Chapter 472: Chapter 279: Magical Fruit Wines

After all this was done, the time had reached four o’clock in the evening.

Naoki looked at the calendar and suddenly remembered that the fruit wine he had put into the wine cellar for brewing should be ready now.

So, he went to the wine cellar, found the oak barrel where the fruit wine was brewed, and as soon as he opened the wooden stopper, a rich wine aroma mixed with fruit fragrance wafted out.

Smelling this aroma, Naoki’s eyes lit up, and he hurriedly used a beer glass to pour a cup.

This was fruit wine brewed from Pecha Berry, and under the dim light, the liquid of this fruit wine was as clear as a spring, with a light pink color, just like the color of a Pecha Berry.

Naoki looked down, and the information about this cup of fruit wine floated into his mind.

[Pecha Berry Wine (B): A fruit wine brewed from Pecha Berry, perfectly combining the fresh scent of the Berry with the rich aroma of the wine, tasting sweet and perhaps sought after by some Pokemon.

Cooking Effect: Detoxification, with the effect of removing the poison status and toxic condition from Pokemon and providing some poison resistance to their bodies, the effect cannot be stacked.

(Poison Resistance: When Pokemon fall into a poisoned state, it can reduce the damage caused by poisoning, and there is a slight chance to be immune to the poisoned state.)

Evaluation: Though the wine is good, do not overindulge!]

Seeing the effect of this fruit wine, Naoki couldn’t help but look surprised.

Poison resistance? That’s a very exaggerated effect! Especially effective against Poison Type Pokemon’s special attacks.

However, upon seeing the following ”some” and ”slight chance,” Naoki no longer thought it was exaggerated.

Still, overall it was quite good, at least after drinking this cup of fruit wine, one can permanently reduce some damage caused by poisoning.

This is great, the beverages in the tavern can finally be updated.

Then, Naoki opened the next oak barrel.

The last time he brewed fruit wine, he used a total of three types of Berries, namely Pecha Berry, Cheri Berry, and Sitrus Berry.

Now that the Pecha Berry Wine has detoxifying effects, what about the other two?

Thinking of this, Naoki hurriedly poured a cup of Cheri Berry Wine to check it.

[Cheri Berry Wine (B): A fruit wine brewed from Cheri Berry, with a spicy taste that perhaps Fire Type Pokemon would greatly enjoy.

Cooking Effect: Paralysis Resistance, after drinking, it can relieve paralysis from Pokemon and provide some paralysis resistance, reducing the chance of falling into a paralyzed state, the effect cannot be stacked.

Evaluation: Though the wine is good, do not overindulge!]

”As expected, it can also permanently increase paralysis resistance!”

Naoki decided to let all the Pokemon on the ranch drink a cup each, although the resistance increase is small, sometimes it might just be the little bit of resistance that makes the difference.

Next, there was only the last Sitrus Berry Wine left.

Naoki opened the oak barrel stopper, poured a cup of fruit wine, and looked down.

[Sitrus Berry Wine (B): A fruit wine brewed from Sitrus Berry, tasting sour and sweet, possibly sought after by some Pokemon.

Cooking Effect: Stamina restoration, after drinking, will restore stamina to the drinker.

Evaluation: Though the wine is good, do not overindulge!]

Naoki: ”...”

Why did it become so lackluster when it came to Sitrus Berry?

Well, it can’t be said to be lackluster, it can only be considered normal in effect.

Looking at the three oak barrels in front of him, Naoki fell into deep thought.

The Pecha Berry that cures poison can provide Poison resistance to Pokemon, and the Cheri Berry that relieves paralysis can provide Paralysis resistance to Pokemon.

Then the question arises, if it was replaced with the Speed-increasing Salac Berry, the Attack-increasing Liechi Berry, what effects would these fruit wines have?
