Journey to Planar World

*HUUUUUUSSSHHH...—!*

A deafening roar of wind suddenly shattered the silence.

As Charlie regained his consciousness, a powerful gust of wind struck his face like a raging wave. His eyes were still closed, yet his sharp senses instantly caught an unusual sensation throughout his entire body.

(A wind this strong... Am I in a free fall? This is the first time a world transfer process has felt like this.)

(Or maybe there was a miscalculation? But that makes sense... Compared to the slice-of-life worlds I usually visit, Little Garden is indeed on a completely different level.)

An extreme sensation of weightlessness wrapped around his body. The ground beneath his feet seemed to vanish into thin air, replaced by an invisible push that threw him into the vast sky without warning.

The moment Charlie opened his eyes, a majestic sight he had never witnessed in his entire life unfolded broadly before him.

In his line of sight, the horizon stretched out like a giant blanket.

The straight horizon line ended at steep cliffs that looked utterly fantastical.

In the middle of that magical landscape stood a gigantic city.

A portion of its territory was veiled beneath a grand curtain, while another corner was filled with giant tents forming a vast settlement, surrounded by firmly standing defensive fortress walls.

This was the appearance of Little Garden—the world of gods and Demon Lords—welcoming his arrival for the very first time.

Only then did Charlie realize his position.

The ground far below looked as small as a dot, while the sky that usually felt so distant now seemed within his immediate reach.

He was falling from an altitude of five thousand meters in the air!

That entire chain of awareness—from the moment he lost his footing, the shock of the airless sensation, to the instant his eyes recorded the panorama of the gigantic city below—took place extremely quickly. Not even a single second.

”Oh?!”

”Whoa!”

”Ah...”

At almost the exact same second, seven shouts echoed around him.

There were tones of curiosity, shock, all the way to composure.

Kazuya, Miguel, Claire, Wang Jian, Oscar, Frank, and Elena... all eight Saviors were thrown to the same coordinates.

Interestingly, there was no tone of panic among them.

The reaction was not the terror-stricken scream of someone on the brink of death, but merely a shocked reflex as their bodies were hit by such strong wind pressure.

For an ordinary human, falling from a height of five thousand meters without a parachute was a guaranteed ticket to death. Even if one landed in a lake, the surface of the water at terminal velocity was no different from a thick concrete wall.

However, these eight individuals were far above the limits of ordinary humans. Each of them possessed their own methods to reverse this lethal situation.

Charlie merely shifted his will slightly. The Spirit Arts he mastered directly bent the wind currents around him, creating an invisible foothold that allowed him to hover stably in midair.

Kazuya used a special magic item that enabled him to float in the air.

Miguel utilized one of the Navy’s Rokushiki techniques, Geppo, kicking the air repeatedly to ’walk’ atop the wind pressure.

Claire also used a floating magic item like Kazuya. After all, both of them resided in generic isekai-themed worlds rich in magic artifacts.

Wang Jian was different. He neither flew nor jumped in the air; he simply stood tall as if the empty air beneath his feet were solid ground. With the spatial manipulation of the Limitless Technique, such a thing was hardly a difficult task for him.

Oscar immediately transformed using his Djinn Equip, which granted him an innate flying ability instantly.

As a member of the Devil race, Elena unfurled a pair of black bat-like wings on her back, arresting her falling speed with graceful flaps.

Compared to the other Saviors who relied on supernatural powers, Frank relied on technological sophistication. The special boots he wore spouted controlled thruster flames and made him hover in the air like Iron Man. It was one of the advanced gadgets of his own creation.

”...”

Before they had time to think any further, everyone suddenly felt a gigantic consciousness envelop them.

That consciousness did not act to attack or suppress them. The mysterious entity merely observed them, remaining motionless in hesitation for several moments before finally vanishing without a trace.

Clearly, that consciousness was the Core of Little Garden that immediately arrived upon scanning the arrival of newcomers from outside the world, verifying that they were not Outer Gods attempting to sneak in surreptitiously.

Had the arriving party indeed been an Outer God, the Core of Little Garden would have unhesitatingly contacted the Heavenly Army led by Indra right away.

The Heavenly Army was the strongest military faction in Little Garden—a force containing a collection of the most lethal War Gods tasked with maintaining cosmic peace and hunting down multiversal-level threats.

Once that scan concluded, a violent transformation erupted from within them. The reconstruction of Spirit Ranks had begun.

Instantly, all eight Saviors felt an extraordinary surge of power burst forth from within their souls.

Particularly, Charlie.

Even by the standards of his already extraordinary strength prior to this, Charlie could tangibly feel how terrifying the new foundation bestowed upon him was.

Even measured against his previously sky-high power level, he could now clearly sense that this new strength was so massive—far more astonishing in scale than all the galaxies in the universe combined.

The power residing within him at this moment was capable of extinguishing star clusters in the night sky with just a single attack.

And that was not merely a metaphor, but quite literally!

On the power scale of Little Garden, the adjustment of Charlie’s Spirit Rank triggered a truly terrifying soul reconstruction.

The accumulated achievements of killing a god, overthrowing a world-ending dragon, and his presence as a Transcendent existence were fully answered by the Core of Little Garden.

His surge in strength officially propelled him all the way to the 3-Digit rank!

Sensing the power now residing inside him, Charlie realized he had set foot in the 3-Digit realm known as the Almighty Domain!

Meanwhile, the strength of the other seven Saviors likewise surged tremendously, though not as extraordinary as Charlie’s.

With the accumulation of life achievements as well as the track records they had carved out in their respective home worlds, the Core of Little Garden granted them adjustments that settled them stably at the 5-Digit level.

3-Digit Gate — Garden of Avalon.

In a grand gazebo isolated from the bustle of the lower world, a sacred silence wrapped around every corner of the garden.

Seated there was a young girl who appeared exceedingly graceful and beautiful.

Her golden blonde hair flowed long as soft as silk, shimmering beautifully under the sunlight. Her gaze radiated a unique heterochromia—one eye clear blue like a vast ocean, and the other emerald green sparkling as beautifully as a gem.

She was clad in a grand red royal dress featuring luxurious gold thread accents. Atop her head, a pair of small horns protruded, completing the aura of majesty radiating strongly like a true queen.

With her delicate fingers, the girl sipped her porcelain teacup in utter serenity.

She was one of the 18 supreme entities at the 2-Digit level, Full-Authority Domain, as well as the Ruler of the Garden of Avalon—Queen Halloween.

”Oh... How interesting~” She murmured softly while lowering her teacup. ”There is a newcomer from the outer world who instantly possesses 3-Digit power the moment he steps into Little Garden? How interesting.”

Responding to Queen Halloween’s interest, a girl standing on standby behind her stepped forward one pace.

That girl had long black hair neatly tied in a braid. Her bangs framed her beautiful face with precision, hanging right above her eyes, while at the center top of her head stood a distinct strand of ahoge hair.

She wore a highly graceful and formal female butler suit.

She was Scáthach.

Scáthach looked straight toward the sky of Little Garden with an exceedingly calm facial expression, then spoke without even the slightest ripple of surprise.

”Queen, for a Full-Authority Domain existence like yourself, an individual who has merely touched the 3-Digit level is completely unworthy of being mentioned or discussed.”

Scáthach adjusted her white gloves, uttering words that openly belittled the figure who had just shaken the multiverse.

”No matter how great the ripples the other party creates, a 3-Digit in the end is merely a nobody before you, his existence no more than a grain of dust casually blown by the wind.”
