she felt the ship slowly start.

Ye Anxin lay on the ground for a very long time, so long that her limbs began to feel numb and stiff, and footsteps appeared around her once more.

Before long, the black hood covering her head was removed, and Ye Anxin immediately opened her eyes. The first thing she saw were two thin-faced men.

Seeing them, Ye Anxin immediately thought of her mother and quickly turned her head to look for her.

Just as she saw her mother, the black hood on her mother’s head was also removed, and the mother and daughter finally saw each other again after two days! The moment Ye Shan saw Ye Anxin, her eyes immediately reddened, and tears streamed down uncontrollably.

Seeing her mother cry, Ye Anxin felt a pang of anxiety and wanted to comfort her, but she found her mouth was still sealed with tape. Apart from ”mmm mmm... mmm mmm...” sounds, she couldn’t say a word!

Just as Ye Anxin was desperately unsure of what to do, the two men in front of them suddenly ripped the tape from their mouths and then picked up a bowl of rice from the ground and started feeding them.

Just as Ye Anxin opened her mouth to comfort her mother, a mouthful of rice was stuffed into her as soon as she opened it.

”Hurry up and eat, we don’t have time to waste here with you!” Saying this, without waiting for Ye Anxin to react, they stuffed another mouthful of rice into her mouth.

For the sake of the child in her belly, she swallowed each mouthful they gave her!

Compared to Ye Anxin, Ye Shan completely lost her appetite! As she refused to eat, the person feeding her grew impatient and smashed the bowl on the ground, then stomped on it until it was a mess.

”If you’re not eating, forget it, you wretch, starve you if you will! Let’s see if you’ll eat or not!” With that, they stood up and left.

Once they left, the man feeding Ye Anxin sped up, and soon a bowl of rice was fed to her. After that, without caring if Ye Anxin was full, he placed the bowl on the ground and prepared to put the black hoods back on them.

Seeing that she was about to be hooded again, Ye Anxin quickly spoke up, ”Big brother, there’s no need to put these on us, right? Now that we’re in your hands, and we’re on a ship, it’s pointless for us to try and escape. I promise we won’t run away, and besides, where would we run to? I’m pregnant right now! So please, don’t put those things on us, it’s making it hard for me to breathe and catch my breath!”

The man paused, thought seriously for a moment, then nodded and stood up to leave.

Not being hooded was already a luxury for Ye Anxin, so she dared not ask to be untied. She could only wait for the man to leave the deck she was on, and once the door to the deck was closed, she moved toward Ye An.

Seeing her mother crying silently all this time, Ye Anxin anxiously asked, ”Mom, are you okay? Did they do anything to you? Are you hurt, Mom?”

Ye Shan shook her head, feeling guilty and remorseful, ”Anxin, it’s Mom’s fault, from the beginning to the end, Mom was wrong, I shouldn’t have married that brute Ye Shan, it’s Mom’s fault for causing you harm, I should just die! Let me die!” She said as she was about to crash towards the table beside her.

Seeing the situation going wrong, Ye Anxin quickly pushed Ye Shan aside! Ye Shan’s body swayed, brushing past the edge of the table, then she fell to the ground.

Ye Anxin urgently reassured, ”Mom, what are you doing? I’ve never blamed you, why would you do this! You didn’t know Ye Shan would do such inhumane things either! Don’t blame yourself! We still have a chance to escape, uncle will definitely find me once he notices I’m missing! Trust me, we’ll be fine! Believe in uncle’s capability!”

After this incident, she could no longer call Ye Shan that man ’Dad’ ever again! Whether or not she manages to escape, from now on, she has nothing to do with Ye Shan.

”Anxin, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I had no idea things would turn out like this! I never thought he would actually do something like this! I foolishly thought he had truly mended his ways! Turned out, he sold us mother and daughter just for five million! Boohoo... Mom was too foolish to believe in his deceptions!” Said Ye Shan, crying even more sorrowfully as she spoke!

Seeing her mother weeping so miserably, Ye Anxin really wanted to comfort her by hugging her!

However, with her hands and feet bound, she could only watch her mother cry with no way to help!

In her memory, her mother only cried so heartbreakingly twice! The first time was when she had her first miscarriage, and the second time was now!

Even though her mother had always been gentle and prone to tears, such painful crying was incredibly rare! Both times were for her! From beginning to end, her mother always had her in mind!

Thinking of this, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but redden her eyes!

”Mom, you really don’t have to feel guilty, no one expected Ye Shan to plot for five million for so long! Even Yueyue reminded me to be careful when he suddenly changed, it’s my own negligence for not heeding Yueyue’s words, and now even Yueyue fell into the clutches of Nam’s mother!” Speaking of this, she couldn’t help but start crying as well.

She cried because of their unknown fate and because Yueyue’s whereabouts were currently unknown!

Although she constantly reassured her mother that uncle would come to rescue her! However... being on this ship, even if uncle is incredibly skilled, it would be hard for him to find them in time! By the time they are found, they might already be in the most primitive tribe in Africa! By then, who knows what the situation will be.
