Not Being a Trainer This Time

Cynthia nodded, a slight look of confusion and puzzlement appearing on her seemingly aloof face.

”Mr. Naoki, I have a question for you. Is what Giratina said true? There’s a significant discrepancy between that and the history I’ve investigated...”

Hearing this, Naoki was slightly taken aback: ”What?” Cynthia has been in touch with Giratina?

”You don’t know?” Cynthia looked somewhat surprised.

Naoki shook his head, as he had been busy competing and ranking up the past few days and hadn’t paid much attention to Giratina.

Seeing this, Cynthia pondered for a moment and then spoke: ”This morning, Giratina posted on the forum, stating that the Creator God Arceus is an innately evil Pokemon. It won’t be long before It awakens, and at that time, It would come to destroy humanity.”

Naoki: ”...”

He displayed an indescribable expression: ”Did Giratina really post this?”

Cynthia nodded seriously.

Naoki was rendered completely silent.

Has Giratina gone mad? How could it start spreading rumors about Arceus?!

Naoki quickly opened the Pokemon Forum and clicked into Giratina’s personal page.

Soon, he saw the post that Giratina had published.

The post had already garnered thirty million likes, a seven-digit comment count, and was trending, creating a massive sensation.

This meant that at least thirty million people worldwide had seen this false rumor.

Giratina had gone berserk.

Cynthia observed Naoki’s expression across from her, then tentatively asked: ”Is what Giratina said true?”

Naoki: ”...”

”No, as someone familiar with the history of the Sinnoh Region, you should know.” Naoki shook his head: ”Hundreds of years ago, when the Sinnoh Region was still called the Hisuin Region, a terrifying disaster occurred.”

Cynthia was slightly startled.

”Related to the Hisuin Era?” she quickly inquired.

”I once saw related records in some ancient ruins. That disaster was caused by Giratina seeking revenge against Arceus and collaborating with a human to destroy the world created by Arceus.”

”Based on this, it’s not difficult to speculate that the relationship between Giratina and Arceus was not good.”

Giratina and Arceus had a poor relationship?

What caused this? Cynthia was immediately drawn to this fact.

Then, she understood the reason why Giratina sent out that false message.

This was also Giratina’s way of taking revenge on Arceus!

”Mr. Naoki, do you know the reason?” Cynthia asked.

”I’m not really sure, but I think it’s probably favoritism?” Naoki shook his head: ”Arceus simultaneously created Giratina and those who govern time and space, Dialga and Palkia.”

”Dialga and Palkia can freely roam in this beautiful world, while Giratina was cast into a ruined world, according to records, a dimension of emptiness, filled with deathly silence and void.”

Cynthia fell into deep thought.

And at that moment, a ”ding” suddenly sounded in the living room.

That was the alarm Naoki set, indicating the steamed buns were ready.

Naoki glanced that way, then said: ”I have something else to do. Let’s leave it here for today! If you find any ancient books containing mythology, remember to bring them to me—I might be able to help decipher them.”

”I understand. Thank you very much for your help today.” Cynthia graciously expressed her gratitude.

Naoki smiled, then nonchalantly ended the call and walked to the kitchen, lifting the lid of the pot.

A cloud of milky-white steam billowed out.

Amidst the steam, there were two rows of plump, round steamed buns.

One row was ice blue, while the other was fiery orange-red.
