Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Miss Lili was certain she would win. So, she agreed to the bet and said to her assistant, ”Assistant, just you wait. After you lose, you’re going to eat my smelly socks…”

Seeing Miss Lili and her assistant make a bet, the beautiful Yu Lan jumped in as well. ”Assistant, I want to bet with you too,” she said. ”If you lose, you’ll eat my stinky panties…”

Hearing this, the assistant was startled. He looked at the sexy Yu Lan and immediately nodded. ”No problem. If I lose, I’ll definitely eat your stinky panties. But if you lose, you’ll have to do a striptease for me.”

At that moment, Xuelian also joined in the fun. ”Assistant, I want to bet with you too. If you lose, you’ll have to eat a very dirty bra of mine, one that I haven’t had a chance to wash in months…”

The assistant looked at Xuelian’s voluptuous figure, then nodded in agreement. ”No problem. If I lose, I’ll definitely eat that filthy bra of yours. But if you lose, you’ll have to perform a naked Swan Lake for me.”

After the three beauties finished making their bets, they glanced at each other. Then, laughing, they looked at the assistant and said in unison, ”Assistant, just get ready to eat our smelly socks, stinky panties, and filthy bra!”

But the assistant was convinced of his own victory. ”Miss Lili, beautiful Yu Lan, beautiful Xuelian, the three of you should just get ready to lose and dance for me!” With that, he let out a hearty, confident laugh.

While the assistant and the three women were laughing wildly in the adjoining room, Zhao Rong had already steeled himself, ready to catch the ghostly hand reaching out from under the bed.

Indeed, just as Zhao Rong started snoring, a bloody, terrifying hand snaked out from beneath the bed and reached for his bare feet. When Zhao Rong saw the ghost hand approaching with his third eye, he couldn’t help but shudder.

Damn it. I may not be afraid of ghosts, but in the dead of night, a spectral hand reaching for me is still pretty terrifying…

Just as he felt a tickle on the sole of his foot, Zhao Rong executed a sudden kip-up. With a move like a monkey stealing a peach, he shot his hand out and seized the ghost’s hand. But to his surprise, the hand was warm.

He was momentarily stunned. That can’t be right. Ghosts shouldn’t have any body heat; they’re supposed to be ice-cold. How can this ghost’s hand be warm? Could it be some kind of ultimate master, an extremely difficult spirit to deal with?

As Zhao Rong was contemplating this, he suddenly heard a voice from under the bed. ”Ow, that hurts! Hey man, could you grab a little more gently?”

When Zhao Rong heard someone cry out in pain, he realized it was the ”ghost” under the bed that had spoken. Gripping its hand with both of his, he pulled hard, trying to drag it out. However, as he pulled, the ghost began pulling him under the bed instead.

At that moment, Zhao Rong felt as if he were in a tug-of-war with seven or eight people. The ghost’s strength was incredible, and it was dragging him toward the edge of the bed. He was pulled by the ghost’s hand, sliding step-by-step toward the floor.

As he slid, he thought frantically, Damn it, don’t tell me I’m this unlucky. Am I really getting dragged under the bed by a ghost, straight into the underworld? If I enter the underworld, I’ll be dead! But if I die, who will protect the three beauties?

Just as he was tangled in his thoughts, he felt himself get yanked completely under the bed. As he was pulled through, he felt his body land on a bed next to the ”ghost.” Then, with a sudden flip, he went from one room to another.

When Zhao Rong opened his eyes, he found himself lying on a Simmons bed with an old man. Across from them stood seven or eight young men.

Zhao Rong was completely stunned. He looked at the brightly lit room, then at the old man beside him and the young men opposite them. As he stood up, he stammered, ”Damn it, is this the underworld? But the underworld is supposed to be dimly lit, gloomy, and terrifying. Why are the lights so bright? And you all look exactly like humans. Could it be that Oxhead and Horseface have evolved to look just like us?”

Hearing this, the seven or eight young men burst out laughing. As they pulled out some rope, one of them said to Zhao Rong, ”Buddy, this isn’t the underworld. It’s just a room downstairs.”

When Zhao Rong heard that he had been pulled under the bed by a ”ghost” only to end up in a room on the floor below, he widened his eyes in disbelief. ”Damn it, so I didn’t enter the underworld? I’m just in a room downstairs?”

At that moment, the old man who had been lying next to him stood up, shaking his hand painfully. ”Young man, couldn’t you see I’m old? You used so much force you nearly broke my fingers!”

When Zhao Rong saw that the old man was none other than the sanitation worker they had met at the entrance of the haunted inn, he was so shocked his jaw dropped. ”Grandpa, how is it you?”

The old man wiped the red ink from his hands with a towel and looked at Zhao Rong. ”I told you to stay at the Wishful Inn, but you refused and insisted on staying at this haunted inn. Now look what happened. Our plan was to pretend to be ghosts to scare you out of here and get you to stay at my daughter’s Wishful Inn.

”But we failed to act like ghosts, we didn’t scare you at all, and we ended up pulling you downstairs instead! Now how are we supposed to keep faking hauntings to frighten people out of this inn and drive business to my daughter’s inn?”

Listening to the old man, Zhao Rong immediately understood. The sanitation worker they had met was the father of the receptionist at the Wishful Inn. To boost his daughter’s business, he stood at the entrance and tricked people by claiming the rival inn was haunted. In reality, the ones faking the hauntings were this old janitor and the young men he’d hired.

Looking at the group in front of him, Zhao Rong said, ”So, your inns and hotels are all engaged in vicious competition. That’s why you pretend to be ghosts, to scare us into staying at another place, right?”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, a muscular man standing behind the old man tried to intimidate him. ”Since you know our secret, you must now disappear from the face of the Earth. Otherwise, all the years of hard work we’ve put into the Wishful Inn will be ruined!”

A tattooed man next to him pulled a dagger from his waist and pointed it at Zhao Rong. ”That’s right, we have to silence you! Otherwise, everyone will find out our secret!”

But when Zhao Rong saw that these men were preparing to kill him, he relaxed.

Just you lot? I, Zhao Rong, could wipe you all out with a single breath.
