Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 461: Chapter 275: The Traveling Bear Is Back, and Has Brought You Gifts

Thus, Nemona made a decision in her heart — when she becomes a Trainer in the future, she must come here to challenge this Pokemon, and that Pawmot!

After seeing Koraidon, Nemona ran over to the Dragonites.

Naoki followed behind with Arven, and he said to Arven and Nemona, looking at the Dragonites:

”These Dragonites are currently working as delivery personnel on the ranch. They come to the ranch every morning and help me deliver goods to the customers who ordered.”

”Rawr~” The Dragonites greeted Naoki happily.

”So cute!” Nemona’s gaze was instantly drawn to the adorable appearances of the Dragonites.

Beside them, the old butler looked at the young man next to him in shock.

Pokemon like Dragonite are so rare, yet this person not only raises so many, but actually uses them for deliveries!

This is simply too extravagant!

Being able to do such a thing, this young man is no ordinary person!

At this moment, Calyrex riding on Spectrier passed by in the distance.

As they drew near, he deliberately slowed his pace and nodded toward Naoki from a distance, greeting him.

Another Pokemon I’ve never seen before!

Nemona felt her vision overwhelmed; she quickly asked, ”Ranch owner, sir, what Pokemon is that?”

It can even ride a horse!

”That is Calyrex,” Naoki introduced, ”The Pokemon he is riding is named Spectrier, his royal steed.”

Royal? Nemona did not react, but the old butler beside her understood.

Using the term royal... that’s a word only a king can use!

He paused for a moment, then looked at the dignified and majestic Pokemon, uncertainly repeating: ”Royal?”

Naoki nodded: ”That’s right, precisely, his name is Calyrex, the legendary King Pokemon.”

”King Pokemon?” Nemona and Arven were also drawn to this term.

Naoki nodded slightly, then slowly began to tell them the legend of Calyrex.

”A long, long time ago, Calyrex used to ride his beloved steed across the land. His power was immense, and legend has it that when he waved his left hand, crops would instantly mature, and when he waved his right hand, flowers would bloom.”

”In a distant era, he used this ability to bring abundance, making the entire region prosperous.”

”How amazing!” Nemona exclaimed.

Arven seemed to realize something, and asked somewhat incredulously: ”A... legendary Pokemon?”

Legendary Pokemon, with great power, rarely seen in the world, exist only in legends passed among humans.

In the Paldea Region, there are also quite a few legendary Pokemon, like the four calamity Pokemon that were once imprisoned in the kingdom era.

But that time is far too remote from now, and whether those four calamity Pokemon truly exist remains unknown.

Yet now... Mr. Naoki has actually captured a legendary Pokemon?!

Naoki understood Arven’s meaning and nodded, saying: ”That’s correct.”

Arven was a bit confused: ”But... I don’t recall hearing this legend in the Paldea Region?”

Naoki smiled slightly: ”That’s because everything I just said comes from the ancient legends of the Galar Region, and Calyrex is something I encountered in the Galar Region.”

Galar Region? No wonder! Arven suddenly understood.

This is extraordinary! He knew it!

The old butler, who followed Nemona to the ranch, was equally shocked at heart.

He was right to guess! This man is no ordinary person!

Who would have thought such a place was hiding such an impressive trainer.

The old butler had a vague premonition that this man, and his ranch’s name, would soon be renowned across the Paldea Region!

At five in the evening, with a heart full of shock, the old butler led a satisfied Nemona on their journey back.

Nemona happily sat by the window, looking outside. Though she didn’t get to battle Dragonite on this trip, she saw so many impressive Pokemon.

However, she doesn’t plan to give up.

Looking into the rearview mirror at the gradually fading ranch, Nemona made a firm resolution — soon she would return here to battle Dragonite, Pawmot, and that Pokemon named Koraidon!

The old butler watched the spirited young lady and encouraged her: ”Miss Nemona, one day, you will also become an impressive trainer.”

”Yes! I will work hard!”

At the ranch, Naoki stood at the door and watched as the car carrying Nemona gradually drove off into the distance.

”I never thought Nemona would suddenly come to the ranch.”

”On this trip, Nemona got to know Koraidon and Arven, and if the story unfolds normally, who knows what it will be like then.”

Naoki imagined, thinking it quite interesting.

”Alright, we should head back to sleep!” Naoki withdrew his gaze and headed home with Arven.

As night approached, the Pokemon also returned to the house.

Arven stood in the living room, looking at all the Pokemon, and became even more restrained.

Seeing this scene, Naoki smiled helplessly: ”Don’t be so nervous, Professor Sada and I are friends, just treat this place like your home.”
