Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the surrounding Eskimos heard Zhao Rong declare he was going to defeat the gigantic snow monster with the tiny Ultraman toy in his hand, they burst out laughing.

”Young man, aren’t you being a bit too arrogant?” one of them sneered. ”If you can defeat that colossal monster with that toy, we’ll call you ’Grandpa’ and eat dog crap!”

”Trying to beat a monster with a worthless toy is like a mantis trying to stop a chariot or an egg trying to break a rock,” another chimed in. ”Stop posturing, kid! Snap out of it and run away with us!”

”We don’t hate anyone, just braggarts like you,” a third said contemptuously. ”If you knew you were no match for this monster, you shouldn’t have accepted the Chieftain’s request only to show up with a little toy to show off. It’s disgraceful!”

Just as the crowd was jeering in disbelief, Zhao Rong calmly pressed a green button on the back of the toy Ultraman. The moment he did, the minuscule toy began to grow at an astonishing rate. The figure, less than ten centimeters tall just moments ago, swelled to the size of a skyscraper in under thirty seconds. The Eskimos who had been mocking him were struck dumb, their jaws agape in terror and too frightened to utter a sound. The three women and their assistant stared with wide-eyed amazement as the toy expanded until it was large enough to challenge the snow monster.

Lili stepped forward, her heart now filled with hope. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I have to admit, at first I didn’t believe the little toy Ultraman you bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart could possibly defeat this massive monster. But now that I’ve seen you magically enlarge it to match the monster’s size, I believe in you completely! I’m absolutely confident you can do it!”

Zhao Rong, chewing his gum with a relaxed expression, replied, ”Miss Lili, I didn’t use any Magic to make it bigger. This toy simply has a built-in function to grow. I just pushed the green button on its back, and now it’s ready to fight the snow monster.”

When Yu Lan saw this and recalled how the Eskimos had ridiculed Zhao Rong, she stepped forward and rebuked them sharply. ”You people are so blind! You judge a book by its cover and can’t recognize true greatness when you see it. When Brother Zhao Rong was holding a tiny toy, you mocked him. Now that his Ultraman is huge enough to face the snow monster, you’re cowering in fear. You’re nothing but a bunch of cowards who sway with the wind!”

Hearing Yu Lan’s accusation, the Eskimos lowered their heads in shame.

Xuelian, thrilled by the turn of events, cheered, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I’m betting on your Ultraman! I know it can defeat that enormous snow monster!”

Just as everyone’s spirits were high and they were anticipating Zhao Rong’s victory, the snow monster suddenly spoke.

It let out a booming laugh that echoed across the ice. ”You humans,” it scoffed, ”don’t think that just because you’ve seen some cartoon about Ultraman fighting monsters, you can buy some cheap inflatable toy and defeat me. Let me tell you the truth. I, the Snow Monster, am a prehistoric behemoth. I appeared here at the North Pole when the Earth was first formed. I have lived for 4.6 billion years! Forget you defeating me—not even the king of this universe could overcome me. So, just you wait. I’ll devour you all, one by one!”

The crowd was stunned to hear the monster speak.

Zhao Rong’s eyes widened in surprise. Frowning, he said, ”I didn’t expect a monster like you could talk. Well, that’s fine. It just means you’ll understand exactly how you’re going to die.”

Lili was trying to calculate just how long 4.6 billion years was. She looked at the thick-hided beast, sighed, and said, ”Monster, you’ve lived for 4.6 billion years. It’s time for you to go. Living on this planet, you’re not only useless but also a waste-producing machine. You’re completely redundant.”

Yu Lan joined in the mockery. ”Monster, maybe no one else in this universe can handle you, but Brother Zhao Rong is the king of the universe, and he’s here specifically to eliminate you. You’ve lived far too long. By all rights, you should have evolved by now, but you haven’t. So, according to the principles of natural selection and survival of the fittest, you have to die. You absolutely must die.”

Xuelian, deliberately trying to infuriate the monster, added, ”Snow Monster, we’re going to watch this Ultraman beat you to the ground, chop you up, and turn you into steaks! We’ll even invite Salt Bae over to cook you right here and make you a meal for everyone!”

When the Snow Monster heard that Xuelian planned to turn it into steak, it let out a furious roar. ”In this world, in this entire universe, no one can defeat me, let alone turn me into a steak! Anyone who dares to challenge me will die!”

With that, the snow monster launched its attack on the Ultraman.

With a single, powerful sweep of its tail, it knocked the giant hero crashing to the ground.

Seeing the Ultraman toppled so easily, the three women turned to Zhao Rong, their faces etched with worry. ”Brother Zhao Rong, why is the Ultraman so useless? The monster knocked it down with just one swipe of its tail!”

At that moment, Zhao Rong quickly grabbed the instruction manual. He was shocked to read the fine print, which stated: ”When the toy Ultraman becomes gigantic, a human must merge with it and operate it directly in order to defeat the monster before them...”
