Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the assistant saw the burly African man guarding the second gate, he couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath. He stumbled backward, muttering, ”Damn it! If I’d known the guy guarding the second gate was this jacked, I wouldn’t have tried to act so tough...”

When the three beautiful women saw that the assistant, who had just been boasting, was now backing down, they all stepped forward to goad him into fighting. ”Assistant,” one said, ”didn’t you just say the experts here were easy to beat? So, are you going to face the African strongman at the second gate?”

Hearing this, the assistant had no desire to risk his life. But, feeling the pressure from the three women, he took a step forward, pointed at the muscular man before him, and declared, ”Listen up! Even though you might be the third-best fighter in this Bada Hutong, you’re still just one person, and there are five of us. If you know what’s good for you, get lost right now. Don’t block our path, or things are going to get ugly...”

Before the assistant could even finish his sentence, the African man grabbed him by the neck, lifted him clean off the ground, and dragged him into a small nearby hut.

When Zhao Rong and the three women saw the assistant being hauled away, they grew anxious. ”We’re doomed! The assistant is definitely going to get beaten to a pulp by that giant...”

No sooner had the words left their lips than they heard a clamor of thuds and bangs from inside the hut as the strongman apparently went to work on the assistant.

Just as Zhao Rong and the others were about to rush in to save him, they were stunned to see the assistant walk out of the hut completely unscathed. Behind him, the once-imposing man crawled out, his face a bloody mess, and collapsed on the ground, writhing in pain.

When Zhao Rong and the three women saw that the assistant had defied the odds and skillfully defeated his much larger opponent, they were all stunned.

Zhao Rong looked the assistant up and down, exclaiming in amazement, ”Assistant, you’re incredible! You actually took down a guy that huge...”

Lili was also full of admiration. ”Assistant, you’re usually such a wimp,” she said, ”but you really acted like a man today. You’ve made us see you in a whole new light.”

Yu Lan was in disbelief. ”Assistant, can you tell me how you just defeated that African strongman?”

Xuelian suspected a secret weapon had been used. ”Assistant,” she said, ”with your fighting skills, there’s no way you’re a match for that man. Just tell us, what secret weapon did you use to take him down so quickly?”

Hearing their questions, the assistant decided to be coy. ”Well, since Zhao Rong could open the Paradise Shopping Cart app on her phone at a critical moment to find a weapon for dealing with bad guys... couldn’t I, her humble assistant, follow her example? Couldn’t I also open the Paradise Shopping Cart and buy a little something to defeat that African man?”

With that, he gave a smug laugh.

Hearing that he had indeed used a mysterious weapon, Lili stepped forward, burning with curiosity. She asked, ”Assistant, can you tell us what kind of secret weapon you used? How did you defeat that enormous man in an instant?”

Yu Lan chimed in, ”Stop being so secretive, Assistant! Hurry up and show us this mysterious weapon.”

Xuelian offered her own theory. ”You must have used a high-tech product, something like pepper spray... Otherwise, there’s no way you could have bloodied him that badly in such a short amount of time.”

Seeing how curious everyone was, the assistant finally took out the weapon he had bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart. However, the moment he revealed it, Zhao Rong and the three women were so shocked they nearly fell over.

Lili shyly covered her face. ”You pervert!” she said, looking at the assistant. ”Waving around such a lewd weapon...”

Yu Lan’s mind immediately went to the scenes she had seen in Island Country movies. ”Assistant, that... ’sheep tool’ in your hand. Did you buy that from an adult health store?”

Xuelian couldn’t believe he had used such a bizarre weapon. ”You’ve really got some imagination, Assistant,” she remarked, ”buying a ’sheep tool’ to fight that African man...”

When the assistant heard their misunderstandings, he quickly tried to explain. ”You’ve got it all wrong, ladies! This isn’t a ’sheep tool,’ it’s a pair of nunchucks!”

As he spoke, he twisted the object in his hands. It split into two sections connected by a chain, instantly transforming into a pair of nunchucks.

When the three women saw that what he held had truly changed from a strange object into nunchucks, they could only stare, dumbfounded.

Zhao Rong stepped closer, eyeing the nunchucks in his hand. She remained puzzled. ”Assistant, even with nunchucks, you probably still couldn’t defeat that African strongman, right?”

Just as everyone began to doubt that the weapon was anything special, the assistant proudly informed them, ”What you don’t know is that the weapon I bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart is called the Artificial Intelligence Nunchucks. It may look like a normal pair of nunchucks on the surface, but it can swiftly defeat any enemy under my voice command.”

To prove his point, the assistant commanded the weapon in his hand, ”Artificial Intelligence Nunchucks, I now order you to go smack that African strongman lying on the ground twice!”

Upon receiving the command, the nunchucks flew from the assistant’s grasp. It shot toward the African man and struck him twice, shocking him awake.

When the man came to his senses, he looked at the assistant, and his face went pale with terror. He immediately got on his knees and started kowtowing, begging for mercy. ”Big Brother, I thought you were just an easy-to-beat rookie! I never imagined you possessed a high-tech weapon, flying nunchucks! Big Brother, I was blind not to recognize your greatness!”

Although the African man had apologized, the assistant remained unmoved. ”What good is an apology?” he sneered. ”You think that’s worth anything? I’m about to command these intelligent nunchucks to beat you to death.”

When Zhao Rong saw that the assistant was about to go too far, she immediately stopped him. She then turned to the terrified man on the ground and said, ”You can go. As long as you don’t block our path, we’ll spare you.”

Seeing that Zhao Rong had spared him, the African man scrambled to his feet and fled, shouting back over his shoulder, ”The city’s ways are too deep for me; I’m going back to the country! The world outside is a wonderful place, but my home in Africa is best!”

With that, the African strongman vanished.
