Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 528: Chapter 571: Between Husband and Wife

Mu Beiting’s knock left a red mark on Xiao Bai’s fair forehead, making Ye Anxin’s heart ache. She lifted her head and complained, ”Uncle, why did you hit him?”

Xiao Bai covered his sore forehead, feeling aggrieved, ”Ugh... Dad, why did you hit me?”

Mu Beiting pursed his thin lips in displeasure, ”You bullied my wife. Shouldn’t I hit you for that?”

”...!” Xiao Bai looked up, blinking his big watery eyes, looking at his father very wronged!

She’s his wife, but he’s his son, right?

Is it really okay to treat his son like this over the wife?

”Uncle... Xiao Bai was just joking with me! You were too harsh!” Ye Anxin glared at Mu Beiting reproachfully, then gently pulled Xiao Bai’s hand away from his forehead and rubbed it gently.

Xiao Bai immediately cast a triumphant glance at Mu Beiting.

Mu Beiting’s thin lips pressed into a line, a chilling light flashed in his eyes.

Feeling the dangerous aura emanating from his father, Xiao Bai shivered, hurriedly took Ye Anxin’s hand rubbing his forehead, and said with a smile, ”Mom, I’m hungry. Let’s go inside and eat! The butler has already instructed the servants to prepare the meal!”

Ye Anxin widened her eyes in surprise, ”You haven’t eaten yet?”

”Not yet! I knew you and Dad were coming back, so I wanted to wait and eat with you!” Saying so, he no longer paid attention to Mu Beiting, directly holding Ye Anxin’s hand and walking into the house with her!

The butler, standing at the door watching the warm and harmonious scene of the family of three, hurriedly extended his hand to welcome them inside as he saw Xiao Bai holding Ye Anxin entering the house!

After entering the house, Ye Anxin and Xiao Bai first went to the bathroom to wash their hands before sitting down at the dining table to start eating.

Everything made today was food she liked to eat! After a long day of travel, Ye Anxin felt her stomach growling with hunger. As soon as she sat at the table, she buried her head and started gobbling down the food.

Watching Ye Anxin eating so ungracefully, Xiao Bai and Mu Beiting simultaneously sighed and shook their heads disdainfully, looking at her.

Being despised by both her husband and son like this, Ye Anxin, instead of feeling any ’sense of shame’, cheekily grinned at them with her mouth stuffed with food!

The image was as unflattering as could be! Making both Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai frown simultaneously, their eyes filled with even more disdain.

Ye Anxin didn’t mind at all and continued eating as she wished!

Whether it was because she was too hungry or because of being pregnant, Ye Anxin ate two big bowls of rice in one go and even drank a bowl of soup!

Since it’s already autumn, it’s the time to start replenishing the body with nutrients, so the butler had the kitchen prepare a variety of nourishing soups for each meal. Today, it happened to be her favorite, Angelica black chicken soup! Ye Anxin drank a whole big bowl and then, satisfied, wiped her mouth and rubbed her belly with a burp.

Seeing Ye Anxin’s unflattering appearance, Xiao Bai pouted disdainfully at Mu Beiting, ”Dad, can I discuss something with you?”

Mu Beiting lightly uttered a word, ”Speak!”

Xiao Bai, with a serious expression, said, ”Can I get a new mom? One who’s not clumsy and doesn’t lack grace? Look at the way she eats; it’s not like a woman at all, even scarier than three big men! I’m done with her, I don’t want her anymore!”

As soon as Xiao Bai finished speaking, the butler who had been standing by couldn’t help but laugh.

Even Mu Beiting’s face showed a strange expression!

Hearing Xiao Bai’s words, Ye Anxin protested, ”Hey...! Mu Shaobai, what are you saying, can a mom be changed just like that?”

”It’s because you’re so crude! No poise when sitting, no manners when eating! I really don’t get how a woman like you could give birth to such an excellent son like me! Must be a genetic mutation...!” Saying so, he tilted his head thoughtfully for a moment, then suddenly said seriously, ”No, it’s not a genetic mutation, it’s because I inherited Dad’s excellent genes!”

Ye Anxin glared at Xiao Bai viciously, her teeth gnashed together as she squeezed out three words through her teeth, ”Mu Shaobai...!”

”Hmph...!” As if not seeing Ye Anxin’s anger, Xiao Bai deliberately turned his head, proudly lifting his chin, ignoring her.

Seeing her son completely ignoring her antics, Ye Anxin’s eyes turned red with grievance, blinking her pitiful eyes at Mu Beiting, choking up, ”Uncle... look at your son, he said such things about me! Boohoo... it’s really breaking my heart!”

Unexpectedly, Mu Beiting not only didn’t help her but instead said leisurely, ”He’s not wrong! He indeed inherited my genes!”

”You...!” Ye Anxin almost spat blood from anger, seeing she couldn’t out-argue them, she simply stood up and stormed upstairs!

After Ye Anxin went upstairs, Mu Beiting unhesitatingly took the chopsticks in his hand and knocked them on Xiao Bai’s forehead.

”Ah...!” Xiao Bai yelped in pain, holding his sore forehead, looking at Mu Beiting aggrievedly.

”Dare to bully your mom again, see how I deal with you!” Saying that, he put down the chopsticks and walked towards the stairway.

Watching Mu Beiting’s departing back, Xiao Bai pouted disdainfully.

Hmph! It wasn’t just him who was bullying Mom earlier, wasn’t he also participating!

Now that he sees Mom is upset, he’s pushing all the responsibility onto him! It’s really too awful, just because he’s a kid and easy to bully!

Hmph...! Henpecked husband...!

Xiao Bai glared fiercely at his father in his heart, then lowered his head and began to eat sullenly!

Without his parents by his side, he suddenly found it all tasteless.

After a few bites, he simply put down his chopsticks and went upstairs without eating!

Who made him anger his mom, he had to solve the mess he created!

But when he reached the master bedroom door and tried to press the doorknob to go in, he found it was locked from the inside!

Seeing he couldn’t enter, Xiao Bai simply knocked on the door forcefully, ”Open the door, I’m here to apologize!”

But there was no response inside!

Helplessly, Xiao Bai had to go back downstairs and find the butler, ”Butler, give me the spare key!”

”What does Young Master need the spare key for?” After what happened last time, he didn’t dare give the spare key to the Young Master lightly, to let him open the door!

Otherwise, he’d definitely be packing up and leaving tomorrow!

Xiao Bai confidently said, ”I want to apologize to Mom! Dad locked the door from the inside, no one answers when I knock, I can’t get in!”

”Ahem...! Well... uh...!” The butler blushed, covering his mouth and coughing twice, stuttering, unsure how to explain to him!

Should he tell him that many things, once the couples close the door, they can handle it themselves, and the scene is not something bystanders can see!
