Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Zhao Rong booked two rooms in the haunted hotel and led everyone up to the third floor. When they stood before the doors of Rooms 301 and 302, a dispute immediately arose over the sleeping arrangements.

The assistant, still smarting from being bullied by the three women on the boat, insisted that it should be one room for the women and one for the men, to maintain propriety.

However, Zhao Rong firmly disagreed. ”We have to mix the men and women,” he stated. ”Otherwise, if the women are in one room and the men are in another, they’ll be scared to death by the haunting.”

Hearing this, the assistant retorted, unconvinced, ”Then how should we split up? You can’t possibly expect me, a simple man, to stay in the same room with these three complicated women, can you?”

Before he could finish, Lili kicked him. ”You stinkbug! Who would want to stay in a room with you? You’re disgusting!”

Yu Lan then offered her suggestion. ”Brother Zhao Rong, how about this? You stay in one room with the three of us, and the assistant can stay in the other room with this little dwarf.”

When Xuelian heard Yu Lan’s idea, she threw her hands up in agreement. ”That’s the best arrangement! Two men in one room, and one man with three women in the other. That way, we won’t be afraid of any ghosts!”

When the assistant heard that the three women wanted to stay with Zhao Rong, his eyes nearly popped out of his head with envy. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I’m so jealous! Getting to stay in a room with three beauties... what a treat!”

His excitement faded as he looked worriedly at their bound captive. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” he said, ”if you make me stay in the same room as this villainous dwarf, how am I supposed to sleep? What if she breaks free in the middle of the night, kills me, and escapes? Then what?”

Hearing the assistant’s concerns, Zhao Rong opened the Paradise Shopping Cart app on his phone. He purchased a portable prison cell and said, ”With this, you can sleep peacefully.”

As he spoke, he opened the package. Inside was a birdcage.

Seeing that Zhao Rong had ordered a birdcage from Paradise Shopping Cart, the assistant said skeptically, ”Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you say you were buying a portable prison cell? Why did you get a birdcage? You don’t really expect a full-grown person like the dwarf to live in there, do you?”

Before the assistant could finish, Zhao Rong used a key card to open their room and went inside. He placed the birdcage next to the bathroom and said, ”What birdcage? This is a portable prison cell. Watch, I’ll show you how it works.”

Following the instructions in the manual, Zhao Rong gently pressed a red button on the side of the small birdcage. The moment he pressed it, the cage suddenly grew taller, wider, and longer. Its wooden bars transformed into thick, solid iron.

Witnessing the astonishing transformation, the assistant couldn’t help but step inside the cell. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” he said, looking around in awe, ”this portable prison cell you bought from Paradise Shopping Cart is amazing! It went from a tiny birdcage to a big iron cage. That’s incredible! If we lock this little dwarf inside, she couldn’t escape even if she grew wings.”

With that, the assistant grabbed the dwarf by the collar, kicked her into the portable prison cell, and locked the door.

After securing the prisoner, he flopped onto the comfortable Simmons mattress. ”Brother Zhao Rong, hanging out with you is the best,” he said with contentment. ”Looks like I’m finally going to get a good night’s sleep.”

Seeing how comfortable the assistant was, Zhao Rong reminded him, ”Weren’t you scared this hotel was haunted a minute ago? You’re not afraid of ghosts anymore?”

The assistant let out a huge yawn and said sleepily, ”If I had to stay in the room alone, I’d be scared to death. But with someone else in here with me, I won’t be scared even if a ghost crawls out from under the bed.”

He then burrowed into the covers and closed his eyes. ”Brother Zhao Rong, go next door and get some sleep with the three beauties. I’m exhausted. I don’t want to say another word.”

Seeing that the assistant was truly tired, Zhao Rong checked the portable cell one last time to ensure it was secure. Then he left the room, locking the door from the outside.

When Zhao Rong entered their room next door, he was surprised to find the three women had already changed into very revealing sleepwear and were lying on the beds.

Lili, wearing a very sexy nightgown, lay on her bed and said wearily, ”I’m so exhausted. I’m afraid I’ll snore and ruin the perfect image Brother Zhao Rong has of me.”

Yu Lan, dressed in skimpy two-piece sleepwear, looked at Zhao Rong and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, when I get really tired, I sometimes grind my teeth or fart in my sleep. I hope you don’t mind.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong comforted Yu Lan, ”Men are human, and so are women. Farting, burping, or grinding your teeth in your sleep is perfectly normal. You three shouldn’t worry about it. Just relax and be comfortable.”

Xuelian, wearing a bikini as pajamas, lay on her bed and said, ”Brother, when I get too tired, I sometimes sleepwalk. If you find me sleepwalking tonight, please don’t wake me up. It would scare me to death.”

With that, the three women closed their eyes, ready for bed.

When Zhao Rong saw that they weren’t the least bit panicked and were settling down to sleep, he chuckled. ”This is strange. A little while ago, you were all terrified of ghosts. But now that you’re in the hotel, you seem completely comfortable and not afraid in the slightest.”

Lili rolled over and said with a laugh, ”I was only afraid before because I was worried about staying alone in an empty room—that’s what’s truly terrifying. But now that you’re here with us, Brother Zhao Rong, I’m not afraid anymore.”

Yu Lan let out a small burp, her eyes still closed, and said sleepily, ”Brother, if you find a ghost in the middle of the night, please don’t wake us. We’ll be sleeping soundly, and it would be awful to be woken up. Just deal with the ghost quietly.”
