Not Being a Trainer This Time

It’s decided! Since there is no Pokemon Doctor here, it will take on the role of the doctor at the hospital and take care of these Pokemon!

”Buku!” Happiny conveyed its decision to Naoki.

Naoki was a bit surprised and reminded, ”Becoming a Pokemon Doctor is not that easy, you know.”

”Buku?”

”Because a Pokemon Doctor needs to master a lot of knowledge, like determining if a Pokemon is injured or poisoned based on its condition, then identifying Berries and using the appropriate ones for healing.” Naoki gave Happiny a heads-up.

However, Happiny was completely unfazed.

”Buku!” Since it has already decided, it will not give up!

Wow? Didn’t expect Happiny to have such determination? Naoki was a bit surprised.

”Alright then, I’ll teach you the relevant medical knowledge when I have time.” He said.

To become a Pokemon Doctor, one must first undergo professional training.

In the human world, not only Miss Joy, but her partner Pokemon also attend nursing school for training.

If Naoki remembers correctly, Jessie from Team Rocket has had such an experience.

While studying at the nursing school, she met a Chansey and became good friends with it.

However, because as a human Jessie couldn’t learn the soothing song Moves of Pokemon, she couldn’t graduate and eventually had to give up her studies, waiting silently until the Chansey graduated before leaving the nursing school.

Apart from teaching Happiny to identify Berries and injuries, perhaps he could take Happiny to the Pokemon Center in town for practical observation, and ask Miss Joy there to teach Happiny how to care for Pokémon, Naoki thought.

But there was no rush for this, as Happiny had not yet evolved into Chansey.

The next morning, after finishing the ranch work, Naoki routinely passed through the Reversed World and arrived in the Alola Region to continue his competitions.

The opponents in the Royal Dome’s [Super] rank had varying strengths, some were very weak, while others had reached Gym Leader Level, a real mixed bag.

Farfetch’d and Alcremie easily defeated these opponents, leading Naoki all the way to the [Advanced] rank and accumulating enough points for advancement to the Master Rank.

Consecutive victories and effective battle tactics attracted the attention of many spectators.

In just a few days, Naoki, transformed into the Winged King, gained quite a few fans.

Even someone made his light signs and cheer sticks, along with an absurdly dramatic life-size standee placed on Regal Avenue in front of the Royal Dome.

Every time he walked past there, Naoki felt very embarrassed, mentally vowing to never come here again after obtaining the Proof of the Pilgrimage to the Islands.

Naoki took a deep breath and then walked straight into the Royal Dome.

Today is his last match in the [Advanced] rank, as long as he wins, he can smoothly advance to the Master Rank, and fight the Royal Masked Man, Professor Kukui.

Meanwhile, in the Reversed World.

Giratina watched the screen of the Rotom Phone with fiery eyes, which was broadcasting Naoki’s match live.

Having watched every match without missing a single one, Giratina was very familiar with the rules of the Royal Dome’s events.

It knew that as long as Naoki won this match, he could advance to the Master Rank.

Giratina was very excited inside.

Almost there, almost there, it’s almost time for its appearance!

Humans, prepare to tremble!
