Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 455: Chapter 272: Sensation Caused by a TV Program

”Later, I’ll return to the TV station for editing, and then it can be broadcast. I’m sure this episode will cause quite a sensation, it’s really exciting!”

”I hope this episode will bring me more customers,” Naoki said with a smile.

Hearing this, Alice was also very excited: ”Maybe it’ll attract some powerful Trainers too!”

Naoki: ”I’m looking forward to it. If the goods from the ranch can be favored by these Trainers, everyone will be very happy.”

League Year 198, November 10th, winter.

That evening, a show named ”Man and Dragon” was officially broadcast on Paldea’s most renowned news TV station.

As the program began, the scene showed a group of Dragonites with satchels circling over a small rural town.

The moment these Dragonites appeared, they instantly grabbed the attention of a large group of Trainers in front of their TVs.

”It’s Dragonite!”

”These are very rare Pokemon! How could they appear in this place?”

After a brief shock, a series of questions emerged in the viewers’ minds.

Soon after, the scene on the screen began to change.

Those clever Dragonites, upon reaching the town, immediately flew off in different directions, landing in the town.

The camera zoomed in slowly; a Dragonite with a red satchel had just landed where the photographer was.

The Dragonite extended its chubby paw and knocked on the door of the house in front of it.

Then the door opened, and a kind, amiable old lady came out.

The Dragonite took two bottles of fresh milk from its bag and handed them to her, then turned and flew away with a smile.

The Dragonite’s figure gradually receded in the camera.

And this scene thoroughly aroused the curiosity of a group of viewers.

”Did I see that right? Was that Dragonite delivering milk to that old lady?”

”This is unbelievable! Like someone specifically trained it for this!”

”This Dragonite is delivering milk, what about the other Dragonites? Could they also be playing the role of delivery workers?”

”Oh my gosh! Isn’t this like a luxury version of Pelipper used to deliver mail? This is so extravagant!”

”Who could it be that managed to tame so many Dragonites and have them deliver goods!”

At that moment, a question arose in all the viewers’ minds.

And then, the image on the screen gradually transformed from the town to a rural ranch.

A young man with a mysterious red Pokemon stood under the eaves, gazing at the sky.

Soon, some silhouettes appeared in the clear sky.

It’s Dragonite! The group of delivery Dragonites is back!

Is it this man who raises this group of Dragonites?

”Hello everyone, I’m Alice!” Alice appeared on the screen, smiling and greeting: ”I’m sure some viewers have heard the urban legend of ’Delivery Dragonite’ during their travels. Alice is here today to investigate the truth behind this urban legend!”

”And as you can see, the legend is true! And the place I visited today is the birthplace of the legend, Porto Marinada Town!”

”And these delivery Dragonites are all the Pokemon raised by Mr. Naoki on this ranch!”

”It’s not just four Dragonites! There are also five Dragonairs on this ranch, which means there will eventually be nine Dragonites in total, an astonishing number! Even Alice is very surprised.”

Upon hearing this, the audience in front of the TVs all showed shocked expressions.

Nine... Dragonites?

How is that possible? They didn’t hear it wrong, did they?

As everyone knows, Dragonite is a very rare Pokemon, and some people may never encounter one in their lifetime. They usually dwell deep in the oceans, far from human civilization.

Many Trainers have set out to search for traces of this Pokemon over the sea, but all returned empty-handed.

And now, that rural ranch is actually raising nine Dragonites at once!

Who in the world is that man?!

Meanwhile, in the ancestral home of the Dragon Master clan.

An elderly man with gray hair was brought in front of the TV by the younger generation of the clan, and upon seeing the young man sending Dragonite to deliver goods, he couldn’t help but reveal a shocked expression.

Who is that guy? How can he be better at taming Dragon Type Pokemon than our Dragon Master family?!

Even if our whole family were combined, we wouldn’t have that many Dragonites!

No, that’s not right!

The old man quickly came to his senses, grabbed his cane, and forcefully tapped the floor, shouting:

”This is utter nonsense! How can this kid let a Pokemon like Dragonite do that kind of job!”

Dragon Type Pokemon are so noble and strong; they are naturally meant to be active on the battlefield.

Every member of the Dragon Master clan takes pride in taming Dragon Type Pokemon and is proud of raising powerful Dragon Type Pokemon.

And now, someone is so wastefully squandering them!

”Speaking of Mr. Naoki and Dragonite, there was once a very touching story between them! It was because of this incident that the Dragonites chose Mr. Naoki and stayed at the ranch to help him work.”

With that, Alice slowly began telling the audience the story of how Naoki helped Dragonite become stronger, and how Dragonite grew from a weak Dragonite into a powerful one.
