Is that... Articuno and Moltres?

Naoki was momentarily stunned.

What is going on? Why did Articuno and Moltres suddenly appear?

At this moment, Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres also noticed Naoki heading home.

Zapdos flapped its wings and said, ”Chirp chirp!”

Articuno remained calm, standing there with its head held high, observing the so-called human.

Moltres squinted its eyes, appearing to assess Naoki’s strength and whether he was worthy of its allegiance.

However, in the next second, Moltres’s gaze was drawn to the Pokémon beside the human.

It was a Dragon-type Pokémon with magnificent feathers, a large build, strong muscles, exuding a wild aura.

As if noticing Moltres’s gaze, the Dragon-type Pokémon turned its head, and with its golden pupils, stared back.

The gaze of the bird and the dragon met in the air, and the powerful pressure embedded within it inadvertently made Moltres shiver.

Such, such a terrifying aura!

”What’s going on?” Naoki’s gaze lingered on Articuno and Moltres for a moment, then turned toward Zapdos.

Zapdos: ”Chirp chirp!”

Through the Power of Viridian, Naoki sensed Zapdos’s thoughts.

It was saying that Articuno and Moltres could contribute feathers to make steamed buns!

Hearing this, Naoki immediately understood.

It turned out Zapdos had lured Articuno and Moltres over with steamed buns!

”Alright! Got it.” Naoki said as he headed inside the house.

Zapdos followed, and Articuno and Moltres hesitated for a moment, unsure of what the human meant.

Did he agree?

Seeing Moltres and Articuno not following, Zapdos stopped and turned back.

”Chirp chirp!”

”Chimey?”

”Hoo hoo...”

The three Bird-type Pokémon started communicating.

Hearing the commotion, Naoki turned back, seeing Articuno and Moltres following as well.

Naoki pondered for a moment and said to them, ”I can make steamed buns for you, but it won’t be for free.”

Hearing this, Articuno and Moltres immediately became alert.

What does this human intend to do?

Naoki smiled and said, ”Don’t worry, you don’t need to do anything extra, just give me a few more of your feathers.”

Moltres: ”...”

Articuno: ”...”

That’s it? They thought it was something big!

The two Bird-type Pokémon simultaneously let out a sigh of relief.

After all, they shed some feathers every year, and even if they fall off, they can grow back, so it’s no big deal.

Hence, Moltres and Articuno agreed decisively.

If what Zapdos said was true, then their power could certainly continue to advance...

”Chimey!”

Articuno turned, using its beak to peck its body, quickly plucking a few feathers that emanated a beautiful blue icy crystal glow.

It handed those feathers to Naoki.

Moltres watched this scene and followed suit, plucking a few orange feathers.

Naoki reached out to take them, and as soon as he touched Articuno’s feathers, he felt a faint chill.

Moltres’s feathers, on the other hand, emitted a warm sensation, feeling hot to the touch.

Naoki glanced briefly, and in the next second, the information about these feathers emerged from his mind.

[Moltres’s Feather: Feathers containing a large amount of Fire Energy, perhaps usable in cooking, effect unknown.]

[Articuno’s Feather: Feathers containing a large amount of Ice Energy, perhaps usable in cooking, effect unknown.]

”Alright, I’ll go steam the buns for you now, it will take about five hours, so please wait a bit.” Naoki said.

Articuno and Moltres nodded, indicating it was no problem, they could wait.

Seeing this, Naoki didn’t say anything further.

He turned and entered the room with Koraidon.

Naoki’s threshold for Legendary Pokémon had been raised significantly by Giratina and Rayquaza.

Now seeing Pokémon like Articuno and Moltres couldn’t surprise him too much, allowing him to treat them normally.

In the living room, Calyrex was sitting on the sofa playing with a phone.

Sister Indeedee had prepared a sumptuous dinner for Naoki.

Dragonite, Pawmo, Ogerpon, Flutter Mane, they were all waiting here early on.

Seeing that it was time to eat, Alcremie and Cyclizar immediately ran over enthusiastically, joining everyone.

”You all eat first, I’ll handle these feathers.” Naoki said.

Naoki reached out to pat the head of Pawmo, which flew over, and then placed the feathers into his storage cabinet, taking out just one to crush into powder, mixing it with flour to steam the buns.

Meanwhile, in the pasture.

Seeing its task was completed, Zapdos turned and prepared to head to the World Tree.

Seeing its movement, Moltres and Articuno, who had been observing the surroundings, immediately turned their heads.

Articuno asked, ”Chimey?” (Where are you going?)

Zapdos glanced back at them: ”Chirp.” (World Tree.)

World Tree? What kind of place is that? The two Bird-type Pokémon were slightly taken aback.

However, Zapdos didn’t say much, it directly spread its wings and flew into the lake in the pasture.

Articuno and Moltres exchanged a glance, pondering that there was nothing much to do here, so they might as well go along and take a look.
